Galaxy note 5 screen issue - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Hi guys, I just got my note 5 today from t-mobile. I use gray wallpaper for the home screen and lock screen, out of no where there are 3 black lines in the middle of the screen whenever I turn the brightness down. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Or else I might need to get a new one. Only happen with gray color, nothing else.

yep getting my new note 5 again... sigh

I have that same issue but I am not sure I could get a replacement. It unless shows up with grey wallpaper and it doesn't show up in light. So you can't really see it. What might you recomend?

It is common on amoled screens it is how they are made they only show up on gray backgrounds, no amount of swapping will make a difference there will be some type of black lines or a pinkish tint on grey backgrounds this has happened since the s4 era.

SAMOLED PLUS lines on the screen

On my charge is see lines mainly vertical but some horizontal that show up on some colors. For example in the dropdown bar, the gray startup screen for pulse and a plain white screen. People over at droid forums said that there may be something wrong with the screen. Just wondering does anybody else have this issue and also is this issue important enough to switch out the phone for?

Screen Defects?

In some apps that have black gradient i can see a few spots and even quite a long line of dimmer pixels at certian black levels. Has anyone else seen this? is it a defective screen? Should I go compare it to an in store model and see if the same spots show up?

I have the same thing. From what I've read/heard it's the Pentile screen at work.. I'm still going into. The store later today to verify.... Once you see it you won't be able to shake it out of your head.
I first saw it late at night with all my lights off and I was close to the screen...now I see it all the time.

Do you guys also have a yellow haze/spots on the bottom of the screen?

Question is in the title. I am wondering if I should return or not, since I shove some papers in the gap between the power and volume buttons and they might see that when they open up the phone.
Also, the haze is right under the navigation bar, which makes it almost invisible. The only time I see it is when I am on Immersive Mode on Cataclysm ROM and the background is white.
I am not referring to the yellow tint issue, because the whites are all good, except for the bottom part.
Do you guys also have this problem and do you know what it is and how to fix it?

I do have the exact same problem, and thinking of returning but the gsm where i bought the phone has a really bad reputation warranty wise. Some people get back their phones 2 months later and the guys in the gsm are all bald fat money-laundering assholes.
I too use immersive mode regularly and its really not nice on the otherwise awesome display
Pictures, please?
Yes I have this also. Just noticed it while using the Google Play books app. Without immersive mode it probably wouldn't be noticeable. I am probably just going to live with it at this point unless most people can confirm that their phones to NOT exhibit this behavior.
Yes I also have a yellow glow at the bottom of my phone. I did an RMA and the replacement had the same glow. I wonder if its glue or if these displays are just not on par. Makes the screen look like its discolored on the bottom end. It is very noticeable in chrome on the address bar in landscape mode.

Exact same issue with me. Got my phone late April and starting noticing it a couple of weeks ago. I got it through T-Mobile in the US, and I'll stop by a store later this afternoon to figure out how to handle it (not sure if they will replace, RMA, or what).

I did an RMA so I could sell the new one I got and purchase a different colour, but the one purchased has the same yellow tint on the top and bottom.

Yellowish Display?

Hello guys!
Today, after comparing two galaxy s8 plus I noticed that my display, looks a little bit yellow than white. Just the white color, it's not so white... Not sure how to explain it. On the other galaxy, the white is white, like have to, mine look a little bit "yellowish". On both device display settings are not touched. Do you think I should take it to service? Or is just software issue?

Did you accidently turn in blue filter? There's a toggle for it and I've seen people hit it by mistake.

I didn't touch anything. I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTQr6VwMfBI on youtube. So basically Samsung cant make the same color screen on every device? But how can I fix this? Maybe if move the red option in display settings?
Do you think if the white is not white, this means the rest colors are not shown properly also?
