Hi,
after flashin Calkulins ROM i cant access all kind of adult sites? its not the Provider or the signal, its all fine with my connection.
Did any of you guys had the same experience ?
regards
Your issue has nothing to do with Calkulin's ROM.
What is it then? I thought maybe there is an build in firewall or an AntiVirus APP which calkulin has included? Any idea how to solve this one?

May your government or ISP has blocked you from accessing it.
Ask your friend to check the same website on your network and his/her network.
Also check the same website on data connection.
There is no fault with the ROM. Use any ROM you like to use it.
I think it's the host file that blocks the ads, read about it on calkulin's thread
Thanks guys ill check these options and reply after that

And can anyone point me to a remote app that works on AOKP? Note: This may be an issue with AOKP not recognizing the IR blaster.

There are a number of ways to do this, most of which include installing a custom rom to your Note 3. If you want the easiest way to do it without a custom rom, download the Xposed Installer app. You have to enable the firmware and reboot. Then head over to the download tab and search for NetworkSpeedIndicator and install it. Then head back to main screen and click on Modules tab. Activate the network speed indicator module by clicking on the empty check box to the right of it. Then reboot and when phone restarts just open the app for the network speed indicator and adjust settings as desired. Profit...
Thanks got it working.
Some excellent things in that installer

Yeah, Xposed is a great place to start if you want to see what your phone is really capable of doing with mods. If you decide to go with a custom rom to remove all the bloatware, I would recommend Dynamic Kat. It has the speed indicator built into the rom settings and it is a super fast and battery saving rom.
Appreciated think that's my next step.

We all ask a noob question every now and then. That's why I love XDA so much because odds are there is someone who has the expertise to answer what you may not understand.
you can also see by installing app like Internet Speed Meter Lite on google Play Store.
download and configure as you want.

enjoy.
...as above.
Phone just says that the number cannot be changed?

I couldn't figure out how to do it, so I popped my sim into my old phone and changed it from there. I know it's not a solution but a workaround if you really need your mailbox working
I have lenovo vibe z2 pro (Chinese) and I flashed it with international ROW
working smoothly and updating nicely
one of the fastest devices I have ever had
but the SIM cards are not working at all
as I Knew from different posts, I can change the file NON-HLOS.bin, but the solution will not be valid if I update the phone
any easy and permanent solution??
or at least a driver or tweak to solve this issue without flashing or rooting
I really love the device, but I hate the long search for its fixes
What error u getting on the sim cards.emergency or invalid imei?

The process explained here does not require you to use Odin nor a computer. You might have heard about it talking about different devices, to each one it's own. Also, that process doesn't need you to wipe your device to factory (that wouldn't make much of a sense), and generally root methods never do.

Ok well let's see how it's goes I've been collect info to c if I'd be able to connect to the internet or anything after

It looks like it worked, do you have a root manager? Try to download some root apps like screen recorders.

Updating might be difficult, have a look here

.
There should be a way to do it Downloading the latest LP firmware for your device and using Mobile Odin but that's as far as I know.
