how to fix root access

my phone has root but in application dont have root access
in app drawer have a superuser app
maybe u can answer my question ..

The first thing that i don't know is what is your phone?

@nam555 he made 2 threads on xda asking the same question. The other post has more information. Including his phone model but i honestly forgot what it was.

Unable to mount /sdcard0

Started having an issue with dirty unicorns so I went to wipe in recovery and I tried installing a new rom and it failed. Next time I tried wipe it says unable to mount /system. Tried mounting sdcard0 and same issue, unable to mount /sdcard0. Haven't hooked up to PC yet at work all day. Any ideas? Will upload logs after work. Any help would be great using backup phone that's half busted. Thanks!!!

You might have to Odin flash the stock firmware. Sdcard0 is the internal sdcard. It might be hardware failure. I'd flash the stock firmware and see if you still have the problem

Yeah I know its internal, I'm praying its not that but I just got home and plugged it in and PC says "drive needs formatted before use" lol

Odin got suck on system until this morning only way to end it was pull the plug which inevitably corrupted any data on there AND removed my recovery... can still get into download mode but after 20 mins never got past "Nand write start" am I doomed?

Yeah I tried Odin and it just sat there all night, now it won't even get past the 4th line and I no longer have recovery.

I'd keep trying Odin. Different usb ports different cable. Odin can be finicky and it's your only hope at this point.

Trust me I tried odin at least 10-15 times so far and it always fails. Usually at "nand write start"

Yeah i was just hoping to not hear that. I bought the phone about 3 montha ago for $100 but whatever. I just got a note now. But thanks for the reply anyway!!

I think the link you gave me it requires rooted phone.
I got tons of questions in my mind but i think it would cause you trouble already.

I heard rooting is risky, Do you have any known apps with low risk for rooting?
Or there are no such thing with low risk?

I think this is no risky.... You can grant or deny root permissions for any app.... So if you grant root permissions to any app you should know that why you have given it root permissions and what do you want to do with this app.......
So if you are careful and read guides before doing some changes in system files.... There will be no problem at all....
For root your phone.... Search XDA..
And you can use foldermount instead swapping memory...

remember there is not confirmed root for lollipop if you go to stock lollipop how are you going back to root and custom rom if this doesn't work?

Yup. Both processes state that they succeeded, but when I try to install SuperSU, it says that there is no superuser binary.

hey guys, so I'm getting the note 4 today, can i just go to the Samsung website and upgrade, what will be my old phone, to lollipop and it will unrooted and back to stock so I can sell it?

You could use Odin to install Lollipop from here. That should bring you to stock, beware though, you can't undo having tripped Knox (but I don't think most people care about that anymore)

I could just do it from the Samsung website, as well, right?
