Hi,
I hope someone can help me. I installed the 4.1 jellybam on my LG optimus 3D, but the simcard is not recognized and I cannot select any mobile operators as I get an error. When I check info about this device, I see that smalbaseband version is unknown. Can someone help me out please?
Thanks in advance
On which baseband are you?
You also must flash bernies files in order to have mobile network

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I am in Europe (Netherlands) if that helps. I will check for the bernies files. Never heard of them
Bernies files are reason why you dont have signal.
Also you must be aware that you will have probably have issues with apps like youtube skype torch and etc.(each time after opening those apps your phone will probably froze )
If you want to solve that you must flash new bootloader.
You can find all in development section but if you are not shure what are you doing, dont do it or you can brick your phone.
I hope i helped you a little

Hi this question is in regard to the dual SIM model XT1033
Is there some way that we can get both the networks active at the same time such that we are able to download files using both the connections resulting in higher download speed using only the phone networks?
I do remember reading that this was possible for wifi and mobile network
It, however, would be really useful if this option is created in some way.
Please forgive me if this is technically not possible. I am new here

My nexus 5 will not read any sim card at the moment. I flashed back to stock 4.4.3 and ever since that, no matter what carrier sim card I put in, I get no call reception. The phone is recognizing there is a sim in because I flashed a custom ROM and whenever I put in a sim from T-Mobile,att, etc., there APN settings come up. I have no idea what's going on. I am no noob. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Restore a nandroid if you have one. It should fix it.
Flashing factory images didn't help me to recover the network signal and to detect the sim card.

I had the same problem with my n4 and I brought it to LG for RMA. It's pretty much the only thing you can do.

And this may sound crazy but is it possible for me to push a backup to my phone through adb and then do a nandroid restore through twrp that way?

Yes it's possible. Are you trying to just return to stock/another rom or do you want to flash back your nandroid? There's an easy way to flash zip files through twrp easily. *adb sideload*

If someone is willing to upload a nandroid backup of stock that would be great... Preferably 4.4.2

I've tried that... No dice. I've tried everything. At this point I'm guessing its hardware. Although it doesn't make much sense that the phone is recognizing there is a sim in just will not connect to a network. This is a major bummer.

Yep. Same thing happened to me. It would detect my sim, it would connect to WiFi, but it wouldn't connect to mobile data. I flashed almost everything I could find and nothing worked. Just RMA it.
...as above.
Phone just says that the number cannot be changed?
Please advise

I couldn't figure out how to do it, so I popped my sim into my old phone and changed it from there. I know it's not a solution but a workaround if you really need your mailbox working

The process explained here does not require you to use Odin nor a computer. You might have heard about it talking about different devices, to each one it's own. Also, that process doesn't need you to wipe your device to factory (that wouldn't make much of a sense), and generally root methods never do.

Ok well let's see how it's goes I've been collect info to c if I'd be able to connect to the internet or anything after

It looks like it worked, do you have a root manager? Try to download some root apps like screen recorders.

Updating might be difficult, have a look here

.
There should be a way to do it Downloading the latest LP firmware for your device and using Mobile Odin but that's as far as I know.
