Need help with SS Galaxy S2 CWM Recovery - XDA Assist

Basically, i'm trying to install a custom rom by using this guide : https://wiki.cyanogenmod(DOT)org/w/Install_CM_for_i9100[/url]
I'm stuck between trying to install the Cyanogen Mod 12 rom on the phone because when I plug my phone into the PC I can't access the files and furthermore I can not sideload or 'push and install' because it says "error: device (null) not found".
Please help!

[Q] Wanna repair my CWM Recovery...... Need Help!

I've rooted my phone completely (using Mater Key Root app) and was trying to install a custom ROM (an update) for my phone MICROMAX A56 NINJA 2 but it always failed in the recovery mode........ saying
"Android system recovery <3e>
.
.
.
.
.
"E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted"
So I learnt that I'd got to use ROM Manager to bypass this signature verification and after installing, it asked to select model and flash CWM recovery. My phone was not listed in it I tried both 2.0x and 3.0x (for unsupported models)....... it didn't help me. Then I chose MICROMAX A70 model and flash CWM recovery. (without rebooting as ROM manager does but it doesn't when you use to flash from SD card.....ver 4.0 something)
And there all the things went wrong. I am able to open my phone properly (working very fine) but when opened in recovery mode it's stuck at the logo and nothing happens........ I need to take out my battery and restart the phone in normal booting mode and the phone works but not the CWM recovery.
So what I need is to repair this CWM recovery and please don't tell me the ways in which booting in recovery mode is required because that will not work as it is not booting the recovery mode only. I want a way like that of ROM Manager...... an app to flash CWM recovery without reboot. Will this help me?? And please also tell the way to bypass the signature verification by understanding the problem!
Hope that I've clarified my problem properly!
Please help.......... want to upgrade my phone and that will not be possible without the CWM recovery mode!

[Completed] Huawei Y330 CWM

Hi guys.....i have tried to install a cwm recovery on this phone for quite a while....the devices having no official cwm.....i made it with mtkdroid tools....but it would end with an error saying failed to write to block device....so i tried to flash the cwm via sp flashtool....again it failed saying error img dl sign-header not found....i guess that meant that the recovery was not signed hence it cant be flashed...i tried to dd the img via terminal emulator and the process would be a success only to find that the phone cant boot neither enter recovery mode......the latter is already fixded...but the cwm still is not my recovery....plz help me in doing this.... The phone has a MT6572 SOC chip....and its not mtd........and the recovery partition is squeezed in a mmcblk0 partition which has alot of stuff going on....
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist if cwm is for your device specific then contact developer of that cwm who released .. if you are trying to install CWM from other device then do not do so you will end up bricking your device to unrecoverable state ..
Good Luck!

Unable to install ROM (LG F180L). PC (win 8.1) doesn't respond on Download Mode!

I factory reset LG F180L , device rebooted and entered in CWM recovery mode after showing "Secure Booting Erro!".
I am unable to install ROM or anyother Recovery Kernel via sideload ( gives errors) and Download Mode is not working too.
It is been two days I am searching and trying different methods but no gain.
Additional Info:
1. Korean LG F180L
2. CWM based Recovery v6.0.4.8
3. Sideload error:
Error /tmp/update.zip status (7) or
Installation aborted (without specifying the error)
Please help, Thank you!

Need help to install recovery mod on galaxy-core-plus sm g350

Hi. I'm new here. I want to install a custom recovery but i can't beacause my samsung galaxy core plus sm g350 usb port doesn't work with my pc. I have also try installing new driver. Can someone help with the corect terminal emulator comand for install recovery Image?
Maybe you haven't put your phone in Developer Mode.To do it go to Settings/About Phone and type 5 to 7 times to Build Name after that an new cateogery will appear.Open it and enable USB Debugging. Then download Odin3 in your PC.After that put your phone in Download Mode. And flash the recovery.
@Fulbert95
If your phone is rooted (you would need it anyways), you can install the Recovery via Rashr too, which is a much safer solution than a Terminal Command

[Solved] Wiko Rainbow Bootloop recovery

Hello everyone,
I tried to do an official update in the stock rom (4.2.2) via the settings menu=>about=> System update and then i rebooted, it asked me to install the .zip and it said "installation aborted" and now i'm stuck on "CWM Based Recovery v6.0.4.4 modd by [email protected]" . I guess it's because thiss CWM version doesn't support higher android version than 4.2.2 ? The update was only ~7Mb , it's weird.
I tried to flash the latest recovery (CTR Recovery v3.3) but i get the error "partition recovery not support flash". I tried to use the adb command line but "adb devices" show me nothing.
is there a way to boot on the stock rom , please?
P.S: the phone was rooted but i hope that the root is still there
EDIT1:
I suceeded to connect the phone on my PC with "MTK Droid Root & Tools" but in it doesn't show all the information and the "box" at the bottom left is blue instead of green :/ I guess i'm not rooted anymore?
