Not everyone has the volume up button bug I certainly do not. Also not sure how the reboot to recovery option would work as we have a non standard custom recovery.

I'm hoping the final version or the next version can incorporate built-in codec like the Korean official froyo. If you have used Jboogie's Blur version that is based on Korean official froyo, it can play almost any type of video formats on the fly without using an app like v-player that relies on software codecs.

Just tried this out, but no freeze for me.
Another ToDo would be optimizing the battery management.
Stock Roms due its integration of motorola battery manager have a much better battery performance.

before the bootmenu we had a custom recovery that was called by an app, couldn't this call be made from the reboot menu?
so the bugs that i found
a.camera sound when boot (I got red lens)
b.720p playback don't work on portrait but landscape it's ok
c.I used VLC stream&convert to play my video from pc via defy. It took 12 seconds before the video appear. Normally,It takes 2-3 seconds on 3.4.2-177 or 3.4.3-11
The bugs on above i haven't found any except the microphone when speaker on.

When taking pictures with high contrast, for example outside with sun shining, the camera-app freezes sometimes and the preview looks weird. lock and unlock, and camera works again, but the previous taken picture is not beeing saved.
I can't tell if it's only for the green lense, but it is reproducable and in quarx' thread I saw a few guys having the same issues. I will search and quote them when I'm back home again.

less compressed image is not neccesary enough,
we need reliable camera for a nice moment to capture...
imagine you suddenly saw ufo / superman / weird moment in the sky,
you take a picture but your camera freeze..

so i've updated cm7 from 5.1 to 6, and now the wifi can't find any networks, not even if i manually set it up. tried to go back to 5.1 but that version wouldn't work anymore either. tried fxr wifi fixer from market, no success. tried wiping cache partition, no luck.

Wanted a MOD That could unlock when there's a recognized Finger placed.
This function is already available in Huawei and HTC phones
it's a android N feature.
beta roms for android N already are working that way
just wait for android N
Enable Ambient Display Xposed, you can use it to wake up screen with proximity sensor.

No it's not, it's also there on MM as it works well on my Nexus 5x running MM. It's been disabled on Xperia Stock based Roms. However, on AOSP or CM you can easily wake and unlock the device without having to press the power button.

I also want that,
I also want to be able to register more fingerprint samples. As more fingerprint samples to choose from means less chance of error. it will make the fingerprint sensor more reliable.
Any kind of MOD (Xposed or system) would be greatly appreciated.
Just register in more samples in Settings>Security, I think multiple fingerprints are a standard feature on devices running Android 6.0
This Xposed Module is also quite useful, it disables the need to enter the pin after a reboot, which means you can unlock your device via fingerprint.

EDIT: I recommend to update to LOS14.1 built by Cozzmy13 since May 2017, seem stable without any major issues besides video recording freezing at 30s mark, so can't really record anything longer than 30s FIXED, pretty much everything else works fine. You should be able to do dirty update, but just in case always make backup. Don't forget to download ARM64 SuAddon for superuser and flash opengapps pico ARM64 7.1. Continue in this thread:

short review
boot is faster than Hikari No Tenshi, default theme seem to be a bit darker than HnT at least in quick tiles, Last app through Menu button works fine, no wifi 5/2.4ghz switch (as in other CM14 builds), switching from full brightness in camera to previous brightness elsewhere seem to work OK, default vibration has normal intensity, not as strong as in HnT
new (untested) - lift to wake, power on sounds option, extra settings edge double tap (was in HnT build too actually), force allow apps on external, force activities to be resizeable

-Rom is very smooth, RAM usage is less than 1gb for me (Kuma CM13 is closer to 2gb used at idle)
-Antutu score of 69k! great for a first build! congrats @AndropaX
-Snap Camera works (even 1080p shooting)
-Best news of all - SD card is working in Mi-4S which has failed in every other CM14 build I've tried (including my own). Well done mate!

no problem with Google keyboard through Opengapps
fingerprint setup notification on top of settings for Mi4c (which lacks FPS) was also in penultimate build by Hikari no tenshi but you can just swipe it away and ignore, very minor annoyance
blank default SIM for mobile data even when using only 1 SIM was also in all previous HnT builds, I dont really consider it bug, just go to SIM settings and select it first time and it's fine, it's minor annoyance at first install
can't verify pebble and google app
double tap on power button for camera works fine, double twist doesn't work (or i don't understand how to do it properly, tried many ways, none of them work)
RAM was 1.2GB for me, don't care about Antutu, I would prefer actually Efficiency mode for longer battery life, will play with kernel adiutor i guess
default DPI is 440 btw.
very smooth on my Mi4S, no problems with keyboard. I think there should be a pack of gapps from opengapps that works correctly, includes Google App.
As usual, no fingerprint sensor support
Tested on Mi4c 2/16 . Everything stable and snappy , Ambinet Dislplay works wonderfully , major problem for me is that i don't have sim data connection (Vodafone GR)

Νο... this is a common problem with mi4c nougat roms ... i will try it again. Also this rom doesnt have CM theme engine.

select it manually in SIM cards settings, it's mentioned in OP, if still having problems remove all APN and add appropriate one for your carrier
I can confirm some bug founded by @BlackXhorneT,
And I'm found another bug (maybe only me),
-Calendar app force closes,
-And in setting > display, I can to turn on everything like ambient display etc, and after closing setting app (by pressing back button), and retry open display setting, some options come back to off again by itself. But ambient display etc still work.
Another bug. When you make a system profile and you go to select to changepreferred network type it says cyanogenmod settings stop and it goes back to the settings menu.....
Very important(for me) to have a profile for home for the road for the car etc......

yes, it's system bug, i reproduced it, actually quite a lot settings crash, not even worth reporting
as for Google calendar, i use business calendar which works fine

I think it's just a little bit bug fix and security patch update. After update, Android security patch level has changed to November 1.
Probably fix the dirty cow.

What about the problem with the laser focus reported by some users. Is that still present?
Installing the patch caused my device to brick, the device restarted and now it shows "error" with red exclamation mark.
The device was not rooted or bootloader unlocked.
Use pccompanion to repair your phone.
Security it's for november but what else? Sony don't show any changelog

tried that but it's not working, as soon as i connect the device to a charger or a pc, it keeps rebooting indefinitely and returning to the error screen.
I found someone else reporting the same problem in a very old thread with Xperia Z and the fix was to replace the motherboard.
This is my 1st non-nexus device and i'm starting to really regret it.
Use Androxyde's FlashTool to repair your phone.

When repairing the phone, you have to connect it in flash mode. And i gueds you have installed flash mode drivers already.

How can i enter this "flash mode"? are you referring to recovery or fastboot mode?
The problem is if i connect it to a charger or to pc, it keeps indefinitely rebooting.

Hold volume down button as you plug it in, and until it starts to flash.
After this update Sony Style Cover Touch SCTF10 has much better touch. Now touch works almost every time with Sony Style Cover Touch SCTF10 on.
Double tap to wake and double tap to sleep works every time.
And UI and Android are smooter and a little faster although that wasn't problem before update.

I don't see it on my SCTF10 still the same touch problem. Maybe gloves mode can help it ??
Where can I download this new firmware? And how to install it (my xz is rooted, bootloader unlocked and androplus-kernel v4 and twrp installed)?

Has anyone checked the camera quality? Does oversharpening still exist?

I am experiencing the double tap to wake issue on both 213 and 250 on my F8332. Double tap to sleep works perfectly. Too bad this 3.30 still does not fix the issue. Anyone else experiencing double tap to wake problem on 3.30?
This preview of the Oreo build is updated with the March 2018 security patches. It is Android Oreo, version 8.1. If you want to use this, keep in mind that this is a development preview! It is not the final release. There are also a few things to note about using it.
It requires you to be bootloader unlocked (unlocking wipes your phone)
This update will wipe your phone even if you're already unlocked
You will not get any OTAs while on this build
VoLTE and WiFi Calling might not work
No CTS, so Android Pay/Pokemon Go may not work
May be some undocumented bugs
If you're fine with all of that, then the download link can be found on Razer's developer page about the update.
If you want to go back to the stock Nougat images, just follow the instructions here.

Look up a video of Oreo on a Pixel. It looks exactly the same.
No default white theme like normal Oreo same default theme as nougat.
Screen now has a colour option which can be set to show more vibrant colours.
Double tap to sleep (only on lockscreen)
Speakers seem louder than before.
And all the normal Oreo stuff
Also Pokémon go does work.

Color options and more power for the speakers are both great news. Much excited.
I'm tinkering with GSIs and I've realised you can go into Download Mode by tapping the Power button several times as soon as the Razer logo pops up (before the orange 'tampered' message appears).

It did the same thing to me when I flashed stock nougat to fix boot loop. Remove and reinstall the Sim card. That worked for me.
Anyone having Bluetooth mic issues on this preview?
Just got a new BT headset with a built in mic and it ain't working. Just thought I'd check in here before returning it.
I went back to Nougat but did anyone else notice the screen colours go between vibrant and normal all the time? noticed it on the lockscreen, Keyboard and quick toggles but it only seemed to happen with colourful stuff. Default Razer wallpaper, Coloured keyboard and theme applied etc
Yes @Roxas598 I did notice the colors change from vibrant to normal a lot. And I've been watching Netflix on it lately as well and have been watching the second season of a series of unfortunate events and the whole show has been looking darker than it should, making it hard to watch even with brightness all the way up.

I already reported the issue but wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. Thanks!
My Fitbit is not being recognised at all, and my bluetooth mic on my new headphones doesn't work. So it looks like there are some issues with Bluetooth which I'll revert to stock to resolve. Not bad so far, but obviously being close to stock means it doesn't feel much different to 7.1, certainly not enough that you get that excited buzz we once got back when Android revisions were massively different.
