I suggest No One to try this CM 13 ROM..I have tried to install it multiple times & Everytime my A6000 was stuck at bootloop...
I was using Mokee ROM (Lollipo 5.1.1) & wiped Dalvik,Cache,System & data & installed Cm 13 & gapps 5.1.1 successfully..But When I boot up,it is stuck at Lenovo Logo Screen (Bootscreen) .I have waited for more than 15 minutes to bootup ,but it didn't happen..
So I request you to proceed with caution & do not install it..Wait for the second version or other marshmallow ROMs

Flash the stock lollipop firmware which was 1 gb in size from Twrp. Just copy it into your Sd and flash it directly.

You guys need to flash the stock lollipop, then flash CM12.1 and then CM 13. Worked for me. Try it yourself.
For few days ,I have tried to unbrick my A6000 with No Luck.So I have to visit the Service Center & they replaced the Motherboard to fix my phone.I doubt a "wrong boot partition Restore" have caused the issue. What's your thoughts on that?

1. Flash MIUI 6.6.10 or 5.6.11 using Fastboot/MiRecovery
2. Flash TWRP
3. Flash CM13 + GApps
Resurrection Remix by quanganh2627
What is NOT working:GPS, FM radio, Autorotation
What is working:Other like Wi-Fi, OTG, baseband and etc.
How to install it:Step 0:
Bootloader unlock is required for every custom rom. You can use this tool for unlock:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-Fin8UxrD6PWTZtR2VXX0dxcU0/view?usp=sharing
Step 1:
You should download files for flashing:
File with RR rom (Resurrection-Remix-LP-v5.5.8-20151024-a500cg.zip):
beta7.1
NOTE: RR builds for Zenfone 5 are compatible with Zenfone 6!
IMPORTANT: Do not forget to flash Xposed with RR Beta7.1. This way many issues (lags, memory bugs) will be solved.
OpenGapps: Download from Google Drive
XPOSED v78 : Download from Google Drive
ADB v1.0.32: Download from Google Drive
TWRP 2.8.7.0 recovery by quanganh2627 (new Decmber build): Download from Google Drive
Step 2:
1) Unpack archive with ADB and put TWRP image there.
2) Copy file with rom and gapps to internal/external memory of your phone.
3) Then you should reboot your phone in the droidboot mode. (turn off you gadget then press Turn off button and volume + button)
Then go to the ADB folder and hold Shift + Right Mouse button and write this command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery new-zen5-reco.img
Then you should reboot your phone in the recovery mode. (turn off you gadget then press Turn off button and volume - button)
Step 3:
Then you phone will reboot in the recovery. In the recovery you should instal two packages: Resurrection-Remix-LP-v5.5.7-20151012-a500cg.zip and gapps-L-x86-20150816-signed.zip.
NOTE: FlashResurrection-Remix-LP-v5.5.7-20151012-a500cg.zip file first.
Step 4:
After flashing, you should format (not wipe) data and cache in the TWRP.
Then you should reboot to system.
Bug reporting:Attach logcat and detailed describe the issue. Send this to quanganh2627:

To fix camera, you should open build.a600cg.prop and copy all stuff from this file to build.prop file.
And what's wrong with camera? Mine works fine on 5.5.7 kernel 6.6

Need help with Xposed. I've got boot loop with x86 sdk22 v74. Xposed for lollipop doesn't flash framework itself.
Okay, seems, the problem with Xposed is solved by flashing XPOSED X86 SDK22 v75 to 6.6 RT BETA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=63396458#post63396458
some observations on beta with 6.5-6.6 kernels:
- touch freeze after call (system is still up, you can use your hard buttons to practice bringing volume panel and power menu up. by6the way, when I discussed xposed workability on zenfone 6 in my pms, one man mentioned he had same behavior within twrp recovery if flash zenfone 5 twrp on zenfone 6. IDK if this is in any way connected (anyway, we are flashing native zenfone 5 rom and recovery, so, everything is possible), but posting it here for devs, maybe it will bring them some ideas
- 6.6 kernel: burst mode on zenfone camera doesn't work. it starts working normally, but never stops and nothing saves. 6.5 seems works fine.
- Xanwars kernel v2(fixed lags) doesn't start second sim... Taking into account there is no raise in performance for me on this kernel (have no chance to test touch freezes after call due to a not working sim2) even though it allows overclock up to 2.2 and all the governors and schedulers are here.. Staying with beta 6.7 and 6.5 kernel
will update this. it's not a bug report with logcat yet as far as there is nobody here who develops for zenfone 6. yet, I hope.
ROM OS Version:*5.1.1 Lollipop
ROM Kernel:*Linux 3.10.20
Im still using beta6.6 without flashing x anwar kernel, i haven't encounter any lags and freezes, after first boot, reboot the device to twrp and try to install xposed v65,73,74 but it failed and finally succesfully installed on v75, so i think the best way after installing RR is to reboot the device 5 times after the first boot of installing RR. Then use it in 12 hours without installing anything like xposed, then observe and monitor on the performance.

You don't have touch freezes after call on 6.6?
What about burst mode on asus camera? Does it work on your phone?
Which AnTuTu score do you get on 6.6?
Max what I saw on any kernel was 28900
Btw, dpi change on 6.2 kernel gives me boot loop. 6.7&6.5 both work fine.
I haven't experience freezing on calls, both incoming and outgoing calls, btw I have unlocked my bootloader from downgrading to Jellybean firmware and use the official unlocker tool from Asus.
My asus camera is working, burst mode is also working, After my first boot of RR, i have copy the a600cg build prod to both a501cg and the file build prop which i believe for a500cg, I also asked my friend, to share the media_profiles.xml from stock lollipop, and then i push it to system/etc and set permission to octal.
I have not try to flash the kernel from 6.2.
My antutu score when i was on 6.5 is 20k while after dirty flashing 6.6 it gave me 27k without flashing any kernel
My antutu score on beta6.6 without flashing any kernel
nice rom, so much faster i love it !!! recommend
my deepsleep not working at 6.7 i using 6.5 kernel and will try another

I have not ever had any issues with deep sleep on any kernel and with no tricks or hacks. I believe it's because of some hick ups in old data or cache.

So, you do believe most of the bugs come from the not completely proper bootloader unlock? If you know more details, that would be great if you can share, it's interesting.

In my own experience, I think that the best way to unlock the bootloader on our device is by using the official unlocker from Asus. Im always checking the forum here regarding RR, and i've noticed that the most mentioned topic is the screen freezes, which doesn't happen to me. Most of the users unlocked their BL from stock LP by flashing the dnx and ifwi files. And those users suffered from a massive lags and freezes. I have installed cm12.1 before i move to RR. When i was on cyanogenmod, i didn't experience any freezing issue. Due to my curiosity, i tried to downgrade to JB, then manual update to KK with bridge update then upgrade to LP. From stock LP, i flashed dnx and ifwi to unlock my Bootloader, then flashed cm12.1. After my first boot, im exploring my new installed rom, then suddenly my screen got frozen.

Do you think it will help for those, who have their bootloader unlocked unofficially, to lock it again and unlock with asus unlock?
I think it might be helpful for those devices that suffered from lags and freezes. Although it's a long process, but why not gave it a shot then, we all came this far.
beta 6.8 boots well http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63457490&postcount=1918 on zenfone 6
first observations:
- no vibro (but this is common) -fixed the build from 24.10
- dpi change goes in some strange way: it works, but at starting apps point gets boot loop. anyway, you can break the loop forcing power off with hardware button at this point and bring it back to boot, which goes normally this way and never gets into the loop again after.
..still testing, got it in the night..
kloroform said:
thank you, downloading the ROM now, but my question is how stable is the ROM is now? Can I use all the ASUS apps with this ROM, the asus camera app mainly. Is it possible?
And can I come back to asus stock rom if I wish? I already made a backup, but a youtube channel guy on youtube told me few weeks back that it depends on the rom, he was talking about some odex-deodex thing. And if my ROM is odexed it wont boot even if I restore my stock rom backup on the same phone?

The rom is stable just as it is for zenfone 5. I'm using it after stock lollipop as a daily driver with hard use.
I don't know about every asus rom, but the developer includes the most usable asus apps in the rom. Remember, it's the resurrection rom for asus zenfone specifically?
The camera works fine. For me a burst mode doesn't work, but other people say it works well. I'd recommend to unlock bootloader with asus stock unlock tool in order to have less bugs.
From what I know you should go with dirty flash (no wipes before the flash process) over LP stock. See complete procedure in op.
If your rom is just stock with no modifications to the system, then it should flash fine from what I know.
But anyway, you do it all at your own risk, as always.

thanks for answering my questions.
yes I have unlocked bootloader but not with the Asus's official tool. So, shall I use that tool to lock the bootloader again and then use Asus's unlock tool?

I'd like to help you, man, but I know nothing about bootloader unlock nuances on zenfone. Everything I know, I said: my burst mode on asus camera doesn't work and I have screen freezes with kernels older, than 6.2, and a man in this thread, you can check previous posts, has no these issues and he (and many others) believes it has connection to the bootloader unlock method.
Just be careful and make your decision, as playing with a bootloader lock/unlock with different tools could be dangerous. Remember, I know nothing about this.

Hello, I'm using default one. Everything is ok with it for me, besides known bugs which are still here: screen freezes, gps, no screen rotation.
MIUI 8 GLOBAL BETA 6.8.11 reported for DOOGEE DG700
Requirements:
Stock 4.4 KK firmware installed on the phone
Custom recovery
A working brain ... and some patience!
Credits:
All credits go to team ARGN for crossporting MTK6592 to MTK6582 and updating their ported rom here
Me for porting from Gionee M2 to DG700
Feautures:
Cross ported from the latest MIUI8 xiaomi.eu release for Redmi Note. (credits go to team ARGN)
DG700 rom uses as base TEAM ARGN crossports from MTK6592 to MTK6582.
Working: dual sim 3g (using dual sim control apk), wifi, bluetooth, gps, camara, sdcard, and everything else.
No chiness apps
All gapps preinstalled as system apps.
Enhanced camera pics quality (must be enabled in camera settings).
Repartitioned internal storage to 6G, custom carliv touch recovery (using stock kk firmware in the downloads at the end of the post).
Xposed and xposed modules working.
Many more ...
Known bugs:
Theme apk SOMETIMES FC's, but themes are working.
NVRAMWARNING wifi bug, easilly fixable (search xda or google for fix), wifi works just ok even with the NVRAMWARINING bug.
Battery capacity will be shown only at 3100mah, even so battery life is far more superior than the actual R25 lollipop firmware for DG700. (I get about 3 days with wifi / data on, moderate usage of the phone on the current MIUI8 based on kk rom)
Custom recovery CTR touch NOT WORKING. USE HARDWARE KEYS!
Installing
Download DG700_MIUI8_beta_global_6.8.11.zip (link at the end of the post), copy it on the sd card.
Download Stock R14 firmware linked at the end of the post (the attached build INCLUDES CTR custom recovery and repartitioned internal storage to 6G), unzip the archive and flash it with sp flash tools.
After flashing R14 go directly to recovery, DO NOT BOOT into android.
Once in recovery take the following steps:
1. Wipe and Format Options > Clean to Install a new rom ... wait for the recovery to wipe system, data, go back to the main menu
2. Install zip > Choose zip from storage/sdcard1 > browse for DG700_MIUI8_beta_global_6.8.11.zip and select it, install and wait for the installer to finish, go back to the main menu
3. Reboot system now, when asked to install su / root phone, select NO! (if you want to root the phone later you can install Chainfire SU binaries from the recovery, and than SU app from the market)
Wait for the rom to load, for the first time it will take some time ... be patient.
If you are not on stock KK THIS WILL NOT WORK! After flashing R14 firmware you will loose the IMEI's. Follow the guide frome here to restore the IMEI's:IMEI REPAIR / RESTORE /BACKUP
Customizing ... well ... the sky is the limit ... I use Plak to remove titles from the hotseat / launcher icons (as you cans see in the attached screenshots) and MIUI Tweaks for status bar (notification bar) customization ...
IF ALL GOES WELL or IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY PROBELMS PLEASE POST BACK!
If this post helped you hit the Thanks button!
ENJOY!

You will need to use spflash tool and the stock rom attached in my first post in order to install (flash) kitkat. Search google or xda for a tutorial on how to use spflash tool.
Have in mind that this is an advanced process and many things might go wrong if you don't have experience with flashing the whole android on your phone.
I think that at some point even doogee had a tutorial at their site showing how to upgrade from kitkat to lollipop (see here: http://www.doogee.cc/download.php?ProId=41). It is the same process only you need to format the whole phone before flashing and instead of flashing lp use kk images and scatter attached by me. If you're not sure what you are doing do some research first ... there are lots of great tutorials on the net for spflashtools and mtk6582 phone. Also have in mind that for some newer DG700 models it is impossible to flash kitkat because of some drivers issues ... or so it was stated on the 4pda.ru dg700 thread.
Hey @tvladan,
thanks a lot for this thread!!!
My experience and feedback:
All went smooth until I booted with the Miui installed. Because the IMEI problem I was not able to log into android (use than play store) nor Miui and the system would not let me go any further until I could by magic.
IMEI
I could not log in (system need unique phone ID such IMEI) so I needed to get the apks and move/save on the sdcard to be installed.
I could not restore the IMEI with MTK which was suggesting a reset in order to fix it and I had no clue how to reset (not reboot).
Mobile uncle. I made a IMEI backup but even if the app was restoring without problem, it really did not do anything also after rebooting
Chameleon: the only app that did something although not permanent. I'm working to fix it
Nvram error: fixed with no issue as on this thread
MIUI: it is definitively a nice designed UI although the one I personally do not prefer. It is flexible if you want to do things as developers allow you which is on my opinion sometime to strick if we consider we all are looking for a rooted phone and than we are bond by the UI. For sure there are some features that are useful as were some I really appreciate from the stock ROM. One example: I agree that moving app to the SD card might slow down the system and use more battery but now that I've achieved a 6GB rom I'm using all of it for the app and just marginal cache/data will be saved on the SD....
@tvladan: If I'd like to try only the KK rom without the MIUI and avoid the IMEI problem, are the following steps correct:
1) restore LP with TWRP
2) install stock R14 KK
3) install your KK with 6gb partition
If this is correct, in all this writing and overwriting, is there any chance I'll flash the recovery TWRP?
In case it will happen, can I use the one as by this thread by @NaturalBornCamper
thanks and enjoy your DG700
ciao

Yes you can install stock kk but not using the steps you posted. You can not restore it via twrp, you must flash it with spflash tools (using format mode, kk or lp, as you please) BUT you will still loose imei's. This happens because of the format method used by spflash tools, in most MTK phones, that erases all the internal partitions of the phone.
Regarding LP, there is a latest firmware (official) by dooge - R25 that has the internal memory repartitioned to 5.5Gb. I would recommand installing that and than rooting (if needed) via twrp using chainfire binaries. You can download the R25 from here: https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_UWiyCZx5s1Z2xxZTRYTE9OcGc&export=download. The thread by NaturalBornCamper is old, deprecated and useless now. That was in the beggining when we did not have a custom recovery or the knowledge on how to root / repartition the DG700 phone.
Regarding lost IMEIS i RECOMMAND the MAUI 3G METHOD to restore them for our phone presented here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/unite-2/general/guide-repair-imei-invalid-micromax-t3048984 It needs a little more work, but once the correct drivers are installed it should work no matter what! (It also has a video tutorial, with some patience and little knowledge you should succeed in properly restoring the IMEI's). In your situation, whatever rom / firmware you will flash now using spflsh tools it will NOT restore the imei's because the nvram was formated.
Good Luck!
LE: To sum it up, to have the latest LP, repartitioned and rooted you will have to follow these steps (and have some knowledge on how to use spflash tools)
1. Flash R25 using spflashtools in format mode.
2. Start up the phone, wait to boot into android (just wait, it will take a while because it will encrypt the data partition). Setup the phone, fix imei's using maui 3g tool methond posted above. At this point you should have a "re-partitioned", unrooted, on stock recovery phone with the proper IMEI's
3. Download the latest chainfire su binaries from here: https://download.chainfire.eu/696/supersu/ and copy the zip to sd card. (UPDATE-supersu-v...... link)
4. Flash TWRP using spflashtools in download mode.
5. DO NOT START ANDROID, Reboot the phone in recovery mode witch should be now twrp that you just flashed before. If you start up android it is possible and very likely that it will restore the stock recovery, but if restarting in twrp first it will override the restoring of the stock recovery forever.
6. Flash the update-supersu-file via twrp
7. Reboot the phone in andorid (if asked by twrp to root, select NO), go to the market, instal chainfire supersu apk, and voila you are now on the latest LP (witch is repartitioned), custom twrp recovery and rooted.
if you need the link to twrp only pls post back I'll upload it somewhere for you!
ciao @tvladan,
thanks for your reply.
Quick question: as I did back up the LP with TWRP including NVRAM, if I restore it will it be permanent? I read the thread you suggested about IMEI/NVRAM but if this work it is a straight shot
I'd like to try the R25 LP and KK. Did you tried both? KK apparently was better compared to the LP up to R24.
Thanks

LP moves a little slower than kk. Nothing to worry about. Regarding battery life there is a 12 -24 hours difference from lp to kk, kk lasting longer. If you install xposed framework on lp it will move a LOT slower. If you do not need xposed I recommend R25 LP. Also I have no knowledge of TWRP being able to backup nvarm. I might be wrong. All you can do is try different methods until you succeed. It is a devious and annoying process but when you get it right you'll be satisfied. Also after lots of hours fking around with this phone I really stand by the steps posted in my previous post as to how to repartition / root / repair imeis the fastest way!

About #4), flash TWRP. I have used the one posted by @NaturalBornCamper on his thread on step 11
If the TWRP for KK is different please post
I'm working on R25
Next fun step, R14
Thanks
It is the same twrp, works on kk and lp. You have the right one. For r25 it does not matter on what you are now, the spflashtool needs to format all the phone in order to install r25.
Thanks and good to know.
Now I'm getting curious about NVRAM/IMEI and TWRP...
TWRP can make backup of NVRAM and I did before installing the KK with MIUI8.
If I understood correctly IMEI information is stored in the NVRAM so, theoretically, if I restore the first back up of the NVRAM I should restore also the IMEI?!?!?!
how can I check the difference between a temporary IMEI installation like with chamelephone from a permanent solution?
ciao

Unfortunately it is not possible to restore lolipop over kitkat or opposite because of the big differences in partition tables used by each of them. So the only way to restore a nandroid image is to flash stock with spflash tools with format, install the custom recovery and than restore the recovery backup.

Guys I recently bricked my phone and I flashed an older version(build no says v002).
After flashing via spflash the phone did came back to life but when power off or reboot,
very often it gets stuck in boot loop to recovery mode only(but when in recovery mode, there's no recovery there's busted Android symbol with a exclamation mark).
What I wanted to know is if I flash this rom via spflash will there be issue of the phone booting into recovery and possibly fix the no busted Android issue?
And does vote work well with this rom?
And spflashable says v10 but tarp says v4
Where is download link for rom
I recently flashed this ROM with SP tool, after boot I'm facing a problem: location app asking for permission, therefore, i provided all permission but still the app pop every time and ask for permissions. Please help!
I installed it in clpdn3 lite everything is working smoothly. Suddenly the speaker and earphone jack stopped working. Please help. How to solve this?

MAD TWRP doesn't support to flash any other roms.
Use this : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120733720 ( it is 3.1.0-1 )
3.1.0 has old mount points - for old roms
3.1.1 has new mount points - for new roms
Also, AFH is little slow to generate mirrors - wait for it.

DEVELOPMENT OF CUSTOM ROMS FOR YU YUNICORN STOPPED DUE TO LACK OF KERNEL SOURCES
Warning: This may not work for the MM version of Yunicorn. Because YU had sent patches in the updates. So try this and if it doesn't work, do some porting yourself .
Hey guys this thread is for TWRP for YU Yunicorn, the most popular custom recovery is now available for YU Yunicorn
Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and backup the current system, which are often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted to be installed.
TWRP is helpful in flashing custom ROMs and do a nandroid backup and now available for Yunicorn.
Click to show steps of flashing TWRP in YU Yunicorn
First make sure you have installed proper drivers on your PC, then follow the flashing procedure.
1. Download and extract SP Flash Tool and the recovery.zip on your PC.
2. Open and run flash tool.exe as administrator.
3. Click on the scatter loading button and select the scatter file from the recovery folder.
4. Click on download button and connect your smartphone to PC via USB cable and wait for the flashing process it will take 20-30 seconds.
Note: Switch off your smartphone before connecting to your PC then connect and do not interrupt the flashing process.
5. Boot into recovery by pressing VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER button.
Now, you have successfully installed TWRP on your mobile.
Download SP Flash Tool form here.
In some cases you are not able to see TWRP after booting into recovery. You have to flash the recovery twice when you face this problem.

Did you tried flashing the recovery twice ? By twice I mean, after flashing the recovery, press the download button again in SP Tool and let the recovery to flash again, do not boot your phone in either recovery or system between the two times flashing procedure. Try again.
Hey, if you want to fix invalid IMEI, nothing is working on Marshmallow, even if you root your device and edit IMEI by any of the Root apps like Chamelephon MobileUncle Tools it will give a wierd IMEI like 40#[email protected]. The only way to fix IMEI is to flash lollipop ROM again by SP Flash tool. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2MZMs2kUcOZeXd6dkdTc0M5TEk/view. This is download link for LP stock ROM, thanks to Ayushmaan Thakur who extracted this. After flashing LP root using TWRP or Kingroot app both will work then use Chamelephon to change IMEI, you can also use Engineer Mode for changing IMEI if Chamelephon isn't working. Then update to Marshmallow.

For your info, it is the latest stable version, newer version aren't working smoothly and takes more time to boot into recovery.

Are you using Marshmallow version. If yes then you will surely having this problem. Because every Yunicorn user is having this problem,
Temparory fix- try clearing battery cache and dalvik then reboot, then do a complete discharge and then let it attain its maximum battery percent after that do a complete discharge again, then again let it attain the maximum battery percent. Do this 4-5 times, and your phone will be charging 100% again.
Permanent fix- you have to flash lollipop version, as it is stable.
No there is no source code released by YU, and no stable custom ROMs are available, Note that the stock ROM isn't stable, how custom ROM be stable.

Have you flashed it correctly? Are you using latest version of SP Flash tool? Make sure that there is no corrupt file. Note that this recovery is tested many times. Which type of brick it is? I am reposting the link, try again then.
