Looks really cool, but I'd be afraid of tiny little splinters...
I dig it. Wonder how grippy it is.
I have oedered this combo, when it aerives i will upload some pictures.
With all those curves, etc it looks like installation would be very difficult.
Certainly looks beautiful, though.
Wow that looks sexy. Curious if it makes the phone slippery.

Toast is laser cut and handcrafted from sustainably grown, North American hardwoods. Every cover is sanded, beveled and treated to 3 coats of a hand rubbed finish. Rest assured, they are splinterproof.

Our woods our super grippy, especially with the scorelines we laser etch into the edges, enabling the wood to fully wrap the device.

Installation is easy. We even offer a "butterfingers" replacement if you mess it up.... that's how rare it happens. We'll have an install video for the 6P up by the weekend, so stay tuned.

Quite the contrary; Toast adds much needed grip, especially with the scorelines we laser etch into the edges, enabling the wood to fully wrap the device.

Wish I could hook it up, but we're pretty tight on discounts due to the lack of profit margin on our product. We do not outsource and there's a lot that go into these bad boys.

I like the look of this. How good is the protection with both the back and front piece? How does the back and front piece stay connected when the phone is inserted? Just saw install video.
It is a skin. I had one on my nexus 6 and where the little cuts are on the corners started peeling up. It made the skin have a little edge that got caught on my clothes. I ended up peeling it all off and going with a wood Dbrand skin
Wow, looks great! I want to have that for my phone too <3
I wonder how stable it is, since the cover is made of thin wood.
I am looking at the bamboo ebony combo, and would like a vertical "nexus" etched in it in the same location and with the same font as on the phone itself. Is that possible?
If so, I definitely think that I'll pull the trigger. Should look slicker than my metal dBrand.
I want the leather!!!!! Although that dark wood/light camera visor looks nice!
Just saw the installation video, please note that your screen skin covers the proximity sensor.

It's strange, but I can find this accessory in all of these websites other than HTC's official store.
Who has this case?
Is it really an official HTC accessory?
Can somebody post some pictures of it?
What are your thoughts on this case?
Lastly, is the micro-USB port big enough so the OEM cable can connect fully?
Thanks to everybody!
Here are some retailer pictures, but I'm hoping somebody actually has the case and can take some up-close pictures with it on

Errr... these are nothing like the OEM HTC case I bought the other week!
I got mine from a local phone shop (phones4u).
The proper part/model number is HTC TP C620 TPU.

I had it, sold it. Not a bad case, just not for me.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
So, that's an older picture of the case. It fits perfectly, ports are perfectly open, protects really well.
THE PROBLEM with the white is that it gets dirty. My case is sort of a dingy not pristine white anymore, so I'll probably look at getting a darker case next time.
I don't have any pics of the back, unfortunately. But it is a really nice TPU case.
My new favorite case! I'll post pics of the phone in the actual case when I get home lol...
Everyone talks about this in reference to screen protectors, but thread after thread, I have no idea what it means. So, what is it?

Idk either

It means it is not smooth but has a dimply texture like an orange. Sometimes zagg invisible shields get accused of having this but it is far less dramatic than the texture of an oranges skin.

Its what you get when you use a zagg type screen protector. Heres an example:

See how it looks somewhat like an orange peel?
Mainly wet apply screen protectors have this type of issue. Some do, some don't. This is why I prefer dry apply ones, the better ones give more of a glass like feel.

From what folks on here have posted, the more recent "Zagg HD" versions of the Zagg protectors have much less orange peel effect. But I can't say personally, as I haven't tried them.
Bodyguardz and Skinomi typically have less orange peel than at least the "older" version Zagg, and are great protectors.
Some can't stand the orange peel effect, and one of the main reasons for not using a protector. But for many people, its not very noticeable (especially once the screen is on), particularly with the brands I've mentioned, and depending on the light.

Oh, whoops. I thought it was XDA slang or something
Although for what it's worth, I picked up a Zagg HD sort of hastily (found some very very tiny scratches on my screen and panicked) and applied it. "Orange peel" is noticeable with the screen off if you're looking for it, but compared to the iPhone 4s/Galaxy S2 in the above photo, it's very minimal. Protector feels just like glass.
Also, I think I'll start calling it "lemon peel" to throw people off

I thought it was a skin condition that most middle age women develop on their hind quarters - also called the golf ball effect.....
So Zaggs, have the peel, I did not know that.
I can steer clear of them by a country mile.
For $20, I had guys in kiosk apply my ghost armor little less then a month ago now almost.
I like the fact if it comes off or gets destroyed, they slap another one for $5, as long as you have the original piece left, whether front or rear halves.
Clear an smooth is the only way to roll for me, sorry if this sounds like an endorsement, it's not, just overly happy with GA.

care to explain thoughts on why?
I'd love to see the stock Google case but instead of the micro fiber, have that insert as a nice soft leather. Tempted to try it myself. Costly case to hack apart though.
I ran Toast on my G3 and it was awesome looking and had very good grip. Upon removal, it was HORRIBLE. Took forever just to get it off and then you have the adhesive to deal with. Heat and alcohol did make any difference. I mean, I'm glad it's that sticky, but after 30min and not getting far I just decided to order a new back for it. No plans on a repeat on my N6P.

I was surprised too, always saw lots of positive things about them and their product is really top notch. But if it's that huge of a PITA to remove, I don't want to deal with that. G3 backs are cheap, but not sure about the 6p's.

i have used toast skins on 3 different phones. They do stick very well , sometimes it comes down to the material of the device. While some surfaces can be more difficult than others, at no time did i feel like anything was too difficult or would cause damage. I have removed all 3 skins without issue. Just take your time and use some slight heat if necessary.

I totally agree, Toast wouldn't sell them if they all were a PITA to get off. I think mine was just cursed, but still scared to use it again.
It felt unique to use the phone with it, one of the better feeling options without added bulk.

I bought two glass screens from Wish for $4 plus $1 shipping. Pretty good deal, glass feels smooth and went on easy. It's not rounded glass edges though. ?

hmm, I'm wondering wouldn't the edges be uncomfortable to touch?

Yeah, but I don't know why you'd purposely touch the edges. Considering our screen doesn't go that far.

CEOCASE Slim & Light Leather Sleeve
If you're like me, needing only light protection for when the device is pocketed and prefer the feel of the naked device while handling it, CEOCASE makes a leather sleeve that should fit the Mi 5.
Unbranded

These pouches can be had for as little as $6.64, but are typically sold for $8. The generic sizes appear to be S:140x80mm, M:150x85mm, L:155x85mm, XL:160x90mm, XXL:168x98mm. These are the outer dimensions of the case, not sizes they fit. One AliExpress seller, girls, is big on these and offer more sizes. I'll try to get in touch with them about the dimensions of the sleeves listed here.
Brand's homepage: http://www.ceocase.com/search?&q=Mi
The answer recieved was written in somewhat cryptic English, but it sounds like they're all 155x85mm.
Hi guys, I would like to know what is the best skin for the G5 that also covers the side? I checked dbrand and it seems they only have front and back skins. Is there a high quality phone skin manufacturer that also covers the side area of the G5?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
i have a vinyl plotter so i can make you a custom one.I've slowly been working on making my own for my phone.
I bought one from slickwraps as I usually do when I order skins (usually because I have a discount code from previous orders).
I've always found them to be great quality and perfect fit on all devices I've tried.
Ill upload pics when I get it (hopefully tomorrow)

How much would you charge for a custom one, if be very interested in one. I love the shape and feel of the phone so I prefer skins over cases. And a custom option would be sick

IDK, like $5-10? i'm not trying to compete with Dbrand here lol, was just designing one for myself anyways.
What color are you looking for? i'm currently using matte black for mine.

Haha no problem. Hopefully mine will arrive today and I'll get some pics up later
Hi all. My Slickwraps arrived today and I've attached a good few pics. As usual it is a perfect fit all round and simple enough to apply (always use a hairdryer on curved surfaces to 'shrink' the material into the curve).
Just want to state that I am not affiliated with Slickwraps in any way, nor have I been asked to review. I am simply a happy customer of a few years and want to share my experiences.

Looks awesome. Thank You!
Im seeking for a black piano sticker for the front bottom of the phone... Just to cover that LG logo area.

Dbrand has always been my go-to option and they've been perfectly cut, but seeing that Slickwraps skin, I'll be giving that a go for sure since that also covers the sides.
Skinit has some good skins as well
I got from Xtremeskins, Dark Oak
it's only £5 (+£2 for additional accents) and free shipping if you are in the UK!
You even get spares for the borders' stickers!
The fit is almost perfect, the back skin leaves a little naked metal wear the chin separates, but i'm ok with it! (I didn't want to stretch neither...)
It looks like a metal band separating the main body and the chin.
Using a spigen clear hybrid case on, the fit is very tight, sadly a bit of the right side skin got a bit peeled (it's okay since i have spares hehe)...
but all in all, super satisfied, quite realistic wood appearance and texture.
Was hesitating between Dark oak and Walnut, I'd love to have the Walnut skin too haha.
Will post more photos later today.
I ordered black leather from xtremeskins as well, to go with my case but the skin that goes around the camera lens blocked the wide angle camera on the edges. Did you try it? Did you get the same result?
Is there any skin for Cam Plus module?

We're seeing a huge influx of their customers lately.
Anyone have problems with wide camera after applied skin camera stick?Look top left and bottom corner...I have this skin.
Anyone know know where I can get sinks in my geo area - either from UK or Ireland, I don't want to wait weeks for it to come from the US.
edit: If I actually read the post 2 posts back I would have gotten my answer !
