Onesafe password manager - General Questions and Answers

Hello
Does anyone use this app? It appears to be miles behind the ios version. It's a shame that the company dont feel the need to keep up with their other variants. .

Emoji for android "colored system wide"

This may seem silly but Why not I want to address it since i never seen it addressed here before...... I been on xda for years I think since the 2.3 days and is amazing how much android has evolved and gotten better, beautiful, faster, than what it used to be before...... We have the most amazing DEVS you guys are super smart and creative from most of the roms I used from back in the old HTC DAYS to the galaxy 2,3,4 I seen every type of customization that I didn't even think it was possible..... But till this day we lack the full support for EMOJI, I know I'm going to hear it from most of you that they are not important or relevant etc,etc,etc...... But in my opinion alot of people still get iphones just for the simple reason of system wide emoji support and group chats....... I also know we could get apps like gosms pro or handscent etc that will support colored emoji in sms but not system wide, I also know if the phone is rooted we could have full system support for emoji in black and white...... But Cmon we have a galaxy 4, HTC ONE beautiful 1080p Displays we don't want to be looking at white n black emoji lol...... Now my question is I AM NO DEVELOPER reason why I am asking...... Why can't we have full colored emoji support ? Does android not let DEVS have suport for it ? No way around it ???? Just interested and looking for opinions.............
Btw if this is in the wrong section can a MOD MOVE IT TO THE CORRECT place............ Thanks for all the help in advanced..........

Hi,
I read this article regarding Google Hangout SMS integration and I hope (and I pray) that will let the colored smiley used in this app be used as well with Android system.
http://www.theverge.com/2013/5/16/4336910/google-sms-integration-coming-hangouts
Feel free to read and browse articles related to this upcoming revolution of smiley in Android devices.
Cheers!

Sorry to bump but I totally agree with you
Maybe we can simply change the "" to a png picture that has the emoji picture in it (this would have to be in the system font stuff)
Idk I am not a dev but this would be awesome, my sister almost got an iPhone just because of emojis but Untold here that it's not worth it and succeed with getting her a galaxy s3 ( last year )
I will take a look at this even though I don't know what I'm doing lol
Agree bump

We recently added an emoji screen to Magic Keyboard 2... it uses the font support for emoji rather than images.
Part of the problem is that it's hard to know whether the recipient is going to be able to read them (we get a lot of questions related to that) - I reckon once most phones/fonts support emoji you'll see them popping up on lots of devices and apps.

REQUEST ..iMesaage hack

Anyone have a way for us rooted blokes to get an imessage hack? Many people I know have iPhone and it would rock if I could have that functionality. I know the old app mimicked an iPad mini for it to work any ideas ?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
no idea how that would work at imessage isn't an open source app and goes through apples servers to work which means it would need some kind of ID
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The previous app that was in the Google play and you can actually still search it basically spoofed the servers into thinking it was an iPad mini and. It worked

I'll would be interested in seeing something like this as well.

Did you actually use it or was that what you heard? This sounds like a really cool concept.

There is an application out there for android that is supposed to do all that but you need an apple ID and password and it goes through some servers in China before going to apple so I'm not sure it would be worth it.
You can read about it here:
http://mobile.theverge.com/2013/9/24/4765240/imessage-chat-for-android-spoof-app
That app looks really, and I mean REALLY, sketch but it's a cool idea. Maybe someone on xda could try it out?

Honestly, it would be irresponsible to share it. I remember when it was doing the rounds, and it did actually work but it sent every IM, sent AND received, to and from a server in China. The privacy concerns are obviously high, not just for the Android user but primarily for the unaware iOS user.
I don't think that kind of thing should be encouraged on XDA.

Yeah, that app also had the ability to download apps in the background. There was a some saying that since it went through that server in China, it could have have the possibility to steal data from Apple IDs. Like credit card numbers. Its a shame, because it did work pretty good. Hopefully since Hangouts is on iOS now, maybe someday they'll be nice and bring iMessage to us.
Another solution would be to convert everyone to android so iMessgae would become irrelevant.

This sucks how can we not get this figured
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
The download apps in the background comment was a joke, but what's funny is its taken for truth so easily.
I very much doubt 'Fu Manchu' set this up to steal apple apps lol.
Don't matter to me which bunch of snoops read my ever so interesting messages, China USA whatever

Change dpi on stock unrooted

Hello i just want to share an article i ran into which allows you to change the DPI on the s7 without having to root.. ? i take no credit just sharing in case some one wanted to change their dpi.
http://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-dpi-scaling-setting-680736/
It worked! Awesome find ?

Great find, thanks for sharing.
Not as good as having xposed and changing dpi per app, but this is great until root is achieved. Thanks.

Just curious, do you use Android Pay over Samsung Pay by choice, or is your cardholder not yet supported?

Users

Good afternoon xda users. Does the tmobile note 5 firmware have an option to add users to the phone like international roms do? My little girl always wants to use my phone and I would like to create her own user account so she can have her own place to install her games. Please let me know. I would like to use the tmobile official firmware but I don't see any options. Thanks guys.

Re: most secure and streamlined ROM experience

Re: most secure and streamlined ROM experience
Hey guys I am trying to get the most secure ROM like as Google as possible, where I can lockdown firewall and app permissions as well as data. I've looked at Lineage and Havok with microG has anyone have any good or bad experiences with these. I still would like to use Google play but not at the sacrifice of privacy.

Stock isn't secure not with Google keeping tabs on everything you come in contact with.

Oh, if you're talking secure away from Google, you are little too late, Google already have all your information stored in a safe place, so tinfoil hat won't help.
Past I am talking about future, it's never too late to start keeping back your information from company's simply because they already had it years ago. It's like saying you should allow an ex girlfriend into your room anytime she wants because she knows how big your ***** is.

I'm not expert but wouldn't paranoid Android be what you want?
