Cant flash Stock firmware. FAIL. Very bad battery life - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
my S6 has a very bad battery life.
S5 from my mother:
Last Charge before 2d 18h and still 40% left while wifi, gps, Bluetooth, Facebook and WhatsApp is always on.
My S6:
Last Charge before 10h while Bluetooth and wifi is off.
Only WhatsApp a few times but I greenified that app.
Im on wanamlite odex and arter97 kernel without any mods like xposed. (tried many other ROM´s)
Bootloader: G920FXXU3COI9
Baseband: G920FXXU3COI9
Newset Stock ROM from vodafone germany : G920FXXU2QOH8
I think because of my bootloader Odin says Fail while flashing stock ROM.
Is the only solution to wait till vodafone Releases a newer ROM and send it back then?
Because I cant send it back while it´s not possible to Flash stock Firmware. Dont think that they will repair it then-

[Q] What Model do I have, SM-G920F oder SM-G920I?

Dear Friends,
I recently flashed XtreStoLite Deodexed Mod Edition for my phone. Before that I didn't bother which Model I have.
Now I can see several entries in the settings. Some, like Phone Model say SM-G920I while the Baseband information says it's a SM-G920F?
The Phone isn't working properly. I have massive battery drain and the 4G connection is quite unstable and choppy. I figured that might be due to the Modem. I want to flash the right modem now but I am confused about which version to flash (F or I)
I haven't changed the BL or Modem yet and it says it's F Version)
Thanks for your help
Thomas
If your baseband reads as 920F and you have never flash BL via odin before, it is a 920F. XtreSto latest rom is based on 920i so thats why it shows that in model number. You can refer to XtreSto post 3 for latest baseband and model version for 920F. I suggest you download wakelock detector or betterbatterystat to find out whats draining your battery.

G920F Weirdness Firmware

Hello,
Just bought a topaz blue unlocked S6. I think it came from an Asian country. The phone arrived perfectly with plastic in box with the same IMEI as phone. However it was rooted with SU. I went into the app and clicked to remove root. It was on 5.0.2. They I tried to flash original firmware with Smart Switch with no success.
I used odin to flash stock 5.1.1 firmware from the UK. The firmware was for 920F. It went all good. I have LTE, SMS and phonecalls. However, sometimes the baseband appears as unknown, but I still can make calls and have LTE. And it still shows the same IMEI as it is on the box and it has always shown it. Is there a way to fix this? Now, I try to flash stock firmware with Smart Switch and it says it can't initialize.
I would REALLY appreciate help. I would love to be able to flash stock firmware from Smart Switch.
I'm in México with Telcel, which uses the same bands as AT&T.
P.S. I really searched and couldn't find anything on my specific situation.
That happened to me when I was still on 5.0.2 and flashed only the 5.1.1 modem. I would suggest downloading the modem.tar file and flash that. Should all be good after that.
I'm currently downloading G920FXXU1AOD4 BTU firmware to flash it with Odin. Might that help me better? My main goal is to be 100% stock without any weirdness. And having Smart Switch recognize my phone!
Well, I'm sad.

You cannot downgrade to 5.0.2 from 5.1.1. Your bootloader will not support. I have the issue with 3G connection. Where to get the Modem.tar?

Looking to update firmware through odin..

im looking to update my S6 SM-G920F Baseband: G920FXXU2COH2. (not original, but i screwed up and was left with this one)

Question about going back to stock

Been on Xtrestolite for months now and at first it was great, but the battery drains quickly now, can't answer phone calls and fast charging doesn't work (works on other devices).
Basically, I want to use this thread to go back to stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/stock-firmware-official-stock-firmware-t3086387
The MM update for T-mobile is coming out soon so I am interested in the stock version of that (so my phone calls work).
My question is basically that I updated the modem and the bootloader to the Xrestolite ROM and the ROM thinks my phone is an S6 edge (just a regular S6).
If I use ODIN to flash stock on my device, does it also flash the stock modem and bootloader for my cell phone provider as well? (USA T-Mo.)
Are there any additional steps I need to do to go back to the stock modem/bootloader/anything else? Will I be able to update to MM OTA?

g900p activation problem

when i insert sim its show ctivating device and stuck on their i wait 24 hour but still on activation device when i remove sim phone works fine wifi and playing games all fine when i use custom firmware it will be ok but i want offical firmware thnx any solution plz share
are you flashing the official firmware from sammobile? are you doing so in Odin? if so, its likely a radio issue that can be solved by Odin flashing a good copy of the firmware. Ive been getting my tar.md5s from idoneapps.com for a few mos now. Theyre always solid and fast. Go grab the OK4 tarball and flash it in odin, i bet youll be good to go.
