[Completed] USB Debugging device unathorized - XDA Assist

Hey guys,
got a massive problem: When connected to both my PC and Surface Pro 2, I cannot get the RSA popup working on my Nexus 5 (Mashmallow) when using ADB. The device just gets listed as unauthorized, no matter what I do. I tried with Minimal ADB and Fastboot, Nexus Root Toolkit, official ADB, Google ADB drivers, Universal and Naked.
Is there anything I overlooked? I also disabled driver signature on Windows 10, to make sure it's not an issue with the ADB drivers.
MTP, charging only and PTP all won't get the RSA popup working, so I just cannot authorize the device for USB debugging.
HALP!!!!

Mod Edit
This is not a Q&A forum. It is more to guide new users to the best place on the site for their problem .
Please read the OPENING THREAD and the Second one , too.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.

[Q] Phone not recognized by computer

Alright, here goes my first post. I have lingered in these forums for awhile, and have always found what I needed. This is the first time my searching on here, as well as google, has let me down.
To clarify, if I connect to my computer and have USB Mass Storage on, I can see it, move files to it and everything. My problem is, I am using my old phone (P500) to learn and practice ADB (I own a GNEX), and would like to install CWM via ADB, but I need to move files to the root of my sd.. but my phone won't show up if it's in debugging mode!
I have the drivers installed, and used a toolkit to root (worked fine, no errors). Am I missing something here or is there another issue?
Info:
Windows 7 64bit
Telus Mobility (Canada)
Model: LG-P500h
Android 2.3.3 (stock)
stock kernel

Since the device is not getting detected with USB Debugging enabled it's safe to assume a bad driver installation. To verify tho, enable USB Debugging on the device and connect it to your PC. Go to Device Manager. Somewhere towards the top, assuming the drivers were installed will be a device "ADB Interface" with a subitem "Android Platform Sooner Single ADB Interface" or something similiar. If the "ADB Interface" item isn't there then the drivers weren't installed correctly. Uninstall them. Reboot computer. Rerun driver installation program. When it finished, reboot your PC. Power off the device. Connect it to your PC. Power on the device and let all drivers install. You should be good to go from here.
If you'd like a good known set of LGE USB drivers, download Android Flash Recovery, link is in my signature. Hope this helps.

[Q] ADB Installer Issue - USB Connection

Hello, another question in quick succession.
I have used the installer featured in this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979 - to install all the necessary drivers so I can connect my phone through USB and hopefully install Android 5.1 onto my phone.
I went through every step in the topic and ADB Composite Device appear listed. My phone is also definitely connected as I check for 'adb devices' in command prompt. However, when connected in fastboot mode, it still asks to Connect to USB Device. USB Debugging has been enable on my device, also.
Help would be much appreciated! I'm new to this so it's a teensy bit of a rigmarole.
Could really do with help here, I'm stalling on it and it's bugging me - wanna get it sorted.

[Completed] [Resolved] [LG VS930] Unable to get ADB commands to work

Alright, I've tried installing the drivers from Verizion and also using the drivers from the Android SDK and either way I have the same problem. ADB devices shows my phone, however whenever I try to push, pull, or reboot (the only commands I have any use for atm) the command prompt hangs like it's trying to access the device but no matter how long I leave it the device will not reboot, nor will any files appear in the correct folders on either the device or my computer.
I'm trying to root this thing and this is a pretty major roadblock.
Note:
USB Debugging enabled
ADB drivers installed
Phone shows up on "adb devices"
Also, I don't know if this is normal but, In order to get the notification that "USB debugging connecting" I have to use the internet connection option on the phone. When using MTP, Charge only and PTP that message doesn't appear and I don't see an ADB device show up in device man.
Thanks!

Please Help! Nexus 4 shattered screen

Hello Helpers, I shattered my Nexus 4 screen, and the phone has a Pin lock, and is currently in Airplane Mode with BlueTooth enabled. It does Not have USB debugging enabled.
My objective is just to pull out the video, audio, and pictures files, after which I would throw the phone away. I appreciate any feedback, or if someone can help me post a reply to "k.janku1" at the post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786395 Please refer to point (4) below.
So is there a way I can enabled USB debugging or pull my files out? Following are what I have done, and none are successful in accessing the phone:
1) I have an OTG cable with a mouse. Nexus 4 would not recognize it. I did try to have this OTG Cable + Mouse plug into another Motorola phone and it worked, just not Nexus 4.
2) I plug my Nexus 4 into the PC through the USB cable, the Windows 10 recognize it but when I try to browse that Nexus 4, no files show up.
3) I installed the Android Studio 2.2.2, with various SDK (5.0 and 5.1 SDK) + Google USB driver. And then proceed to run the ADB "shell" or "devices" command located in folder "platform-tools", and the command line would tell me -- "error: no devices/emulators found", or "List of Devices attached" but with NO list of devices displayed. I even boot into Recovery Mode and the ADB command still not seeing any phone.
4) I even try the post here, and I could not get it working either -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786395
i) I tried the steps listed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66731042&postcount=260 but it does not work for me. The step (2) here returned me "No devices", while step (3) is sort of confusing as it involves TWRP (??) and it said BootLoader would erase all my data files!
ii) Another post here in the same thread -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=62398797#post62398797 which mentions the use of "Flash through ADB". But then my phone does not have USB Debugging enabled, so how can ADB talk to the phone in the 1st place? And compile his codes in Android Studio perhaps?
iii) Another post of same thread -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=61792353#post61792353 which is lengthy and involves self-custom kernel + compile using Kernel Kitchen. Would this really work?
Thanks
Sean
I had the same of your situation i search and tried a lot of things even show the phone screen in pc but me too i didn't have usb debugging enabled, so what i did is :
Flash the stock ROM for my phone by Odin (it don't need usb Debugging enabled it is for Samsung phones) and by flashing new ROM all your files will be stay in the internal storage, after that the files will be showed in the PC, i don't know if u try that before so that is my solution

Thank you for the hint. But I doubt if this approach would work for Nexus 4. I searched online for Odin + Samsung, seems like Samsung phone has a Download mode where the phone would accept the new image file put to it. There is no such mode for Nexus 4, so the phone would not read anything in easy steps like Download mode.

Question Issues with ADB [solved]

Hi,
I'm having some issues connecting my tab s7 FE through ADB. Everything is setup correctly on the computer's side of things my xiaomi phones shows up when running "adb devices" in cmd.
I've enabled developer mode and turned on usb debugging.
I don't get a prompt to "trust computer".
I tried to revoke previous authorizations and disabling adb timeout.
Somehow usb debugging isn't displayed in the status bar, is that a thing in android 12?
Is there some weird extra step to enabling usb debugging on this device?
Surely I'm missing something obvious here, but the problem seems to be device specific and finding an answer with such a broad topic narrowed to a specific device is proving to be difficult.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: SOLUTION
Samsung needs a specific driver for usb debugging, you can get it here:
https://developer.samsung.com/android-usb-driver
Guess I didn't do proper research, hopefully this can help someone else.
