i have flashed TWRP in my moto x (xt1052) through windriod universal toolkit v 2.4 and unlocked my bootloader since then i'm unable to reboot normally. every time I had to go fastbootmode and then select 1st option normal powerup and then phone is booting. tryed every thing downgraded to 4.4.4 from 5.1. again received ota but failed due to booting not working. pls help me
Hi,
Downgrading a moto x is a dangerous endeavor, and can brick your device. The bootloader cannot be downgraded safely and if you do..... Taking an OTA after can brick your device.
I'm not sure what steps you took to downgrade, but you can review the opening post in this thread to see if you did it how they suggest.... And you can ask for help here too... http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/moto-x-qa/guide-faq-how-to-downgrade-5-1-to-4-4-4-t3182118
Good luck!

Hey guys,
So, I have a Moto G which was first on a standard retail stock, but I tried to install a new ROM, so first I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it, and then when I tried to install CVM or TWRP instead of a normal recovery, it failed and when I tried to launch iit into recovery mode, the fastboot menu showed "boot up failed" in the logs.
So then I used MotoTools to install the GPE edition, it worked but then SIM card wasn't recognized, so I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219 to reinstall the stock ROM and now I am stuck in bootloop with the GPE edition.
If anyone could help me, I would be really grateful.
Edit : Sorry for the lack of information at first, this Moto G is a 4g LTE so I could try something with a SD card, I tried also RSD Lite but it doesn't recognize my phone now.
Yesterday I attempted to flash a stock ROM on my Moto G. I don't have much experience and something went wrong and I'm currently unable to boot up my Moto G. When the phone powers up it goes straight to the Boot Mode Selection Menu and when I select Normal Powerup it says "boot up failed". I have TWRP on my Moto G and I've attempted to sideload Stock ROM through TWRP, but that did not work. I've attempted to flash stock ROM a couple times, but still no progress. Is there anything I can do?

It's a Moto G XT1032.
That's the first gen Moto G. This forum is for the 2nd Gen.
This is the forum you should visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g
Good luck =)
Let me explain my problem clearly----
I followed instructions mentioned on this thread completely and successfully installed 5.0
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/guide-install-5-0-t2964274
After that I rooted it.
After that i restarted and saw that "Unlocked Bootloader" message was still there. It was annoying.
So this is the step that i did wrong and i accept it. :crying: I flashed the boot.img file of moto g gpe xt1032 just to get Google Symbol at Boot
It went into Boot Loop and continuous restarts and directly getting into recovery.
I solved the restarting problem by reflashing the 4.4.4 Stock Retail Brazil Firmware and skipping the motoboot.img and boot.img files this time. But.......
And Now I'm stuck at boot image!!
Although I still have access to Bootloader and ADB Recovery.
Any Help to resolve this situation will be deeply appreciated!!
I'm ready to install any ROM with dual sim functionality.
Thanks in Advance!!
Hey all.
I started with a regular moto g XT1032 (sim free Irish bought), and followed this guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/gpe-ota-lrx21z-5-0-1-xt1033-xt1032-t2969847 to convert to GPE and install lolllipop.
After following the steps, the phone reboots and it stays on the Google boot logo with an unlocked padlock. When I boot into fastboot and look at the screen, it says "hab check failed for boot" in pink.
I have tried flashing CWM via MotoToolAIO and installing ROMs but that won't work either.
I seemed to have bricked the phone and I can't actually boot into android.
Could I get some help please? Thank you
I usually have the same problem when swapping between GPE and non-GPE, try this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2626803
Somehow i managed to fully reset my device leaving no os and my device stuck in a ' unlocked bootloader' bootloop. I opened up twrp and tried to push a rom through adb to my phone but when installing the rom it failed to mount/data etc. I was told i could sideload a rom via twrp to my phone and after this was done it asked to reboot the device and now i am stuck in a bootloop of the teamwin logo! If anyone could provide me with support tonight id be extremely greatful.
Hi,
Your best option would be restoring the stock firmware. Here's a guide on that. Read the first post carefully and ask any questions here,

2013 model I assumed?
