[Q] May have bricked my phone? GPE 4.4.4 - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all.
I started with a regular moto g XT1032 (sim free Irish bought), and followed this guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/gpe-ota-lrx21z-5-0-1-xt1033-xt1032-t2969847 to convert to GPE and install lolllipop.
After following the steps, the phone reboots and it stays on the Google boot logo with an unlocked padlock. When I boot into fastboot and look at the screen, it says "hab check failed for boot" in pink.
I have tried flashing CWM via MotoToolAIO and installing ROMs but that won't work either.
I seemed to have bricked the phone and I can't actually boot into android.
Could I get some help please? Thank you

I usually have the same problem when swapping between GPE and non-GPE, try this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2626803

[Q] Moto G GPE Bootloop

Hey guys,
So, I have a Moto G which was first on a standard retail stock, but I tried to install a new ROM, so first I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it, and then when I tried to install CVM or TWRP instead of a normal recovery, it failed and when I tried to launch iit into recovery mode, the fastboot menu showed "boot up failed" in the logs.
So then I used MotoTools to install the GPE edition, it worked but then SIM card wasn't recognized, so I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219 to reinstall the stock ROM and now I am stuck in bootloop with the GPE edition.
If anyone could help me, I would be really grateful.
Edit : Sorry for the lack of information at first, this Moto G is a 4g LTE so I could try something with a SD card, I tried also RSD Lite but it doesn't recognize my phone now.

[Q] I'm stuck at Boot image after upgrading to Brazil OTA 5.0 on XT1033 MOTO G

Let me explain my problem clearly----
I followed instructions mentioned on this thread completely and successfully installed 5.0
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/guide-install-5-0-t2964274
After that I rooted it.
After that i restarted and saw that "Unlocked Bootloader" message was still there. It was annoying.
So this is the step that i did wrong and i accept it. :crying: I flashed the boot.img file of moto g gpe xt1032 just to get Google Symbol at Boot
It went into Boot Loop and continuous restarts and directly getting into recovery.
I solved the restarting problem by reflashing the 4.4.4 Stock Retail Brazil Firmware and skipping the motoboot.img and boot.img files this time. But.......
And Now I'm stuck at boot image!!
Although I still have access to Bootloader and ADB Recovery.
Any Help to resolve this situation will be deeply appreciated!!
I'm ready to install any ROM with dual sim functionality.
Thanks in Advance!!

[q] moto g | boot loop and can't access recovery and adb not working

Hi, My moto g (XT1032) was previously running Lollipop 5.02 with a custom kernel. Also using TWRP.
I was trying out a new kernel and rom, I backed up my phone before I did all this so I went ahead and tried to install CM12 this failed so I recovered from the back up and now I am stuck in a bootloop and can not access recovery.
As soon as I try to access recovery the TWRP splash screen appears but then boots normally!!
ADB is not recognising the device whether I use Moto adb drivers or universal ones!
Really need help, would greatly be appreciated!
(Just trying fast boot, will update if no success)

I think you ****ed up
ADB commands only work in recovery or when the phone has fully booted the OS.
Have you tried to flash your phone's stock 4.4.4 ROM? Do not flash anything older.

moto g first gen won't boot even after flashing stock ROM

Hello XDA !,
So my friend's moto g 1st gen stopped booting up one fine day ,and got stuck the at the starting screen where there's the "Motorola" logo and underneath it is written "powered by android" , the phone was bootloader locked and untooted , he took it to some scammy repairer and he unlocked the boot loader and trued to install a custom recovery ,but it all didn't work out ,and the phone is now boot loader unlocked (status code 3) and still stuck at the Motorola logo screen and just stays there,I tried flashing the stock ROM from lost101's thread , It had the lollipop boot loader so I was aware if not flashing the KitKat one even by mistake ,so I flashed the lollipop ROM ,but since I didn't knew which version he had previously so I went with the 2nd to the most recent one which was present XT1033_FALCON_ASIA_DS_5.1_LPB23.13-56_cid7[B/] since I considered it as a safe bet ,but to my surprise the first flashing command of "mfastboot flash gpt.bin" returned as "preflash validation failed ,remote failure" ,but when I looked at the phone it was written there in yellow lines "version downgraded for partition" and it said the same for flashing boot "version downgraded for boot" , the other files were flashed successfully ,but the device didn't boot!!...even after that ,please help me with a solution, I'd be grateful
