Haptic Feedback on soft keys - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

Yesterday I used my Note 5 a lot. I have it set that once the battery gets to 20% power saving mode kicks in. It got down to 14% and I switched on Extreme Power saving, then turned it off. Now I get to haptic feedback (vibration) from the soft keys- i.e.: Back Button and Recent Apps. I have gone to settings and turned vibration on and off. Power saving is not turned on. Is there anywhere else to look?
Thanks

Searched & found my own answer. Had to turn power saving mode ON and change to immediately, then turn it OFF and the vibration started working again.

Hi, Im kinda having tue opposite problem here. Im trying to turn OFF the hepatic. I got this thing on monday and have been enjoying it,but now with everything coming through my speakers is using the hepatic feature. Ive turned off the vibrations, and trying to relax to music before I go to bed is near impossible right now because everything that gets sung comes with vibs. Very annoying. Ive turned off all hepatic and vibrations, but i cant get it to stop. Even have the intensity turned down to nothing. Any ideaa out there?!? Please, this is driving me crazy.

Alarm doesn't go off when in sleep mode

Hi, I've seen this problem in other places, but no answer to it yet:
I've always used my phone as my alarm, but I get an unexpected sleep-in this morning when the alarm didn't go off! I've just tested it, and putting the phone to "sleep" by pressing the power button seems to prevent the alarm from going off.
If I don't press the power button (which I started doing as it locks the keypad really easily), the screen never goes off. I guess that's just a setting.
Will try again for tomorrow morning, without putting sleep on. But is this a bug or a "feature", anyone know?

Nope. Mine is working perfectly even in "Sleep Mode".

mine works fine too.
as for the fact that the screen never goes off, that can be adjusted if you go to settings/ power and/or settings/ system/ backlight/.
What software do you have installed?
I used to use PocketZenPhone, however it was mucking up the alarms.
Clean your notification queue is the other thing. Pocket Mechanic is good for this.
Well it woke me up this morning - but it still doesn't work if I lock the keys by single-pressing the power button. It does work with the red end-call key to lock the phone after a long key press. Less usable, but some mornings I just have to wake up!

I have no specific configuration. I set my alarm for the 5 working days with sound and vibration, press the power button, and no problems at all.
Ensure that you set the right time, example: morning instead of afternoon.
Play a bit to become familiar with it.

I just started experiencing that my phone wont go into sleep mode after pressing the power button. I can hold it down and pop up menu to turn off shows, and bring it out of sleep after the 15 sec delay i have set up but thats it any ideas?
The only issue I have is when the phone goes to sleep wifi turns off and the captivate starts charging data to my plan. Does this happen to anyone else and if so is there a known cure?
I had my phone not go to sleep at set timeout one time. It may have been due to an app i installed. I rebooted and no problem since.
As for using data when asleep - Wifi turns off when the phone goes to sleep mode - this is the way it behaves, same as iPhone and other android phones. You have some app connecting in the background, maybe email sync?
You can keep the wifi on during sleep by going into the Settings-> Wireless and Network -> Wi-Fi Settings. Press the menu button in Wi-Fi settings press on "Advanced".
In there is an option called Wi-Fi sleep policy. Switch that to Never and you shouldn't have to worry about the wifi turning off when in sleep mode.

Captivate Shutting Down Instead of Sleeping
Mine is doing this too, as are a few others, from the look of some posts on here. Mine started after a day and a half and two full charges. Suddenly I would go to wake it up and it will have turned off.
I'm thinking I might take it back to the store to exchange it, as not everyone is experiencing this problem. Sucky. I did notice that the battery, after you take the door off, is a little wiggly on the side opposite the connectors. I wedged some thin paper in the between the battery and the battery slot and it still did it. Got to be a problem with the individual phone.
Total PITA!!
I had problems with mine shutting off while in sleep mode and I uninstalled SetCpu and my task killer and it stopped doing it....

[Q] Nexus 5 wont turn on - constantly on Google logo for few seconds

Hi,
Hope you guys can help.
I've had my Nexus 5 phone for 16 months now - generally worked great. Occasionally it dies and wont power up, but tends to be fine once you leave it charged for 10 minutes and give it a go a few times.
However, now, it wont boot up at all. It has a mind of its own of turning on and off every few seconds, and then just staying on the Google logo before switching off again.
Very occasionally it gets to the 4 circles but again shut offs after a few seconds.
I've read a few threads that suggest pressing Vol button and power on button. I've tried that and get to the android robot screen, but it switches off like 1 second after, so im unable to select any options.
Any ideas very welcome?
When I have connected to a charger, it constantly boots up and switches off the google logo after couple of seconds all by itself.
but if not connected to a charger, then it remains off unless I press power button or give it a little knock.
Thanks a lot
I had the same problem and what I found is that it is a power button that is stuck. What I did to get the phone back on is to continuous press the power button until the phone fully finishes booting. After that it should be OK, if not a good smack to s table can also help, no joke. I set my volume button to power on screen and use an on screen button to turn of because its hit or miss with the power button for me. Thought about getting it fixed but have no time.

They say the motherbord is broken because of overload, because the rooting..... I have ordered a new powerbutton from Ebay, and will try to replace it if this solution doesn't work.
Can this be true, that the motherboard got broken because a rooted the phone?? I have never did anything else that rooting......

verizon galaxy s3 screen won't shut off after any event triggers it on

when my phone screen lights up to notify me of some kind of event text/phone call/whatever it wont shut off. once its triggered it doesnt shut off until i manually press the power button to shut it off. it will stay on all night. i will go to bed, wake up, find that i missed a message or something from like an hour after i fall asleep and 8 hours later the screen will still be on. i've gone through all my settings and cant find a fix. i've done my best to search online and cant find any fix. i've even done factory resets but nothing helps. it immediately does the same thing. very frustrating. any suggestions or help you could offer would be most appreciated.

vibration not working?? - nevermind, sorted

I have noticed overthe last few days that I am no longer getting any vibration notifications when I receive emails. I WAS getting them but now I get nothing. Phone is definitely in vibrate mode and the vibration intensity is on maximum, it just isnt vibrating at all. I have rebooted, installed AQDD, turned sound/vibration on and off several times in the last few days but i get nothing. haptic feedback DOES work, it is vibrating on keypresses and hard press on the home button so it is capable of vibrating, it isnt like the vibrator is broken.
Edit: ok nevermind, apparently when BlueMail brought over its settings after updating, it decided to forget about the vibration setting!
