I faced the same issue once. I rebooted and till now I didn't see the problem again

Having the same problem !!
I'm having the same issue, it's off by 1 minute to up to more than day. I'm using custom DPI (420) and Cataclysm ROM with Elementalx 6.04. Reboots don't fix it, but when I dirty flash the rom it becomes for sometime (a few hours) until it goes back to a different time again
Me too have the same problem after Android update. I have not changed anything else.. Is it solved for you desaics?
Same issue here. consistently the error is occurring. I am in India and the network is Airtel. Had to fix the time manually. It is off by 1 and half hours.. Morning, the time displayed on the phone was 4:34am whereas it was actually 5:59am.
Seeing this weird issue post upgrade to Marshmallow.
Is there a fix for this problem ??
Solution
The battery optimiser option causes the bug here.
Go to Settings > Battery > Options (3 dots) > Battery Optimization > All apps > Clock > Don't optimize.
Hope this solves the problem until the bug is fixed by Google.
I had a widget in home screen which shows world time.
I removed it and I am not seeing the problem for past one week

Hi
My clock app stop working around 8:45PM and also my phone works slow during that period.
everything works well after 4:00 AM ....?
I notice my alarm don't work in between that time and also no time update on any widget or on status bar time..
During that time if i try to install any app from app store than it also not work they will stuck at installing and never
finish that installation process...Also my phone get hotter during that period and it use more battery power
like it use 30% battery in 2 hr
Once it pass 8:45 PM it stay that time on status bar unless you reboot phone and after reboot it works for 5 min
and then again get Frozen to last state...
I have two android device (One X+ , nexus 7 both root and unlocked bootloader and has stock ROM )both device
doing same thing.
I thought it's a malware or virus so I wipe my phone and put custom ROM on it but I still have that Problem in my
phone...?
So it might be any app that cause that problem or something else that trigger at certain time
I am totally confuse how can i solve this problem...?
Any one have that problem ...?
My n5 seems to have the GoogleSearch keep awake for 20hours+. is it normal? being in EST, I was not using device for atleast 10 hours from 10pm yesterday until now.
Attached screenshot. Any one else facing same issue?
real painful bug. I've gotten it once on my n5, twice on my n7 v2, once on my n7 v1 and twice on my n4. ONly my n5 and n7 v2 are on kit kat. the other 2 are on 4.3. Just no rhyme or reason thus far as to why it happens but BBS says it's cacheupdate service or entries refresh wake lock. Only thing to stop it is to restart the device. At first i thought it was a kitkat thing but it's rearing it's ugly head on my n4 and n7 v1.
ive been having the same issue. a temporary fix on my n5 was to force stop google search, but it would inevitably return 3-4 hours later. putting it in airplane mode solved the issue...but obviously i couldn't always keep my n5 in airplane mode.
i literally just reset my phone to see if that helps solve the wake issue with google search. i even tried contacting google nexus support, but they haven't been much help at this time. ill let you know if factory resetting my device has helped at all
So, I am not alone with this problem. Its occurred a couple of days ago, went away, and came back.

No u r not alone. I have it every now and then. I installed Cpu spy so I can see if my phone is sleeping or not. If I have the wake lock it stays on 300mhz when screen is off when it should be sleeping.

Stock krt16s on nexus 4. The problem started with the official factory image (didn't had it with slimkat) and since my device never slept again.... Heeelp

The only consistent way i've seen to clear the entries refresh wakelock is to uninstall the updates from within the Google Search App.
This completely clears the issue rather than a restart which works temporarily so Google has messed up with the last Google Search update (the one that brings extra funcionality to Google Now.
I had the same problem, turned off location reporting in Google Settings and it's gone..

Turning off location reporting never cleared it for me i still needed to uninstall the latest search update.
I had the same issue, so disabling Google now (opening Google now, settings, toggle it off) has stopped this wakelock for me!
Sucks a bit to turn it off, but I'd rather not have the wakelock than have good now info, I'll just wait for an update/fix.

this just happened to me, out of no where. kept my device awake the whole time i was in the shower. i will be testing by disabling google now. i agree, it just isn't worth it to deal with these bugs, i can get weather notifications elsewhere
Just got my N5 yesterday and this is going on, Google search using 45% of my battery by the end of the day. Will try turning it off :-/

same here
I too have the same problem and only restarting the phone fixes it and it just happened to me again an hour back.
I have noticed that sometimes when I remove the charger from the socket after the full charge, the problem comes only after that time....so after charging the phone almost every time I check my battery stats for few seconds and if it persist then I restart the phone and yea it get solved but a temporary solution and its really annoying .......hope google fixes it soon

My Pixel phone (128 GB) has been rebooting 3-4 times a day for the past couple of weeks even when idle.
I tried Google support option on the phone that asked me to enter a number fot callback. Response was within 2 minutes and the support person asked me to reboot the phone on safe mode .. Very good support.
The phone did not reboot so was back to the problem of what actually was causing this. The send feedback about the device (under about phone) has an option to view event logs and system logs that showed a problem with mobiqwik around the time of last reboot. Uninstalled mobiqwik and the phone has not rebooted since!
Hope this helps.

Going to use this to see why my Pixel keeps freezing. How did you know that the app had a problem? What alert did the logs give you?
The app name was in the system logs at the time of the reboot. I did not read the detail as the screen is quite narrow and cannot be copied.

What's mobiqwik?
I get reboots multiple times a day or none for a few days
Makes no difference what I'm doing or what apps I'm running
Did a fill wipe and installed pure nexus ROM and still does it with no apps installed
How did you view the system logs to find out?
I've seen people mention issues with a defective battery connection
Cheers

Anyone know if this option to view event / system logs is still available under Pie? I can't seem to find it.

FYI I found the solution here:
https://developer.android.com/studio/command-line/logcat
Does anyone have a issue where the mobile sometimes performs some operations delayed. Like for example:
1. When I click check for updates in settings menu the menu doesn't popup instantly it pops up after like 30 min.
2. Cannot send messages same issue messages are sent after 30 min.
3. Same thing with Google Play updates, they get downloaded and get stuck on installing(they do get installed after some time like 30-45 min)
I already tried resetting the OS and it worked good for a few days and same issue popped up.
Should I replace the device?
Hello guys,
After i reset app preferences , i saw that under battery settings not showing any app there at all , i know this reset all app preferences as well with battery settings and it need to give permission again , but i did find any app related to battery to give permission.
Any suggestion?
And i can't wipe cache partition,it is not boot to recovery mode
I wipe cache partition and repair app from recovery mode, still same problem
Same this side. Its date related. Change date back to 31 Dec and it works
Exactly my friend, thank for answer,i revert the date to Dec 31 and it shown now all the informations, than i put it back to current date and still working.
Thank you, great
Something weird, when i closed the device care and open it again the informations gone.
So this is mean i should use the previous date always??
If you check the screenshot ,it mention that my phone is charging while it is not
Trying everything, nothing work . I finally decide to do factory reset , and begin from scratch ,everything is ok now. I will never try this bull**** again "reset app preferences "
This must be a bug with the last update to android 11 and one ui 3.
I have the exact same problem.
My battery usage just stopped showing any app usage whatsoever.
As per the suggestion above, if i set the date back to December 31 the app usage shows, and still shows if you switch the date forward again, but as soon as you reboot the phone the app usage no longer show.
Evidently there is a bug that starts with the date change from 2020 to 2021.
Also wether it is related or not, looking through the settings I saw the 'data usage access' for 'device care' was off...i tried toggling it on but it made no difference.

For me,the problem is fix by factory reset , but this was too much annoying to reinstall from scratch
I have just found this thread as confirmation that is is indeed a bug with going from 2020 to 2021

Thank God i am not the only one have this issue since 2021. weird. i hope there is a fix soon.
Finally I found solutions to fix this.. change your date to 31/12/2020.. then open Battery usage.. your will see last year usage.. then change the date current date.. then back to Battery usages.. everything back to normal..
