Hello everyone! Xatik Group is proud to present Droid Draw, the Turtle Graphics remake for Android!

And now on to a quick description.
Draw amazing complex shapes and patterns while learning the basics of programming with Droid Draw! Droid Draw is a twist on the original Turtle Graphics app that uses the LOGO programming language.
Not sure what Turtle Graphics and LOGO programming is? The original Turtle Graphics allowed a user to enter commands which represented what would be drawn out out on a Cartesian plane. Droid Draw brings this same functionality to Android users.
Not sure what to do? Make sure to check out the help section in the app. We have information on how to use the app and what every command does. Also, we are constantly adding to our website with interesting tips and tricks!

FEATURES
Besides just being able to enter commands and create an image, we have added some extra features:
** Animation: You can see where the pen is with the helpful DroidDraw mascot holding your pen.
** Sharing and Import/Export: Create an amazing image? Share it with your friends, set it as a background, or even send it as an email to us and we’ll display it on our website! Want to share how you made the image? Export the script and email that too!
** Refresh: Have some random values in your code? Hit the replay button to generate a new image.
** Zoom/Drag: Is your picture too small or in the wrong area? We have include pinch-to-zoom and dragging capabilities.
** Quick Command Entry: We have created a custom keyboard to make entering commands and values simple.
** Drag and Drop Commands: Put a command in the wrong spot? Simply drag it to where you want!
** Wakelock during Animation: Want to watch the full animation without touching your phone? We now keep the phone awake ONLY during the animation!

Well we've had a few suggestions and we're working hard to implement the updates.
We have found one force close so far when a few invalid commands are entered.
We are hoping to have a new version of the app soon. Thank you everyone for testing!

Droid Draw has been updated with three new features and a bug fix! Get the latest version of Droid Draw (v1.1.0 Beta) on the Play Store!
New Features
Draggable commands: You can now re-position the order commands are run by holding the drag icon on the right and moving the command up or down.
Auto scroll to new command: After you insert a new command, Droid Draw will automatically scroll to the new command
Wakelock during Animation: Frustrated when your phone shut off during an animation? We now keep your phone awake while Droid Draw is animating. Three seconds after Droid Draw is finished, the phone should go to sleep!
Bug Fix
There was a known force close in the keyboard activity if a certain invalid command was entered. We hope to have that fixed now.

It looks like there is a bug for higher resolution devices where no lines draw.
We will be implementing a hotfix hopefully by tonight.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused!

I tried the app, works great on CM9.
Lost half an hour just learning the commands, addictive stuff! Now I know what to do in a bus/train :laugh:
I would like to be able to create my own wallpaper with this. Option to export as image file would be perfect addition!

Hi mikpel,
Sorry for the late reply, I guess I missed the notification.
I will definitely look in to that! As a quick workaround, you can use the share feature. As soon as you click share, a screenshot of the image should be taken.
If you look in: /sdcard/Android/data/com.xatik.app.droiddraw.client/
You should see the screen shot!
I will add this to the suggestion list for sure though to stream line this.

Hello Beta Testers!
This week, ending Friday the 17th, will be the final week of Beta testing for Droid Draw. This will have given everyone two weeks to test out our app and find any issues or suggestions they might have.
Once the Beta testing period has ended, we will shift our focus to fixing the issues found, adding some new features, and prepping the first official version of Droid Draw for release on August 31st.
Some of the issues and features that will be fixed/added for the official release are:
The redraw button on the image page does not work on phones with high resolution screens (ex. Galaxy Nexus), this will be fixed.
Addition of landscape keyboard.
Addition of two new commands. One to set the thickness of the pen and another to set the direction of the pen directly (instead of turning the pen a certain number of degrees from it's current position, you can directly set the pen to a given degree with respect to the screen).
Addition of tutorial pop-ups.
Addition for the ability to save an image as a wallpaper.
Addition for the ability to import/export scripts (ex. to share a script with others).
Addition for the ability to share screenshot with Xatik. We will then go through all of the submissions and put our favorite ones on our website for all to see!
We want this app to be the best it can possibly be, so if you have expierenced any other issues or have any suggestions for Droid Draw, please reply to this thread or go to our contact page and send us a message.

A small update was released a few days ago, we'd love to hear your thoughts on your application! Thanks a lot guys.

Speed everything up, would be my first request. Background loading, such as in notification pull down. More servers for tv data. Not sure if possible, but configurable notifications, and custom calendar events.

Still playing with the app. Swipe left and right to change between menus would be nice.
There seems to be a bug while loading calendar entries. If screen turns off it seems to load forever. Also pops up the load notification again asking you to proceed, though you can see in the background it's still loading.

Reminds me of TV Show Favs, an APP I've been looking for years!! I think you should help him Dev and take down your App.

I disagree. I use his app - it's bloated and the UI sucks. Keep up your good work. You should try to add episode tracking at some point though!

Only small little dislike I have is the widget only displays 1 show that is airing today when there is 2. Lastly customizing the widget font size would be nice also.

Well yeah the UI suck and its bloated a little bit. But you have to admit if these two developers combine together into one it will be a pretty beast app!

Hey guys! First of all thanks a lot for all your support and suggestions. Me and my buddy have been working hard on our new update and we just pushed it to Google Play. Along many improvements, the most noticeable are:
* Major UI and speed improvements.
* Trending shows tab replaced all shows tab.
* Added background updates. Application is no longer blocking.
* Fixed widget design.
* Several bug fixes.

We followed your suggestion and switched from tabs to a pager. Also we added background updates so the application is no longer blocking.

Thank you for your input but we actually started developing this application after using TV Show Favs. We didn't like the need to login to access the application, and we also wanted a Google Calendar synchronization. Those are the main differences between the applications. Also I think that TeeVee has a more "in-your-face" presentation, valuing simplicity and ease of use, but that's a biased opinion I think

TeeVee was made to follow the airtime of the shows where they originally air.
Unfortunately we don't know German, if anyone could help us we'd gladly accept it.

Thank you guys, i tried to let the app look a bit like our loved Play Store.

I have a suggestion, dunno if its easily executable or not but here is what I imagined:
I'm a flashaholic, because since I don't know how to program android, as much as I would love to learn, I like to give back to the community by bug reporting and helping early or newborn roms to grow, (I'm a volunteer guinea pig in other words).
With that in mind it'd be great if the app could have a Rom Development News section where teams like PA, Carbon, CM and etc could update people about new rom developments and releases.
I go through XDA jumping from thread to thread to get that kind of information when I have free time to test new roms or builds and its an extenuating task.
To have it all in one place would simply be AMAZING!!
Also to avoid excess information and clutter integrate a filtering system that filters your updates/RomNews by Phone(s) model (either automatically or manually) and the ability to select your Roms of interest from an list of available devs/teams! I saw a kind of similar feature on the ROM Toolbox app, but it is not updated at all (last time I checked).
I'll leave a pic bellow.
Just a suggestion, unfortunately I don't have the knowledge required or I'd go for it, it'd be my first app!
Nonetheless, loved your app, found it very very useful! Thank you for your hard work!

Hi, do you mean like a own news section for ROMS? Like reading the rss feeds of cyanogenmod, paranoid etc?
I think thats a great idea too!

Fantastic app! However, is it (or could it be made to be) possible to see the sources in the feed items? As it stands, I can see the article titles, preview text, time/date stamps, preview image and comments count, but nothing about where the article actually originated. Otherwise, this is great!

Currently working on an update that brings some new features. I'll post the latest version soon. You can try the current version by downloading them from the links provided by GerManiac.
Suggestions and ideas are always welcome

1. Add Sort by Name
2. Also add section to add notes for exams.
3. Exam date with calendar sync will be great too.
4. Fonts are too big for my screen.
Good app to study. Will help my students a lot. [emoji108]

Update: just tested Bug still there. Coudn't add image from gallery or camera to add questions check image added

The update should be there. I just checked and the link takes me to the updated app.
About the bug, what is the problem? Does the app crash?

Check my last comment updated. Loop on the same saving

I think this update should fix the problem. It might take Amazon some time to process the update, but the file and the Mega link have been updated in the original post. Hope it helps!

Even after update not adding image to the question. If i press ok it shows saving & return back to saving like in a loop.
Only way out is press back to cancel inage add

I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, and I want to thank you for your patience. I just placed another update in the original post (available on Amazon in a while, the mega link and .apk file are updated).
Please let me know if it works

Few Ideas:
1. View mode for questions instead of edit mode every time.
2. Password for answers.
3. Conversion of questions set to pdf.

Good app overall. Getting use to it.

Used your app for taking test on 5 devices. Good Work
They needed option "slide to change question" & answers of full test together. This concept can do wonders in Education. Total digital class test. Need little bit more polishing into the app.

To the developer OP: Take your time to release the improved version. Make it useful thinking of many people using it together. looking forward to the improvements.

Hi, I like the app so far. Yesterday I've purchased your in app features to use the automatic dark theme for night.
But this is one I'm really not happy with. We have here 5 o'clock in the evening. It will be more than three hours till sunset and your app is in night theme.... I was hoping, that you have used the sunrise / sunset time to switch.

Thanks if you will add this. A better idea is to use the sunrisetime / sunset time provided by google location. Do you think, you could have a look at it?
There are some apps out there, which used it. Google maps navigation and Twitter official app are two of them. So there is code for this.

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of Facebook itself - the marketplace is not available on the mobile site at this moment.

Feature request (if you do them), would be for multiple accounts on the same platform (ie two Twitters)

Any chance for having feature requests?
1. The sunrise/sunset thing would be really nice. With google location service not the biggest problem. There is a dev who could help you, if you want to implement this feature
2. Very annoying is to have a side menu in Facebook and a top menu in twitter / Instagram. Having a side menu in all apps would be very nice
3. We could hide the friends suggestions in Facebook. Now Facebook annoys with group suggestions. Any chance to hide them?
With those features Maki could go on top of the Facebook apps. Really like the idea to have FB, Twitter and Instagram in one app. But for now it's "only" the second best solution

2. Probably will do something with that, but in a huge update (probably, this spring).
3. Could you send me a screenshot of it, please? Facebook doesn't show it to me for some reason.

I really appreciate the new update. Thanks! Hopefully you can embed the google location provider thing to make it all automatic.
There's a developer who know how, it should be very simple he said.

Wow, this would be absolutely awesome then.
A don't want to bother you, but.... I've another "idea"....
Do you consider to add the option to use the dark theme for night mode instead of AMOLED theme? (Or to let the user choose his preferred night mode theme)
I found it a bit hard to scroll and look to the screen with the AMOLED theme in the evening.

Going to try it out for first time hope I will love it ..hope i can share feature request too

I selected like and the number increase to 2 but it still show like it supposed to shoe unlike right ??

I went option and clicked recent but nothing happened only blank again i tried to click option but option didn't come seem like a bug can you please check it
