can't download using mobile network

Hello all.
My first post here, even though I have had a lot of benefit from using this forum.
I have just updated my HTC magic with this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552274
and now I canøt connect to the mobile network anymore. Whenever I try to refresh the weather or create my email account, I get the following message: This application requires network access. Enable data connection or Wi-Fi to download data.
I currently do nt have access to a wi-fi network, so what do I do?
FYI I have no problem calling my phone, so I must be connected to the network.

Guess you have to manually set your APN settings. Look for info at your providers homepage.

Zte v975 internet disconected

Hi,
Could someone help me please with my problem?
I have a ZTE V975 , I just bought it and it seems that I cannot acces the internet from the SIM .
In ABOUT it says 2 strange things: Mobile network status disconected service: in service
I have a valid SIM with internet and I am not on wifi.The signal is full and it shows 3g.
Please help me,

Check your APN settings are correct for your mobile network. Settings > Wireless & Networks > More... > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

Google for what they should be for your carrier and input them. Or find a friend on the same network and copy their settings. Or telephone your network provider and ask them.

Can't connect Internet through mobile data on Xperia Z3 4.4.4 Kitkat

Someone please help me... Everytime I turn on mobile data, there's no sign of 3g appearing on the signal sign. Couldn't conmect Internet either. Apparently there haven't been many solutions to this problem. I restarted the phone many times, reinsert Sim card, but still didn't work. So... Anyone?

Hi,
Check your APN settings in mobile settings. A google search on APN settings for your carrier can tell you what they should be.
Other than that, I will have your thread moved to your device section.

Try...settings, more (under wireless & network heading), internet settings. That should download APN.

[Completed] Ulefone Be Touch 2, unable to call or text

My SIM card does not work properly in my new phone. Does anyone know which settings I must adjust to call or text with my new phone? Sometimes I am able to call with it, but the coverage is very poor and the message "network unavailable" appears when i move around in my house. Wifi is working correctly. I think it is something in the mobile network settings/access points, but have no clue what to change. Ulefone is not a common brand in the Netherlands, so phone shops were unable to help me. Thanks in advance!

[Completed] how to share a wifi nw if the phone is connected to wifi and we dont kwn the password

sir i had connected to wifi network in my office.our IT head typed the password in my phone.but i need to connect my laptop too.how can i see the password in my phone.my phone is unrooted and one of my friend told there is a option in mi phone that we can share wifi network if the phone is connected to the wifi network.it will generate a qr code which we scan by code scanner and if we go to the scanner history we can see the password.in this there is no need of typing the password again if it is connected to the wifi network.is there any such application in android samsung phones
