Someone please help me... Everytime I turn on mobile data, there's no sign of 3g appearing on the signal sign. Couldn't conmect Internet either. Apparently there haven't been many solutions to this problem. I restarted the phone many times, reinsert Sim card, but still didn't work. So... Anyone?

Hi,
Check your APN settings in mobile settings. A google search on APN settings for your carrier can tell you what they should be.
Other than that, I will have your thread moved to your device section.

Try...settings, more (under wireless & network heading), internet settings. That should download APN.

Hello all.
My first post here, even though I have had a lot of benefit from using this forum.
I have just updated my HTC magic with this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552274
and now I canøt connect to the mobile network anymore. Whenever I try to refresh the weather or create my email account, I get the following message: This application requires network access. Enable data connection or Wi-Fi to download data.
I currently do nt have access to a wi-fi network, so what do I do?
FYI I have no problem calling my phone, so I must be connected to the network.
Hope anyone can help.

Guess you have to manually set your APN settings. Look for info at your providers homepage.

Hi, general question for the forum about the mobile internet on the BOLT: Have you seen issues with internet connectivity (non 4G related) on your Thunderbolts? I almost always have to go into Settings and uncheck, then recheck the "Mobile networks" field b/c i'll go to the web, to the market, to an app and it won't load because the connections fails when i unlock my phone. If it's seen then i guess it's just an issue with Verizon right now, but if this is not happening to you all please let me know b/c i wanna make sure it's not the Bolt itself.

When I am on 3g network no websites open on dolphin and stock browser but on Wi-Fi I don't face this problem. I can access whatsapp, play store and all apps that access the internet on 3g and Wi-Fi. Please guide the solution. I am using Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 gingerbread.
May be u would have enabled the ' use only 2g' option in the settings menu.....

In connection type I have tried auto and WCDMA only. Even if it was GSM only (2g) than would that block websites on browser and allow other apps to access the internet?
Try rebooting your phone or ask for network settings from the carrier network

Try going to your about phone settings, and updating PRL and Profile, it may solve your issue.
An alternative option if you have a recovery available, is to flash your radio/modem. I had terrible 3g connection issues, and that solved it for me.
I found the solution. The proxy setting sent by the service provider was 0.0.0.0 and port 0.Changed both to blank and it worked
I bought a Z3 D6633 and the mobile data is not working. Unlike my other smart phone that I have received the SMS configuration right away from the mobile network so I tried purchasing a new SIM but still it is not working. Will anyone help me out how will my mobile data work? I have enabled the mobile data but I cannot see ay H+ or E showing beside my network signal. How will I be able to activate my mobile data???

Hmm ... usually enabling Mobile Data option in Settings should be enough.
Have you checked your mobile carrier contract? You need a mobile data option included (and enough money on your card, if it's prepaid).
If you can find the APN settings of your provider, you can check those APN settings on your phone manually. Maybe there is something wrong.
If you have a dual SIM device, there are settings to determine, which SIM card to be used for mobile data connections.
Best is to register on xda, and post your question in the Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Just today my SIM data service has stopped working on android device, I tried everything I found on the web but nothing worked, turning on/off of data doesn't show the data connection (H+ sign), but GSM is okay, i can receive texts and calls, my settings for data are all correct 100% sure, APN, roaming set, data set to sim, but still there is no data connection showing..
I know it's possible that the network blocked my sim, because recently my sim got free data connection on any sites (P0 load), including play store, torrents, youtube, etc... Free as in everything.
So pals, is there a way to get my data service work again? Thanks
