Touchscreen not working properly anymore - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
My touchscreen doesn't react to my fingertips anymore. The Pen still gets recognised though.
Does anybody know about this problem?
Thanks in advance and many greetings

Restarting the device actually helped. What a strange behaviour! ?

Mine does this on occasion, a reboot is usually sufficient. The Touchscreen driver crashes sometimes.

Good to know. Thank you!

Screen aligment problem again...

At some times it works fine, at other times, not. It happens with any system like tnt, wm5 and wm6 and it is solved by re-aligning but lately the screen would not even recognized my pen stroke on the alignment process...
Any help??
thanks in advanced!
Forgot to say; I have TNT 20273.1.3.3
Nobody with this problem?
could be a workaround
Hi,
i am using this ROM and this Screen Align problem is not a software issue its hardware issue,
Try to press corner border frame and kept it pressed and then try to see if you can work properly, do this one by one with each corner.
once you identify which side your screen is not fitted properly then you can diagnose further how to correct it.
mine trouble was above to call end button corner. then I unscrew the entire device and re Fix it.
Cheers
Thanks for your accurate reply! Mine is in the same place. I think it´s because there is too much pressure going on there...did you fix it succesfully? Or do you actually change the whole housing?

[Q] Is this problem repairable? Touch Screen stoped responding

Hi, my htc polaris touch screen started acting strange today. Touch screen do not respond or when you touch it it randomly respond with a random command (not the one I intended to) There is no crack or physical damage. Hardware buttons seems to respond correctly. (By the way the picture on the screen is ok, I mean you see what you supposed to see, it just doesn't respond)
Anyone had similar problem? Can you advise me what to do? Thanks

use CalibrationData to fix it
i figured out that by changing sttings/home/theme from htc to windows default, screen started responding. So it looks like a software failure (theme called htc). I am still interested in a better solution.

Can you briefly explain how to use it? (In the meantime I hard reset and I still have this problem)

Wake up problem!

Hello guys!
I have a Samsung Omnia 7, with the latest update (NoDo 7392) installed.
I'm having some problems waking up the phone with the Windows key!
It's not very responsive and won't wake up the phone at all sometimes !
If I reset the phone, it will back to work again.
Anyone facing this same problem ?

hey haranbh,
I have exactly the same problem. I guess it is a hardware problem and thinking about returning my phone.
Strange thing is, I can't reconstruct the problem. Sometimes it is simply there sometimes it isn't.
Right now I've accustomed myself to wake the phone up with the power on/off button.
Would be interesting to see if it is a Omnia7 problem or WP7.
Cheers!
My LG doesn't wake up with the windows key... I don't know how many phones are configured this way... Until reading this post, I would have said none...

Hello !
Well, I don't think it's a hardware problem because a phone reset can solve it !!
Correct me if i'm wrong.
I don't think that Samsung would mess up the most important key on the phone!
Anyway, since the last reset, the problem is gone aparently. Let's see if the Mango update fixes this issue!

[Fixed] Touchscreen not working

Hi everyone,
Got this phone yesterday and all seemed fine but then suddenly the touch screen stopped working. It won't respond to any touches at all, side buttons work though so I was able to shut it down but when you put it back on it's still the same.
Any ideas on where to start fixing this?
Thank you!
Edit:
Don't know why and how but after a couple of hours fiddling around, with constant rebooting, connecting the charger, connecting to pc, rebooting into bootloader it suddenly woke up. Really have no clue what seemed to do the trick.
Anyway, if anyone encounters the same issue try any of the above until it works!

Booting issue. May be drivers.

Good day all, Hope i can get some help soon.
It appears like i have it installed correctly.
Im able to get to the desktop but its black.
I can move the mouse and do a ctrl +ATL and delete but thats it.
I have it to my 65" LCD (hdmi)
Then i change to a small screen (VGA) and it just hangs on the logo.
Im thinking its a driver issue but am pretty new at this.
Thanks in advance.
