Good day all, Hope i can get some help soon.
It appears like i have it installed correctly.
Im able to get to the desktop but its black.
I can move the mouse and do a ctrl +ATL and delete but thats it.
I have it to my 65" LCD (hdmi)
Then i change to a small screen (VGA) and it just hangs on the logo.
Im thinking its a driver issue but am pretty new at this.

Hi everybody!
I'm having problems with my Pocket PC.
It all begun a while ago, when a part of my screen stopped working (didn't respond to touches). So I did a hard reset. Then, it wouldn't pass the Align Screen procedure. So I made a file on the Pocket PC root folder called welcome.not - and it worked, the welcome screen was bypassed.
Now, however, everything on the screen is mirrored. Not the image on the screen but the response to my touches. So when I press the upper right corner with my stylus, it reacts in the lower left - and reverse, across the whole screen.
What I want now is of course a state like before the hard-reset. I can accept a part of the screen not working, but I want something at least to be useable.
I think this would be easily fixed by just running Align Screen, but that doesn't work - it gets stuck in a infinite loop.
Maybe there are some Align Screen "profiles" to place in the windows folder/registry?
I'm using a HP iPAQ 214 Enterprise.

might it be a ROM problem?
Maybe, though I think the problem is that the screen is completely unaligned and therefore is totally wierd.
What I think I need is:
1. An application to browse the PPC registry from a desktop PC
2. Sceen align data to put in in the registry (I've read somewhere else that that data is stored in the registry)
Or, maybe I'm wrong
In case it is a rom problem, can I solve it easily in any way?
well to be honest, the first thing i'd do is switch a ROM... unless it's a ROM you got from XDA and is well-known..
if the rom switching doesn't work, i'd download a pda control app like MyMobiler or SOTI Pocket Controller to fix this. maybe you have hardware problems with your screen..
I don't know where the screen alignment data sits in the registry but i'm sure you can find it on this forum. if you manage to change and it still doesn't work... maybe replac ea screen? there's a marketplace section in which you might be able to buy spare parts.. and there are guide on dismantling so you can replace the screen yourself

Well, I havn't got much knowledge on how to do these things... Could I get a brief explanation?
I know what ROM is and so on... but how to switch it... hmm...
I'm sorry, can't help you with that.. i'm not familiar with the iPaq... but I understand that you never switched a ROM so it's probably the original one.. and you shouldn't have a problem with it.
try aligning your screen using the registry.. if it doesn't work.. i'd go with replacing a screen.
Yeah, I would also like to align the screen using the registry - but how? I need to know some values to input, right? And as far as I know they need to be specific for my model

i was working yesterday and my phone was in my pocket and was squished against my keys! the screen is cracked... but it isn't, i think its the touch censor screen or something as i can see the screen fine just with a crack in the middle... anyway i cant use the screen to touch
i am using wm 6.5 and i accidentlly pressed the lock button in the start menu and cant seem to get passed the wm6.5 slide2unlock screen!
i try'd a soft reset but it is there as soon as it turns on
i dont want to hard reset because i would need to use the screen calibration (plus i havnt backed up my contacts and have some important messages!)
it is really frustrating i try'd deleting the files in the windows directory but it says it is read only and i cant delete it!
and im a bit broke and cant afford a new screen!
could someone please help

I'm no expert in this field, but have tried to sync the phone and unlock it from there? raspberry tru connect is an excellent program and if your d pad still works you should be able to install it and use the mouse cursor to do what you need to.
I have also heard of booting in safe mode, although I have no experience in it, but I'm sure if you check the wiki of your device you should find an answer.

Not that I know of because of the installation needed on the device. If the ROM you are installing does not have the setup features and are already calibrated then you can install the program like before and be good to go.

Sure thing. I should be flashing this weekend if not sooner. Trying to get a few programs to play nice together and not having any luck.
I'll let you know when I do and we'll see if it works and go from there.

Today I bought a tablet, the 10" Tablet PC by Qware, model QW TB-9010.
Hardware looks fine, but I'm having some issues:
First issue is that I can boot the tablet, but when I unlock it, all I see is a black screen with the notification bar at the top which works fine, but the rest is empty and black. When I press the Home button a couple of times, the wallpaper flashes up, I see the appdrawer button but then it crashes to the black screen again, so can't do anything on the device itself.
Next, the screen stopped working, I have to use a mouse to unlock it, I'm trying to fix this with new firmware but thats where we arrive at the biggest problem:
Not in the manual, the manufacturers website, or by just trying, I cannot find out how I get this device in recovery/update mode.
Support is VERY poor for this product, but I'm guessing firmware like Uberoid will work on this device, but can't install this because it doesn't boot in recovery mode or w/e.
So if anyone has any idea how they can help me or have any tips? Please let me know!

Hello guys, I bought a new screen with frame included, and after put everything inside, the screen dont work when load Android.
Just work on splash screen, recovery or fastboot...I need help..
Even I cant see the hexagon, I tried put stock ROM..but dont work....
Led, back-home-menu buttons works, double tap work (I know because buttons works), and speakers works too....but when it load Android screen dont show anything....

Did you see the OnePlus logo when the phone is booting up? If not try reconnect the display connector?

Yes, I tried may times check everything, and seems correct....I told with seller and he get me new replacement..

Hey my p20 got blackscreen when i was useing it, i first see some weirde coulors and then bom black i tryed to take it on and off but just black and lite black white color when i touch the screen. it on but i can see when i touch the screen like its not broke but just black/ slitty white i dont care about the phone. But i really need my Notes on the phone its my work hour list . how can i get my notes when screen is black and i think usb debugging is off, i regrett i didnt plugged it in to my computer when i had screen working. then it would be no problem get filesand now i cant access my device! I would be very thankfule for any tips, tricks to get my notes. can i get this usb c to hdmi to to maybe get em?or just see em i can take picthere from houre stamps, Thanks in advance

I remmber whit an old samsung i had i could just plugg it in my computer and take all data no problem why cant i do that whit this phone why should it be so hard :/ safety?
i did try this usb C to hdmi hub whit mouse and i couldnt get pass lock screen i end up calling 911 LOL :/ why shall it be so hard to get the data any ides on how to get it??
