htc 8x software crash

Hey, my cousins windows phone 8x has been bricked and the software has totally crashed..
Now when i press the power button then only vibration is occuring..
And ya that hard reset method power button and volume down button is not working then olso vibration is occuring..
please help..

try charging it for an hour first

GDR 2, Bricked my HTC8x
MS/HTC and their crappy implementation of updates.
Not sure if this is MS or HTC fault, I got an update on my HTC8x, I am from India so its not carrier locked.
One moment i downloaded the update on wifi, and after that my phone never started, it always gets stuck at 2 gears screen for ever, i let the phone totally discharge, but that dint help either, even if i recharge i get back to same old 2 rotating gears screen.
Gave it finally to a service center who had no clue and is blaming motherboard problems-guess it is HTC's equal of Microsoft saying please reboot.
I am very disappointed with HTC, they should have pushed their firmware well i advance of MS's GDR 2 update.
Anyone facing similar issues after GDR2 update?

Two gears
Yep! I have exactly that problem after attempting to install the GDR2 update. Gets stuck at two gears screen, and no way to hard reset it seems. I can also get the white screen with the serial number etc., and USB or SERIAL showing up at the bottom of the screen depending on what the data cable is attached to. I don't know what else to do. There must be a way. I'm gonna get on the line with HTC support and ask them what they have to say.

try to open sim card work great for me wtih htc verizon and foreign country

HTC 8X dead after windows update
HTC 8X dead after windows update. After complete update phone restart automatically and then never power On. i connect the phone with charger but no indication on phone screen. When i connect the phone with PC then it installed some drivers "qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 COM24".
I try to connect the phone with Windows Phone Recovery Tool but this tool never detect the phone but When i connect the phone with PC, the PC detect the phone and show icon on right side of taskbar

[Q] Lumia 900 Help to Unbrick

Guys I will be grateful for any help you can give me here.
I have a Lumia 900. I was receiving the notification of the latest update but didn't and never attempted to install it.
Last night it give a critical low battery warning and I connected it to the nokia lead and mains charger.
It was left over night to charge however this morning I found it in a boot loop.
Buttons on bottom light, then white screen, then NOKIA logo and back to black screen.
I can't turn it off, it just runs until out of power.
I managed to get it into the mode with phone and computer displayed and Zune connected, however I have no restore points or backups.
All help much appreciated

Lumia 625 dead after digitizer replacement

Hi guys,
I know this is the wrong forum but there doesnt seem to be a lumia 625 forum ,
anyway just replaced a digitizer on my customers lumia 625 and now there's no life out of the phone
power and volume button combos unresponsive
wont connect to pc
tried with battery in and out
completely dead
anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
I have a unlocked nokia lumia 710. The problem was started when my battery was fully drained and my phone was unable to start. then I put the phone to charge , it showed battery logo for atleast 2 sec then the screen goes to black and after that phone gives a normal viberation ( normally when phone is swithched on ) and after few seconds phone gives a short vibration and then nothing happens. when I connected it with pc then it shows flash mode.
What should I do ? Give me some suggestion guys... please.... :crying:

Try removing the battery from the phone.

Sony XZ Premium not charging just getting slightly warm

Hi Everyone, after a lot of savings and reading reviews i bought XZ premium and have been happy till few days back when it all of sudden died!
Background-
My phone model no is G8141, bought in Australia being used currently in India so its not eligible for Warranty
I kept it for charging as usual in night via Sony Charger and it was found off in morning with no notification light, charging indicator basically died while charging .
Steps i took-
1. i tried regular powering on procedure then volume up and power button simultaneous press .
2. changed charger with same cable then same charger, diff cable , then both charger and cable different, realised phone was getting slightly warm near bottom of back but no indication of charging like notification light or screen display !
3. Plugged in computer not getting detected , tried Xperia Companion software repair not getting detected
4. Cleaned phone charging joining Usb C socket and headphone socket thoroughly with Iso - Propyl Alcohol !
Now i don't know what to do, its an expensive phone not covered under warranty in India and was/is my main phone, camera, internet access device !
I request all Sony lovers, Tech lovers to help me out as Phone repair Segment in India is highly unprofessional and unorganised and I am not travelling to UK or Australia for coming 5 months for sure by then the warranty will be over !
I am comfortable in opening the phone as last resort as well and have access to heat Gun and opening tools if that is helpful .

Try this:
1. Unplug the phone from the computer.
2. Press and hold volume down.
3. While holding volume down, plug the phone in to the computer.
A green light should appear. If it does, try flashing a new firmware using Flashtool.
Was this submerged in water by any chance?

The green notification light does not appear and it has not been submersed in water.
i tried running flashtool and this is the message

Hello Everyone,
Can anybody help me, i am stuck with amazing Sony XZ Premium ( till it was working ) and now it is a very very expensive paperweight and an eyesore.
Since the phone has spent past 5 months just sitting in a desk drawer and i am clueless how to proceed so i hope some one can help. Even if it requires hardware solution.
It has no sign of life except phone getting warm when connected to charger and some times even after.

my phone is also doing strange, rebooting when plug charger in. im scared and gonna make backup. this phone has suicide button after 2018 september

obviously power ic chip damage from water in usb then charging. when mine dried (disconnect from charger) then vol and power button with reset
now works ok.
