I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900R6, and have been trying to downgrade from Android 5.0 Lollipop to Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, I have followed several threads on how to do so but I always came up with the same error when using Odin.
<id:0 005=""> Firmware update start..
<id:0 005=""> SingleDownload.
<id:0 005=""> aboot.mbn
<id:0 005=""> NAND Write Start!!
<id:0 005=""> FAIL! (Auth)
<id:0 005="">
<id:0 005=""> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<osm> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I also tried using TWRP 2.8.4 and still no luck when I tried to install from an SD Card, the error I was getting here was
E: Mount: Unable to find partition for path '/G900R6WWU2ANK1_G900R6LRA2ANK1_LRA.zip'
Error flashing zip '/G900R6WWU2ANK1_G900R6LRA2ANK1_LRA.zip'
No in so many attempts on trying to install I gave up and decided to just stick with Lollipop, but the problem now is that I my phone does no longer start. When I go in to Recovery mode (TWRP) and select Reboot a message shows up stating that "No OS Installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?
Now like I said I just wish to go back to be able to use my phone! What advice can you guys give me? (Besides for the future to leave these things to the experts)

Hi,
I have bought new phone galaxy s2 GT-I9100G and broken it
I have been trying for 2 days now to fix it, read more than 100 articles/forums but still can't do ....
What I have now is:
1. when powering on, can't go to recovery mode, also download is not there (just a picture of computer and phone with cable)
2. With ODIN I can repartition (get ok)
3. I can download with ODIN Kernels
4. But when I update firmware from SamMobile it is doing all the way and then always FAIL (tried more than 5 versions of firmwares)
I get this on ODIN:
<ID:0/011> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/011> Initialzation..
<ID:0/011> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/011> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/011> cache.img
<ID:0/011> NAND Write Start!!

<ID:0/011> MLO

I9100G
hi
get an I9100g PID
check repartition
choose your PDA .tar file
flash your phone
you need a good PID for i9100g
The i9100G is NOT the same GSII as the i9100. It has a different processor and CPU (TI-OMAP). Therefore, most of the ROMs won't be compatible.
I've soft bricked my Galaxy Note I717 3 times in the last week while trying to update to the Jellybean firmware. Samsung Kies does not work. It says that there was a communication error during the upgrade process, whatever that means. I took it to the ATT store and they revived it within a few minutes with no data loss. This happened twice. I just tried to manually flash the update using odin, but I get this message:
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/003> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/003> amss.bin
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!

<ID:0/003> cache.img.ext4
<ID:0/003> mdm.bin
<ID:0/003> recovery.img
<ID:0/003> system.img.ext4
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Now I'm stuck in download mode. I tried to flash the Jellybean ROM again, but it stops right there. I'm currently runnin the stock ICS firmware. Any suggestions?

So what are you flashing exactly and what slot are you placing it in?
Sent from my CLEAN Note ll
Hello,
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 which came stock running 5.0.1 lollipop. I managed to root the phone with KingRoot and flashed a custom rom with FlashFire with no issues at all. My main goal was to get Xposed Framework installed. I was able to flash the Xposed sdk-21 arm file with FlashFire and it seemed to install properly but I couldn't ever get the Xposed app to install properly afterwards. So I then decided to uninstall the Xposed sdk-21 arm with a Xposed uninstaller file from the same source which had to be flashed and that's when all the trouble began.
My phone rebooted and got stuck at the Samsung splash screen. I had tried rebooting several times. Firstly I went into stock recovery and tried wiping cache partition to no avail. Secondly I tried to do a factory restore via stock recovery and that was a no go. Still stuck at Samsung splash screen upon boot up attempt. I then decided it was probable best if I had just started from scratch. So I downloaded the stock I545VRUGOC1 rom along with the Pit file and tried flashing that with Odin v3.09. That was a huge fail. Odin went through the process all the way to about 90-95% and wouldn't go any further. I had to keep pressing start after many failed attempts to get to this point.
Here's what I get from Odin now:

I can no longer get into stock recovery on the phone at this point. I get this message when trying to enter recovery:
Software Update Failed
Your device didn't update
successfully. Use the Verizon
Software Repair Assistant on a
computer to repair your device and
complete the update.I CAN get into download mode at the very least. Maybe there's still hope? I'm about cross-eyed and at wits ends trying to find a working solution. Any and all help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Hello, I believed I've exhausted my efforts in searching for an answer online. It seems no one else is in the exact same scenario as myself, to where I cannot find an answer.
So, a little bit ago, I rooted my phone using the guide posted at the following link: Here
My phone became very laggy and battery life was horrible, so I decided to unroot my phone. I followed a guide on the following link : Here
Well, it just so happened that Odin had failed to flash back to the stock firmware. I've tried numerous versions of the firmware and I have had no luck. I cannot use my phone now. I can access the downloading screen, and that is about it. My phone is a Verizon Galaxy S7
SM-G930V
Unsure of the current firmware. Whatever that first link I posted gives.
This is the same error I get thrown from Odin:
Code:
<ID:0/005> Odin engine v(ID:3.1203)..
<ID:0/005> File analysis..
<ID:0/005> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/005> Initialzation..
<ID:0/005>
<ID:0/005> Set PIT file..
<ID:0/005> DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!
<ID:0/005> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
If there is any other information you feel might help solve this, I'll give up all that I can. Thank you in advance.

Greetings and welcome to assist. Have you tried smartswitch emergency firmware recovery ? That should return your phone to stock
Good Luck
Sawdoctor
I used CF Auto root to root my device with Odin 3.10.6. Afterwards my device would just boot to the logo and stop their. I have tried everything I could find online. I tried stock firmware with all versions of Odin I could get my hands on, I tried flashing a custom ROM with Odin, I tried Keis and Smart but no luck there either. I also went in store to AT&T and they could do nothing either except offer me a new phone for 800 bucks lol. I have followed many online tutorials also from various websites.
My phone is SM G925A. I need answers badly. Any help is much appreciated.
Odin spits this out at me every try or else it gets stuck on a segment and never continues the flash:
