Hi all.. As the title says, I'm looking for a slim case, or bumber, or another thing which has a good grip. I bought a samsung official case along my phone but I did find it too slippery. Moreover, after only a few months (6/7) back was quite damaged ... So, it's time to change..I eagerly look forward your advice ...

I would also consider a Speck Candyshell Grip, which is an awesome case. http://www.speckproducts.com/samsun...grip-samsung-galaxy-s6-cases/GS6-CS-GRIP.html . The list price is $35, but you can easily get it much cheaper online.

Yes I do, the first case is slimmer than the caseology but still does not add too much bulk.

Hi, and thank you for your search. It seems slim and she seems to have a good grip. I like the case like this that are not cut into the top and bottom of the phone. However, colors are not really great (in my opinion) but good considering the price we will not complain ...:silly:

Yeah and price is realy chipper...I found it on Aliexpress for 5.35€ (6.05$)... For now, this is my favorite for its looks and price.....:good:
I'm using ringke slim soft tone case. I like that i could press the buttons directly.
I dont think this would protect from drops more than 1-2 ft though.

I picked up a slim leather like case from Proporta (Ted Baker Samsung Galaxy S6 Cover - Leather Style Hard Shell with Pocket). Proporta is in the U.K. but shipping to the east coast (D.C.) only took a few days.

It's like a soft touch plastic. Not TPU. The back has holes which are for ventilation. It definitely helps let the heat out instead of trapping it in.

I am also using this case, and absolutely love it. Full coverage, light, decent grip.

Lol, the thanks I gave were a touch screen accident, IMHO you're going after max protection so my choice would be Otterbox Defender, tbh I've been intrigued by the defender since I heard of it, but it does give good screen protection in use which is good.

İ'd also prefer OtterBox. I've got in on my S3 and it's a very great and useful protection. The only question is sales start
some flip case also do good job on protection of screen, I may use normal flip case yet not give up otterbox defender....

I have an EVO 3D like you. I got it on launch and purchased the cheap plastic snap on shell they had at the store. I never dropped the phone or did anything to it and low and behold it put scratches all over the phone where the case made contact with the phone. Since then I havent used a case just keep the phone in my pocket. What experiences have you had with other cases that may be great for the S4. I plan on getting something for the S4 but do not want the case to cause more damage than without.

yes,ROCK case is impressive indeed and they just released new slim case get my breath,compare with otterbox apparently ROCK case get more fashion elements into their design,otter also did good job on design and protection,yet seems they're lack of creative continuously with only a past design and makes otterbox here and there,I would rather try a new style case for my galaxy s4,even once I'm also a fans of otter...

I had an OtterBox Commuter for my last phone, which was the thin version. With these phones being as big as they are and compensating with very thin profiles, any rugged case is going to turn your phone into a massive brick.
To top it off, I've never even dropped my phone, but the size that the case adds to it makes it slip out of my hands all the time!

Has anyone found a thoroughly clear TPU case yet? There are several on Amazon that describe themselves as clear but they have cloudy matte material on the back or odd designs that interrupt the smooth clear look. It took a while to find one for my original Moto X, but if anybody sees one could they please post?

That looks like about like the same thing I've seen on AliExpress for like $1. I'm curious how much protection the hard clear cases would offer (and if they'd scratch the phone). What are your initial thoughts?
It's a hard case, it will scratch. Mine had a couple smudges on the inside that wouldn't buff out. It does have a recessed dimple which is a nice to touch and lets you enjoy the feel of it when you're holding it. I found that it was a little rough holding it on the bottom where the case ends and the phone began since it only covers the back half.
I'm kinda surprised that Cruzerlite doesn't make a mostly clear gloss TPU case.

Casemate has a 2 piece clear. Polycarbonate outer (hard) with flexible rubber/TPU bumper in inside. Usually $35 from AT&T, It's called the Naked Tough. My Ex has it, looks nice but not very grippy. Plus, I'd fear scratching if you lay it down often.
I myself have a TPU in semi-clear. Paid like $6 but like most, it's "frosted" on rear in center. Still let's some color through on back and completely on edges/front. Beware though, if you get one, male sure you see the hole on the back for the upper mic. Mine didn't have it and I had to make my own hole. Contacted the seller and they said they would get me a replacement one sent out. Still waiting on that.

The second link is for the one I have. Notice, the pic shows no hole at the top on the rear. I like it especially for $6. Flexible enough to get on, strong enough that it hangs on, clear enough that you know what I'm rocking on the back and grippy enough to feel better holding in hand.

The case is thick and heavy. I used the similar one on my old G-tablet ever. To be honest, quality pretty good.
I've used the poetic and isvo slim cases before and they are nice, I actually think they are made by the same company.
The Fintie Ultra Slim on Amazon would probably meet your needs.
There's this Orzly Slim Rim tablet case I saw on Amazon. Its got a sleep sensor and also looks quite slim
It only has two stand positions so one less than the other one someone posted on this thread but to be honest, 2 positions are all you really need.
Definitely check that one out!

I got the "MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight " case for my Nexus 9 and its pretty damn nice for the price. It's almost a clone of the Poetic and IVSO.
The drawback though is that it is tough to take it out of the case. With the design being so identical to the Poetic and IVSO cases, its possible that this could be a problem across all 3 brands.
The one major difference for the IVSO case (based on Amazon photos ive seen) is that the cover magnet clasps onto the magnets on the case . The Poetic and Moko cases have cover magnets that clasps on the pre-existing magnets on the Nexus 9.

I got the ISVO and its just like the Moko I have for my Nexus 7. Both have a hard back and tri-fold cover with magnets in the back portion to hold the cover closed. Really protects the corners, and front when closed

Something interesting that I found is that Supcase also has cases for sale on Amazon for the Pure even though there isn't anything about them on their site. Release date isn't till the 25th-30th however.

It feels solid but if you think about it, if it were to fall and hit on the corner then it might split apart and not bounce like a TPU case which would maybe damage the phone more likely.
But I like almost as well as the Incipio Octane case I have.

This looks like the exact one offered by "Storm-Buy" on Amazon. I imagine it's from the same Chinese company. Either way I have this case on my phone and I personally like it.
Now it's not perfect but it does what I really need it to do. I was looking for a clear case that would show off the back, while protecting my phone from basic scratches and bumps, and not adding too much bulk. I don't think it's going to be as good as other cases for drops and falls but works fine for minor protection.
You can see what looks like leftover marks, probably from the manufacturing process. Not really super noticeable but you can see them. Since it is a 2-piece snap-on case there is a bit of flex by the volume button and it is a bit slippery. But the case is solid and snug on the phone. It also provides a lip on top so the screen is protected when face down on a flat surface. It's also not likely to come apart. I actually have a hard time taking it off that I feel I'm going to break it when I try. For $8 I'm not going to complain.
If you are a bit rougher on you phones, then I recommend a different one but for basic scratches this one isn't terrible.
I've been using this case for about a week now and I think it is fine. It will definitely protect the wood back (ebony) from scratches., and it was inexpensive -- I doubt it will offer much protection from a drop. I'll move on when I see another clear case that is deemed to be tough and low profile.
The ebony wood back is very very nice - very glad I selected that option.
Mine shipped and never made it. They gave me a quick refund. I was impressed they refunded my money so fast.

Man, this case looks so exquisite, but a little expensive. This Litchi pattern leather case costs just $4.99 You like it?
I really recommend this case from 'aixuan'. Got it from aliexpress.com
It fits snug and feels nice in the hand, given extra grip. Had one very similar from imak for my mi note and was great too.
It doesn't add much extra bulk and is solid. Got it in 10 days.

Yeah, but I don't know why you'd purposely touch the edges. Considering our screen doesn't go that far.
