This one has 3 stand and typing position, sleep awake sensor. Seems not slim enough...

You can find it here: http://www.oiostore.com/nexus-9-heat-setting-flip-leather-case-nexus9-slimfit-clip-case-p-382.html
The case is thick and heavy. I used the similar one on my old G-tablet ever. To be honest, quality pretty good.
I've used the poetic and isvo slim cases before and they are nice, I actually think they are made by the same company.
The Fintie Ultra Slim on Amazon would probably meet your needs.
There's this Orzly Slim Rim tablet case I saw on Amazon. Its got a sleep sensor and also looks quite slim
It only has two stand positions so one less than the other one someone posted on this thread but to be honest, 2 positions are all you really need.
Definitely check that one out!

Orzly Slim Rim brought, i will come back here and update you all with my opinion in a few days. I also brought the orzly glass screen for nexus 9 which was recommended with the product

Check out IVSO
I just bought one of these. Didn't get it yet, so no review.
(I can't post a link so just search for this on Amazon: IVSO Google Nexus 9 8.9-inch Ultra-Thin Slim Smart Cover Case with Auto Sleep/Wake Function)

I got the "MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight " case for my Nexus 9 and its pretty damn nice for the price. It's almost a clone of the Poetic and IVSO.
The drawback though is that it is tough to take it out of the case. With the design being so identical to the Poetic and IVSO cases, its possible that this could be a problem across all 3 brands.
The one major difference for the IVSO case (based on Amazon photos ive seen) is that the cover magnet clasps onto the magnets on the case . The Poetic and Moko cases have cover magnets that clasps on the pre-existing magnets on the Nexus 9.
You can see pics of my Moko slim case here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-9/accessories/nexus-9-t2908774/page20#post57057212
I got the ISVO and its just like the Moko I have for my Nexus 7. Both have a hard back and tri-fold cover with magnets in the back portion to hold the cover closed. Really protects the corners, and front when closed
MB
MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight ftw
Fits Nexus 9 perfectly. Everything is accessible, the case is light and sturdy. I like the hard plastic rim and corners ( which rise ever so slightly above the glass) that give great protection.

As there are many case options and finally gotta make a decision between the ROCK GS4 Case and Otterbox GS4 case, both are enjoyed great reputation so far, and which one would you take ?
Lol, the thanks I gave were a touch screen accident, IMHO you're going after max protection so my choice would be Otterbox Defender, tbh I've been intrigued by the defender since I heard of it, but it does give good screen protection in use which is good.

İ'd also prefer OtterBox. I've got in on my S3 and it's a very great and useful protection. The only question is sales start
some flip case also do good job on protection of screen, I may use normal flip case yet not give up otterbox defender....
Ballistic HC is what I want.

I have an EVO 3D like you. I got it on launch and purchased the cheap plastic snap on shell they had at the store. I never dropped the phone or did anything to it and low and behold it put scratches all over the phone where the case made contact with the phone. Since then I havent used a case just keep the phone in my pocket. What experiences have you had with other cases that may be great for the S4. I plan on getting something for the S4 but do not want the case to cause more damage than without.

yes,ROCK case is impressive indeed and they just released new slim case get my breath, compare with otterbox apparently ROCK case get more fashion elements into their design, otter also did good job on design and protection, yet seems they're lack of creative continuously with only a past design and makes otterbox here and there,I would rather try a new style case for my galaxy s4,even once I'm also a fans of otter...

This is outside your question but based on your choices you might want to consider giving the Casemate toughcase a look see.
rock~
I had an OtterBox Commuter for my last phone, which was the thin version. With these phones being as big as they are and compensating with very thin profiles, any rugged case is going to turn your phone into a massive brick.
To top it off, I've never even dropped my phone, but the size that the case adds to it makes it slip out of my hands all the time!

Rock is not the same level as Otterbox yet. Griffin is closed to Otterbox. Other than that, below one is closed to be Otterbox Defender.
Poetic Revolution Case for Samsung Galaxy S 4
I preordered one on Amazon.com
Have you guys checked out www.tridentcase.com ? I noticed they have a display banner on their website showing a "sneak peek" of their upcoming cases for the S4. I've had their cases in the past, and I must say that I like the fact that their cases come in different levels of protection as well as in a bunch of different colors! Moreover, they always seem to have promotions/discounts and offer free shipping within the U.S....you can't beat that!

Hello,
I've bought that Case:
MoKo Slim Cover Case
I've read a lot of reviews about it (at amazon, many people gave the seller 5 stars and 4 stars)...
I watched that video before I bought it, he was talking about the magnetic issue and that this case doesn't have that problem:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bG-8b0V0Ik
Also I've read that review on Amazon: (he said that the case hasn't that problem)
http://www.amazon.com/review/R1M0VCT5DCYSS6/ref=cm_srch_res_rtr_alt_3
So I bought it..
But lately, I knew the magnetic problem and about causing permanent damage to the screen of interfere with S-Pen...
Can I just test the S-Pen while using the case to see if any problem occurs. If nothing happens then it's OK?
Or should I really just remove the magnetic from the case?
Thanks
I'me had the MoKo slim cover case since June.
I have never had the magnet problem.
It does seem to be cracking (the case) and so I have just ordered another one.
It keeps the 8 slim and light.
Enjoy

What do you mean by cracking the case?
Slight chip where the 2 magnets are that hold the case closed.
Still totally usable, but thought I'd get a spare.

Protects against minor falls, from the pressure of the books in your backpack
And handy pocket for OTG cable, memory cards, adapters, headsets, phones, loot from the bank, etc.
I've been using a moko case with magnets since may with no Ill effects on the stylus. With the case flipped back, the magnets do cause a distortion in that area through the back of the device, but leaving the cover pen like a book alleviates that problem. No permanent issues.

Well,
It has been 2 weeks now and my S-pen still works good..
But the very corners where the magnets are, the s-pen seems to be diverting a little
Overall, maybe this case is a good one :good:
Note: when the case is closed, the tablet never wake up even if I set an alarm... (Tested it my self)
I have the moko slim fit multi angle case http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Slim-Fit-Multi-angle-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00BTZG7RU and the alarm works with the case being closed (I just tested it and I'm on Civz 4.2.2 rom). I also have not experienced any issues with the s-pen in the 7 months that I have had it. The quality of the case is also holding up pretty well and I use my tablet pretty much on a daily basis

I tested it again just now,,, NO alarm while the case is closed
Ive been really happy with the poetic case, wont let me post link so i will rectify that. it looks exactly like the moko. When I bought it it was $4.95 with Prime so it was a killer deal.
oh yeah, alarm works when case is closed.
I figured out that only Samsung Alarm isn't working while case is closed
I used "Alarm Clock Xtreme" and it worked perfectly

Official but non-keyboard case?

Hope there is a decent unofficial cover that uses the magnets and doesn't snap onto the back. Want the screen covered but not the back.
The official one looks alright but I don't know if I like how you fold it to make a stand.
Everything wouldn't arrive in time. This is too frustrating!

need help
I order the official HTC case on amazon... I don't know how much protection it will provide, but hopefully it will suffice until some better options pop up.
The official case is for just protection of the screen and be as minimal as possible (like Samsung's flip cover).
If you want something more rock solid you need to wait for other options. The tablet is not even out yet. So there is plenty of time to wait for some better all around protection for this tablet
I will have two cases, one official when I am home, and one more study one when I am on vacation or something like that
Ordered this cover, it looks decent and is pretty cheap.

Hi all.. As the title says, I'm looking for a slim case, or bumber, or another thing which has a good grip. I bought a samsung official case along my phone but I did find it too slippery. Moreover, after only a few months (6/7) back was quite damaged ... So, it's time to change..I eagerly look forward your advice ...
Post yours and come to speek about your experience..

Yes I do, the first case is slimmer than the caseology but still does not add too much bulk.
If you want thin, try the Incipio NGP: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Incipio-Resistant-S6-Frost/dp/B00TRN9IEK

It's like a soft touch plastic. Not TPU. The back has holes which are for ventilation. It definitely helps let the heat out instead of trapping it in.

Maybe Evolutive Labs will design their crash guard for the Xiaomi Mi5 if the demand is their:

Maybe email them and see what they say.

Yeah I've bought 2 as I wasn't sure which colour I liked best and will send the one I like least lol. I'll post pictures when it arrives if I remember
I used this Luphie frame for one day in my Mi5 but threw it away. It doesn't fit perfect - you can make very little vertical movement. But it is not a big problem. It just doesn't feel comfortable for me. Phone is still very slick and easy to drop.
Also tried this one from aliexpres : "AIXUAN-Quicksand-Case-For-Xiaomi-Mi5-M5"
[sorry, as a new user I can't place links]
Highly do not recommend. Very easy to detach and very thin. Nillkin is much better.
Finally I chosen this one: "Luxury Bumper TPU Soft Rubber Skin Case Cover" from ebay
not perfect fit, but overall the best I tested

That's a pity, I was looking for buying it (as soon as I buy the Mi5).
Let's see some other feedback.
Here's some sweeeeeeet looking ones... price is not cheap enough, considering one bad review here
Im a sucker for bumper or a slick leather back case

So today, the long awaited case of mine has arrived... And it is AWESOME, only if the ~0,2 mm vertical movement does not bug your OCD , but I haven't felt any horizontal sliding.
I never had any drop or slipping issues in my hand before the case arrived, and the case adds even more grip, however, the overall width is 74,8 mm ( measured with calipers, to be exact )
It looks, and feels very premium, the buttons are tactile (also, made of metal), and all the ports are easily reachable.
For this price it's a bargain
PS. the cheapest I've found was on Ebay, but the shipping was extremely slow (~1 month)
