So I keep seeing YouTube videos of the LG v10 with the Att logo on the back. Shouldn't this lead you to believe that it should release soon? Hopefully it doesn't go into November

Just saw this and thought I would share. There is a post on Phandroid via BGR that says Verizon will be releasing 15 new phones by the end of the year and they are mostly smartphones. The HTC Passion/Dragon is specifically mentioned for either Black Friday or mid December.

I am thinking about upgrade my Eris(version of the Hero) to either the Droid 2 or the Galaxy S for Verizon. However, I keeping reading that in November Verizon is going to be launched LTE, and I'm in one of those cities where a launch is planned. So, the question comes should I upgrade to one of those aforementioned phones or should I wait for LTE and accompanying Android phone to come out(in this case LTE/CDMA hybrid)?
LTE phones probably wont be out till late Q1 2011 if you can wait i would, if not do what i did.
i ended buying an EVO outright not to get into a contract so i can switch once the first Verizon Android LTE phones come out. then i can just sell the EVO on eBay.
Are there any interesting VZW phones on the horizon? I picked up my Thunderbolt in March of last year, and have been fairly happy with it (main issues are size & battery life). When looking at Verizon's site, no new phone really jumps out of me, but as I haven't been following phone forums in a while, I'm not sure where the best place to research is on new phones due to come out.

The next phone out of Verizon will be the incredible 4g. Not a big upgrade from The thunderbolt but solid phone anyways. Should be out in the next few weeks. Other than that there is the Galaxy S3, Razr HD, and the LG Optimus LTE2 all coming out sometime later this summer. After that some awesome stuff should be out around Thanksgiving/Christmas with Jellybean.
Total speculation here, but Verizon might wait to release these phone until they have their new tiered data share plans to force people into those if they want a new phone...
So I was at the Samsung Experience Center today and was getting my OH-SO-AWESOME MF3 i337 restored and was talking to the guy about when the 4.3 updates come out. From what his documentation stated from Samsung themselves, Sprint is getting theirs sometime TODAY, AT&T is getting theirs on the 13th of next month, and T-Mobile on the 18th of next month. So keep an eye out you Sprint users. I really need to get rid of this junk MF3 rom LOL.

So when you guys went to the Sprint or Best Buy stores and exchanged your phone for a S7E or other device, were you able to keep your upgrade date? Say for instance you got your Note7 on August 25th but exchanged it for an S7E October 25th, next year would you still be able to upgrade your phone on August 25th?
I was able to keep my previous update date. I don't know how they did it. I did my exchange at a corp store. I don't think the guy knew exactly what he was doing but its still listed as I have an upgrade available.
