We got my son a Sprout Cubby for bis second birthday and I've noticed some apps have the home bar enabled, causing him to exit his games and getting upset. Before the cubby we used my phone and my tablet ( my tablet no longer works) and I was able to set it to hide the home bar via display settings so he wouldn't exit his games. Can anyone point me in the direction to so this for his Cubby?

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
If it is not part of the existing firmware, and you you don't have a custom recovery, there is not much that can be done unfortunately. If you do have a custom recovery that allows backup and restore (all of them should), you can try XPosed + GravityBox. But because of the risk of bootlooping any device, you need to have a custom recovery that can be accessed by the device's magic keys.
Any more information on this, sadly there isn't much about the Cubby. But you can try the "ask any question" thread (once registered for an account):

Hope this helps, and good luck!

In my Screen Lock options there are only Swipe, Pattern, PIN and Password.
Tried to look around for solutions;
Some say clear credentials but my Clear Credential option is greyed out,
Some say remove guest account but when I change to Guest and remove it in the account options it reappears when i am switch back to Main account.
I never had a screen lock in 4.4.4 and I am so frustrated by it now, can someone help? thanks
edit: My device is rooted so I can edit the system files to enable None option if that is needed.

Depending on the device, firmware and settings, there can be different reasons.
I found one way here: AT&T Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Why can't I disable my lock screen? by emtiv334.
Or here: T-Mobile Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Cant disable lock screen security by cliffclaven.
Without more information about your device and your firmware, I can not give better advices.
Set Swipe to unlock till you find your device's specific forum, then ask in the Help/Troubleshooting section.
Good luck !

Greetings, I just updated my Nexus 5 to Marshmallow, but am having trouble enabling Google Now On Tap; I tap Get Started in the dialog and nothing happens. If I go into the settings and move the slider over, it moves back and stays gray. Thoughts?

Hello everyone,
Suddenly, a notification icon got stuck on my status bar on top of my screen. It is the stock alarm clock app that comes on pretty much every Android phone. I have tried everything I could think of, to make it disappear but have not succeeded. At the moment, I do not have any alarms turned on, I even went as far as deleting all of them, tried to force stop the app many times etc. It is not a big issue but it is annoying since it is taking up a precious space in the status bar. Is there a way to get rid of it?
Thanks for your help

I just recently rooted my Galaxy S5 SM-900T using odin/TWRP. This is a small but annoying issue I was wondering to get help with. I am a super Noob as this is my first phone that I've ever tried to do anything like this. So far everything seems good besides the pull down notification quick setting icons keep resetting when I reset my phone (wifi, location, sound, screenrotation, bluetooth buttons). Any idea how to correct this?

Hi everyone I took this new phone I am quite well and I am trying to set it as I want it..But I have a problem I hope to explain myself well I tried to contact LG assistance .. but they did not help me much ...... It happens to me sometimes with the original LG launcher android 10 to make recordings on a new app ... but I can not in any way keep the App still and I have to close by swiping to the right or left ... on old android there was an x on the left side that allowed me to keep the App always in the foreground now there is no longer this option..ce a system or a launcher that can keep various Apps in the foreground without closing them and always active on the screen?
Thanks for your help
Go to Settings > Apps > App info > choose the app you want to manage > Permissions > three dots in right upper corner > All permissions > run foreground service.
switch from gestures to buttons

What you also can try is to switch from gestures to buttons.
That means you get the good old permanent Nav-bar at the bottom to steer your apps.
DSettings -> Display -> Navigation Bar -> Gestures
Just Buttons.
