[Completed] Alarm clock notification stuck - XDA Assist

Hello everyone,
Suddenly, a notification icon got stuck on my status bar on top of my screen. It is the stock alarm clock app that comes on pretty much every Android phone. I have tried everything I could think of, to make it disappear but have not succeeded. At the moment, I do not have any alarms turned on, I even went as far as deleting all of them, tried to force stop the app many times etc. It is not a big issue but it is annoying since it is taking up a precious space in the status bar. Is there a way to get rid of it?
Thanks for your help
My phone's specs:
Samsung Galaxy S6
SM-G920F
Android 6.0.1
G920FXXU3DPDP
no root

[Completed] [Q] Huawei MT2L03 notification issues

Love this phone and the battery life, but the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 = serial killer. It routinely kills Kik messenger, I have watched the kik notification in my bar actually just *pop* disappear right in front of me, and when I launch kik then, it takes a few seconds for the app to open back up. If this wasn't annoying enough, it sometimes doesn't even give me a notification icon for new texts (stock SMS, I couldn't use Chomp anymore because it kept getting killed). Nowadays I just have to keep checking the app to see if there's anything new, because getting notified is hit-or-miss. I'm wondering if a different ROM would solve the problem, but I'm also concerned because the battery life right now is fantastic and I don't want to lose that. It has not killed Opera Max or Tasker yet, and they both have notifications in the status bar..... but then, why does kik and Facebook Messenger get killed, and why don't I always get notifications of texts? I do not use task killers, this is all being done by my phone. I also do not use any type of stock power-saving options. Would love if there was a way to whitelist certain apps so they wouldn't be killed by the system unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, but I suspect there's not an easy option like that, right?
By the way, the phone runs 4.3 and is rooted with stock ROM and kernel

[Completed] Enabling Google Now on Tap - Nexus 5

Greetings, I just updated my Nexus 5 to Marshmallow, but am having trouble enabling Google Now On Tap; I tap Get Started in the dialog and nothing happens. If I go into the settings and move the slider over, it moves back and stays gray. Thoughts?

[Completed] Quick Settings from my pull down notification bar keep resetting

I just recently rooted my Galaxy S5 SM-900T using odin/TWRP. This is a small but annoying issue I was wondering to get help with. I am a super Noob as this is my first phone that I've ever tried to do anything like this. So far everything seems good besides the pull down notification quick setting icons keep resetting when I reset my phone (wifi, location, sound, screenrotation, bluetooth buttons). Any idea how to correct this?

[Completed] Does somebody know how do get rid of those weird icons?

Hello!
I have had my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9195) for like 2 years.
Like 2 days earlier i tried to root it and stuff! it worked!
Then tried a rom... and i got some weird icons in the bottom right corner, they would appear at certain things like when i look at my home screen they are there... But like when i scroll down the notification tab it does not show on there... WEIRDEST PART IS THAT when i take a screenshot the icons don't appear...
Ive tried everything getting a "STOCK ROM" for my device
Even rebooting does not help..
Can somebody help me get rid of those weird overlay icons?
Any hope fixing it?

Help with a Samsung S8 notification issues

Hello!
I have an odd issue with my samsung s8.
So in the past week or so, my phone will make a notification sound or vibrate, but nothing is in the notification bar. Also notifications for telegram don't show up either. I've checked my settings and nothing has changed. I tried to change the settings under apps - special access - optimise battey usage and disabled telegram, however this has not helped.
The phone has been working perfectly untill now.
The firmware is upto date and i've not installed any new apps recently.
It's annoying as hell.
I could reset my phone, but I wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas?
I'm running andriod 8.0.0
Please help!
Thanks
