Hello.
I have an Unusual 50x smartphone. This is a rather small company from Spain, I suppose they are just rebranding chinese smartphones, and this is why I can't find a rom that would work with it. They do not have a stock rom for this device on their website.
The specifications are:
Mtk6572S_00, 512 mb ram, 5 inch screen.
Even if some rom does start up, the screen is striped, like really, really striped, the phone reacts on swiping, but the screen is unreadable.
Could you point me to a working rom for this device, maybe a stock rom? I've tried the one for Cubot C-11, Unusual 55X, and some chinese mt6572 clones. None of this has worked so far.

Hello,
I just ordered the Visture V4HD from Aliexpress and should receive it in a few days.
This will be my first tablet, and I have a very basic understanding of OS and firmware...
I've noticed that the specs of the Cube U9GT5, Chuwi v99 and Visture V4HD are exactly the same. Does this mean the firmware is compatible between them?
I basically gambled on which one to buy and ended up settling for the Visture. The only thing that I fear is that they might slack on the firmware updates.
Is using firmware from one of those other tablets possible in case the people from Visture stop updating the firmware altogether?

Yes you can. I have one Chuwi V99 and i'm using the yuandao n90FHD firmware. Chuwi v99, Cube u9gt5, Visture v4hd and yuandao n90fhd thei are all the same tablet, and a few more brands will came.

Is anyone modifying firmwares of these high-res chinese tabs to get more out of it.
Fact is: the producers did not do their very best to implement the latest tweaks etc to their "4.1.1". The most important problem so far is a memory leakage, freezes and an unusably laggyish HD-mode.
We could use some dev-pover on these tabs, They seem nicely built and not too weak if optimized.

A new firmware for Hyundai Play X900 has been released yesterday, it works with the Cube U9GT5 and all compatible tablets.
I made a rooted version here:

It's not really smooth yet, but it's better than all other firmwares I tested so far.
so is the CUBE the same as Chuwi V99?

I have serius problem with my tablet
The problems is with camera when I try to open android camera apps .
Say error "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped"
I install again latest FW with full swap all data and have the same error .
I try Settings > Apps > All > Gallery > Clear data
But nothing happened
I try with all official roms
I try with Timeless Rom V0004 & Timeless Rom V0005
But nothing happened
I change permissioning on gallery2.app
But nothing happened
ANY H E L P ?
Any fix for the display lag? It's too annoying especially in HD mode! I've tried a couple of ROMs but none seems to fix it! Any advice? Thx!

i see that you bought the V887 can you please make a quick review of this cellphone? i don't have see nothing to root or mod the v887, even with no-stock on ecosystem stores of Sambil and Millenium market, i don't know if in lider market exist an Ecosystems store...
Anyway, now in mercadolibre i'm starting to see this cellphone from revendors at +3500bsf, why?... if in Ecosystems it cost 2500... well anyway, i have used it in the stands of ecosystems and it looks a nice Phablet, but with too much short power, 512mb of ram, Dual core 1Ghz processor and only a SGX531 Gpu?... would be better with a SGX540 gpu like the galaxy S one...

you can also found stock rom ICS and JB of this phone, and also a lot of custom roms there

I have a FHD phone with 1080*1920 display,
Auxus Nuclea N1 (a rebranded Tianhe H920+)
The display is broken and cost a cost. I have found the similar device with 1080*720 resolution
Tianhe H920, the display unit for the same cost almost INR 3k less. The slots and everything seems identical.
I just wanted to know if i replace my broken screen with the lower resolution display unit. Will it work fine ? or the Display resolution is defined in the ROM. If so is it possible to make it work by making changes in ROM.
I am noob in Development and compiling / Decompiling roms, apps, But i can make few edit to text based files in Roms.
Please guide.. I didnt knew whom to ask this question so posting a thread here.

I am new to ANdroid devcies as i only have Apple devices up till now, please bear with me. I just bough a Noza Tec Android table VII on kitkat 4.4.4 quadcore with 1GB RAM, this tablet was cheap and does not behave anything like a quadcore or 1GB RAM, it is very slow when using web browser and zooming in on anything is not smooth and does it in sections. I would like to try installing a custom ROM that would speed things up dramatically, as currently it is really poor.
Can anyone give advise on the best ROM for htis device and also if there is an installation guide as this is the first time i will be trying it and i dont want ot brick the tablet.
Any help appriciated. Thanks in advance

Hi.
I don't see any thread for that brand. That's maybe because is a Chinese device. It would be very very difficult to find a custom rom for this device, almost impossible I would say. I would suggest for you to stick to big names, like Samsung, Asus, etc. There's always a workaround with roms and rooting for these brands. Sorry I couldn't help more.
