Hi ,
I have xolo black but m facing a some problem like its heating while charging, playing and connected to internet as well
and its hanging too much ...pls guys tell me what to do ...
Hi,
I suggest using an app like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.easyx.coolermaster&hl=en (Not tested, but reviews seem good).
The Xolo Black has many complaints about overheating when using the device. It's snapdragon 610 (If I am not mistaking) is a beast of a CPU, but very bad thermal control, causing it to overheat.
I'd suggest noting down the moments when the phone gets hot, writing down what you are doing at that exact time, see if it's the same app(s) causing it to overheat and try do something about it (uninstall/clean/find an app to control it's CPU power).

I have that problem since i got this tsablet.
On stock ics,stock jb,cm10,cm10.1,all 4.x roms.
It happens when the tab is charging, and in weak use(did it only once),and generally when it is in use(very warm on top left of the tab).I manage to cool it down by using an laptop cooling dock, but it shouldnt be normal that it overheats, should it?
Thank you.
Me too...
Just same tab and it is always over +30 C° temperature and my tab isnt even 3 months old. And when i play it gets to 33-36. Even now writing this this feels warm. Try battery stats+ and check your temperature and compare to cloud. Its prettyweird what twmperatures others have. I have.too looked for solution and i hope someone helps us.
I have no problem at all with the temperature of my tablet. It's never overheated (except when I play games for a while) but then again, I do watch my apps. What could help is checking which apps start at boot. If you have to many apps starting at boot, it could cause your tablet to overheat due the programs running in the background.

I remove soo many apps every time I install a rom, and it kept heating up.
Other samsung device users report the same problem, and they conclude it is the software bug.
Galaxy s2 has a fix for that, but no fix for p5110 :/
I cant put my tab in a protective case because of this problem.Gonna wait for official 4.2(until september), it will probably feature the fix for this problem.
Hello
I have a galaxy tab 2 gt p3100. My problem is that sometimes it shuts down itself which is very annoying. Any suggestions?

Are you on stock firmware? using any particular rom? which android version? please provide details about when it shuts down. any particular app or activity? or is it random reboots? using gapps? facebook? or games? give us some hint.
Usually it happens when you overburden the CPU and RAM with things that the device can't handle, like Games with high requirements.
I am on stock firmware. Not rooted. When i take it out from the charging for some moments it stays awake then it vibrates and shutsdown.

i think it would b battry problem
Replace old battry with new one.
It could cost you nearly 2000rs
Greetings,
If it turns Off:
- Try a new Battery
- Check Battery Connector and Related Chip Temperature.
This black square chip should not overheat while the device is not charging. If its unbearable to put your finger in it over 3 or 4 seconds... Assume at hand you may have a faulty device.
Yet only service will confirm such problem.
If the Device Reboots:
- Verify if it is not RAM overload.
My device is Running on Stock Rom, but Rooted so I can be able to manage my RAM, and CPU Clock (and more ofcourse).
If you suspect that is the case, and you are adventurous enough..Root the Device (Please Read about "How to" and "Risks Envolved" if you're not so experienced), and Install: "Memory Manager" from Google Play.
Set it to Optimal or Strict and to Start on Boot.
Memory Issues are most likely gone.
In Both cases there are a few more related issues.
Either Software or Hardware.
If none of the tips I said helped. You need to investigate a little bit more so we can give you further help.
Hopefully you already got this fixed.
Best Regards;
Richard
Please hit thanks if this helped. It will keep me motivated to continue helping.
Hello ! I recently bought a Motorola Moto G 2015, the 1 gb version and i have a " ghost touch" problem. The problem appears when i'm charging and when I unplug the phone it happens only when I use Chrome or any other browser... What should I do ?
I too have this problem in my 1GB version and only happens when battery us reaches 40% and when some one calls while playing games...
Tried CM 13 and 12.1 and stock ROMs also...
No solution till now so I maintain my battery level above 40 always.
Moto G 2015 problem.
On my moto g the ghost touches appear regardless the battery level , but only when browsing ... Dunno what to do . Now I'm using Opera mini and the ghost touchea do not appear but when I'm using any heavy browser the ghost touches appear. Problem at a software level ?
yeah happens to me on chrome on my phone xD , i thought i was the only one with the issue... apparently not !
Tried chrome no ghost touches.....happens only when battery below 40..

Did you try another browser ? As I said the ghost touches on my Moto G appear only when using heavy browsers, I have played games and used other heavy apps but the touches do not appear . Will a factory reset help ? Or should I RMA it ?

If by "ghost touch" you mean a swipe is seen as a tap... it's actually pretty common in Chrome and a handful of other apps like Google+, not just on the Moto G either, I have seen this behavior in other low/mid range Qualcomm devices like the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 and HTC Desire 816. If you Google almost any recent lower to mid range Qualcomm-based phone plus the words "ghost touch" you will see it is that although everyone doesn't have it, it's not a very uncommon thing either. No one has really found a resolution or cause that I know of.
To be honest after a while you just get used to it, it's a little annoying sometimes but hardly unbearable. Now, if it is a significant problem and not just an occasional annoyance, you may be experiencing something different and I would go through standard steps (clear cache, factory reset, RMA, etc) to clear the error or replace the phone.
I think it's to do with the charger. Using chargers with higher amperage than the phone's capacity causes this. But it's harmless afaik. I could be wrong.

I use a 1.8A charger a the time... It doesn't matter if it's connected or not, mine has done it since new. A defective charger will cause all kinds of touch issues though, especially if it's voltage is too high

Using my OPO from more than a year it is fluent and works like charm. But I am recently started facing some problems while playing games and while the phone is in charging. It gets extremely overheated hard to talk on incoming calls because the display is burning like fire. Firstly it was only while gaming and charging but now it happens anytime. When i restart the device in this conditions it always got stuck at boot logo then i have to wait untill it gets cool down after sometimes it works like magic again. I think its a problem of hardware. Any help is appreciated. FYI i am learing mobile repairing but i am not that much experienced in this field so please help me out.
Anyone here already updated to oreo ? How' s it ? Can anyone share some review please ? Is the heating problem still there on oreo ? How's the software ? Any major bugs ?
I have it and im getting lags here and there. (Listening to music +chrome) and the heat problem still exists maybe worse but the battery life turned better-ish. But the lag is terrible
the lag seems occured during the phone heats up itself which trigger the cpu to reduce the processing speed to below 900mhz, i can't find a solution yet but seems like the suggestion of "repair via xperia companion" didnt work
Is anyone having a problem with the memory card error? It occurs sometimes using the camera.
