Fitbag soft leather case

My leather case from German company Fitbag arrived. It's beautifully made, from nappa leather with a microfibre lining, and was apparently tailor made to fit the phone. I can't recommend it though. While it's not as tight as it was, you not only need to dedicate both hands to the task of getting it out, you need to slide a thumbnail in the mic slot to get enough purchase.
I can see myself using this when travelling but the closeness of the fit and the lack of slashes at the opening to get a grip means I'd be quite likely to flip the slippery thing on to the pavement when trying to answer a call in a hurry.
My fault entirely for ordering badly. The pouch was clearly photographed on the company's website and will suit other buyers.

I ordered a Fitbag bag style case as well (Link to amazon). Mine is made of Alcantara and of superb quality. You do need both hands to pull the phone out, but since I moved from a Nexus One with its included Neoprene sock I wanted something similar for the Nexus 4.

I ordered the FitBAG for Samsung G3 for my Nexus from Amazon.de - As I thought it would be slightly larger so it would take the Nexus 4 with Bumper fitted - It does not.
I was after a excellent quality cover which would fit the phone with bumper attached...

Is it similar mofi pouch or similar material

Best holster pouch / clip

I currently have a Nexus 6 as my personal phone and a Samsung S5 as my business/work phone (from company). Im not happy with the sluggish performance of the S5 and the big screen as displayed from my nexus 6 would come in handy with emails / calendars and everything associated with work. Plan on either selling my Nexus 6 or JUMPing it with tmobile for a Iphone 6s and giving it to my g/f.
Anyways, in the past i was fine with the nexus 6 in my pocket even though it was pretty large... didnt bother me. But this time around If i get a nexus 6p for business i want to get a holster or holster clip for it so its easily reachable incase of a urgent email. I DONT CARE IF I LOOK LIKE A DORK.... ok maybe if i get ridiculed enough.
What i currently plan on doing is getting a spigen case (loved the one for my nexus 6) and then getting a leather pouch. But im thinking a case + clip might be less trouble / dorky.
Does anyone have suggestion and pics? All the stuff i see on amazon have so-so review and only the picture of the product. Giving a picture example of it on a person would greatly be appreciated.

I'm waiting for my Nexus 6p. Upgrading from Nexus 4 which I use with a non leather belt holster pouch which is vertical. I want to use my Nexus 6p with a Spigen rugged armour case with a matching vertical belt pouch. You're probably aware that the iPhone 6s plus is nearly identical in size to the 6p and I have identified by searching for iPhone 6s plus cases these two highly rated leather belt pouch. This is my first time posting so sorry I can't insert a link.
Blacksmith Labs Barrett Mezzano Belt Clip Holster for iPhone 6 plus. There's only a 1 mm difference between the Spigen rugged armour case height and the inner dimension of the pouch.
Waterfield iPhone 6s plus smart case. They don't have the dimensions but only says that it'll fit an iPhone 6+ plus with an Apple case.
They both look good. Pricey but the feedback is that these are top quality products. Haven't decided which one to get. I'm waiting feedback from the sellers. They have no plans to make a case for the 6p sadly.

Looking for stand alone holster suggestions.

There's a few times in the past where I have used different cases that I really liked with a holster since there was not a matching holster with the case.
Looks like I'm going to run in the same situation here and was wondering if anybody had a good line of holster vertical or horizontal that they would recommend.
I'd prefer something with a rotating belt clip on it.

Pouch with a belt clip? So like an old Blackberry one? I have a pouch from Begoos on Etsy and its great, but it doesn't have a belt clip.

Thanks, I've sworn off of Seidio though. Cheap holsters that the clips break off of all the time, horrible customer service, and other issues I've had with them. I've found some excellent cases for the 6P, just need a holster to put it in. The TUDIA OMNIX is the one I'm trying to find a holster to fit right now.

That looks very interesting. I did buy the Seidio one similar to that one for my Nexus 6P though . I bought the one for the iPhone 6 Plus. The fit wasn't perfect but very close. I stopped using it after my phone popped out once. The clip also cracked the top of my IntelliArmor TGSP.

That's interesting. I've been using the Seidio surface holster made for the iCrap 6+ with the Nillkin Nature case without any issues or the device popping out. The clip is flat on top of the device and not at an angle suggesting the device is too tall for the holster.

I'd never use Seidio products again. Terrible customer service/support, and the clips for the holsters break like candy.
I believe this Encased one is only for naked phones though.

This is great! i was looking for one of these when i got my phone when it launched. Gave up on looking for one after a couple weeks though. Just placed an order for this one. Thanks!!!

I broke the holster to my case when it got caught on a chair and broke the left side support. The holster is the type where the phone slides in vertically bottom to top. I don't like the type where the phone snaps into the holster or leather pouches.
Does anyone know if you can buy the holster ONLY - NO CASE for the nexus 6p?
I need a holster cover with swivel clip. I don’t care if it is made by same manufacturer as my current generic soft lining and hard plastic shell case. I have searched ebay, amazon and other sites in google but could only find replacement holsters if I buy another case. I have four different cases already so I am sure I can find one to fit the holster.
I have checked out options in this thread but checking if there are other ideas.

I have the same Nillkin case - is the Seidio holster you're using the one for an "uncased" iphone 6+ (http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Spring-Clip-Holster-Non-Cased-iPhone/dp/B00OBWMSBW) or did it come with the iphone 6+ case? Thanks in advance

Using the Seidio surface case holster.

Ditto on Seidio holsters breaking. I had theirs for my previous phone and wouldn't recommend it. Their design is flawed. I had an encased holster for my S6 and it worked really well. Design was probably one of the better.

Bump. I'm looking for something similar. Problem is that most of the pouches I find online are cheap and will eventually tear or break somehow.

Had one of these for my S7 and they are really nice cases. First time Caseology has made cases for Google phones. (Ignoring the rebranded Nexus 6 cases)

Couple days ago there was a navy blue version of Parallax series but now they are gone and only black version remains. Hopefully they will bring it back for order.

How are there cases by the way? They look kinda bulky.

They're a little thicker than your average 2 piece case. The thing is they are so well designed it honestly feels pretty close to as premium as a phone.

just received my case today. TL;DR I like it!
The back is textured so it makes it better handling the XL. I had a spigen rugged armor on prior and while I liked the look of that case, the back was a lil slippery. This case has almost a matte finish/feel to it which is a better IMHO. Case would be 10/10 if it had port covers for the usb c and headphone jack but thats just me

Can you post a picture from different angles? Especially the back, front and straight from the side so we can see how thick it makes the phone. I would like to buy this case

Are these cases durable? I've always been interested in them, but feared they focused on looks & feel over actual protection.

Has anyone come across a good fit yet. I'm sure I'll purchase the phone and factory sandstone protective case. Anyone have that mix and a holster?

This is the belt clip I use. I don't care much for the case inself. I picked up "Rugged Armor Ulimate Experience" case which works perfectly with the belt clip. I don't like cases with kick-stands.

Appreciate it.... Looking for one I can use with the factory case though. I know years ago I purchased the OnePlus one and someone had a great fit for it that was really for another phone. Looking for something close to that.

The clip he put should work fine. The factory case and that encased case will be very close to same size. And encased belt clips are one if the best you can get. I always buy an encased belt clip for all my phones and it fits multiple different cases.

Quick update... holster definitely will not work with the sandstone case. A little too loose.

There's also Seidio or Platinum (Bedt Buy) holsters that work. Compare the holsters they have and use the one closest to the size of the oneplus 6.

Man that sucks. I may order a s9plus belt holster and see if that works. It's slightly shorter .09. And it's gonna be one of those with the top clip.instead of a slide in case.

Try using a small piece of weather foam to take up the gap.

I bought a beautiful navy blue saffiano leather holster from Burkley Leather. It's made for the iPhone 8plus but the OnePlus 6 is the same size, trivially. And it really pops with the one plus 6 red!

Just got the supcase unicorn beetle style case on Amazon for 11$. It fits vertically in my holster from my iPhone 7 plus encased slimshield w/holster. There is a quarter inch lateral movement but it's secure that it won't fall out. Just some shimmy.

Bad news. I returned the case because of the buttons. They're too flat. I'm gonna try a rhinoshield crashguard. Hopefully it fits in there too
