[Q] Recovery without unlock bootloader

Hello,
If my problem was solved in the past and my question is stupid - just let me know.
I want to recover my text messages by using Dr. Fone or Myjad SMS Recovery. However, these apps need root first. I'm afraid that if I root my phone and unlock bootloader I will lose all my data and trying to recover my text messages will be pointless. Could somebody help me with this problem? Is there any method to root the phone without loosing all the data or is it possible that Myjad will restore my text messages after rooting and unlocking bootloader?

As far as I know "My Phone Explorer" doesn't need a rooted phone. You just need the client that can be downloaded from the Play Store and the program you can download from this link .
Edit: I think I may have missunterstood you. Do you already have a backup and are you trying to apply it or are you trying to make one?

Rooting phone without data wipe

i want to know if there's a way to root your device (for the first time) without data being wiped?
i only want root access nothing more
Getting a root access doesn't wipe out data if you have an unlocked bootloader.
You cant root your phone without unlocking the bootloader.
And to unlock the bootloader there is no way you can do that without data getting lost.
So for the first time rooting phone without loosing data is not possible I guess.

Can I root my device without a PC?

As the title says would it be possible? I have a huawei honor 8 which I badly need to root so that I can WiFi Tether again...
I have rooted in the past using PC's however the only internet I have right now is from my phone and I will most likely not have any other internet connections apart from this for a long time.
I have seen various videos on how to root using a PC but I cannot do this and won't be able to
Please, if anybody can shed some light I will be so grateful!

You have to have a PC to unlock the bootloader on this phone. Theoretically, you could do everything you need internet access for on the phone. (Download files, get unlock code, ect.) Once that is done, you transfer those files to the PC over USB. I would suggest printing out the root guide so you can have that in front of you. Then you should be able follow step by step and root your Honor 8.
Short answer: No, you need a PC but, in theory, that PC does not need internet access.
Turn on the wireless hotspot feature of your phone and connect your PC using WiFi to download the files.
Is there a safe way to root the phone without unlocking the bootloader?

[Urgent] Help need to unlock samsung j7 pin locked

Brief about phone
I need to open this phone without losing data. This is PIN locked phone[Deceased Person's Phone]
Developer Mode Disabled
Any way to unlock it.
Via
ADB
I need how to root it and remove its pin number any how.
While rooting there should not contain any risk that involves data wipe.
New update
I cant flash twrp via odin
Custom Binary block by FRP lock
Question: If i flash orginal stock rom would it delete all the files and setting stored in phone
There should not be any data loss coz it needs to open phone of deceased person.
Did you unlock the phone?
I am in a similar position with my samsung J700F.
Did you find any success mate?

You're posting in the wrong section.
Unlock bootloader automatically reset the phone. Root doesn't.
So whatever you do, back up 1st all your data. Local, cloud.
You can use migrate to backup. Its in playstore.
