Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. You'll need to put a custom recovery on your device before you can flash a Rom. Please see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2361122

[Completed] Remove the Kingroot files from root to rid of Kingroot after full Kingroot unroot

I recently installed Kingroot being that this is the only know way (that I know of though reading forums) for rooting this model of Galaxy Grand Prime with a One Tap Root. I tried flashing the Stock (Rom through Kies but I got error messages. I need to fully unroot. Is there any way that I can go into the root files and delete all the ones that is of Kingroot, because being a newbie, all I was able do was some snooping in the root files and noticed that Kingroot files where there even after I did a "full Kingroot unroot". Maybe one can guide to where and what I should delete. If this isn't possible, is there anyway that I can rid of Kingroot completely and revert to stock. I know that to do this I need to be rooted. Is there any other one tap Root that is proved with this phone model to work which will allow me to make the necessary changes to achieve my goal? I would be so happy.

Hi there,
You'd be best served asking for help from the experts who own your device here:

Good luck
Lots of thanks. I will do just that.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Usually OTA's and custom recoveries/ROM's are mutually exclusive (and when they are inclusive, they have no bearing on things like Knox).
This thread should help (particularly post 7):
> Samsung Galaxy S 5 > Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Galaxy S5 G900FD
I know, you probably already did this. There's an advantage here. If there are any snags, you can post your experience in that thread (or the linked threads) as well (once you have an XDA account). It's a Q&A forum, so your device experts are not far away.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Is there an easy way to temporarily disable root in a Galaxy J700M ?

Hello how are you. As a new member , I have a specific query . I have a Galaxy J7 SM- J700M , which is rooted, and that is why I can not use Samsung updates via OTA. I wonder if there is any app or a procedure to " temporarily suspend" the root mode , pra able to download updates and then restore it to continue using the "benefits " given by having the terminal rooted .
I hope that this forum of experts have a satisfactory answer.
Thank you., He sent a strong hug.
Nope, your only way is to flash stock ROM via Odin

Need help rooting! Thanks. [Galaxy S6 g920f]

I want to root my samsung galaxy s6 non-edge - g920f.
The problem is, I found a video where you download the twrp from google drive, I couldn't download that file since too many users had already downloaded it.
I then searched for a one-click root, which failed since the ones I found don't support 6.0.1 or are only for the edge.
Would someone mind helping me? Thanks soo much in advance everyone.
this might help
I just recently rooted my gs6 running 6.0.1 by cf-autoroot. Just type cf-autoroot android 6.0.1 and it should pop up . if it doesnt then hit me up i will send you the download link. its quite easy so you shouldnt have any problems.
Here is the TWRP;

Hello guys, i want to root too, but for rooting with CF is it required to have a unlocked bootloader? And how to unlock my bootloader because I'll be flashing some custom ROMs?
