Firmware Download? - Miscellaneous Android Development

Hi,
Is it possible to download the firmware (e.g. kdz or equivalent) for the V400 from the LG servers like how you can for phones using the IMEI, possibly using the serial number or something?
Thanks
Edit: This was posted under LG G Pad 7, somehow it has ended up under misc android development. :-/

[Q] LG G FLEX 2 Downgrade - How to?

Hi
I have a LG FLEX 2 on firmware version 5.1.1 [H955] , I am looking to downgrade the device to 5.01 .
Current software version: 15a-234-15 .
The reason why I am looking to downgrade is:
a) Root
b) My unlock counter has been permenantley locked - I can directly unlock this as I have the relevant software/hardware - but phone needs to be on the lower version first.
Do i flash with software version 10e? If no which firmware version do I use - Since my handset is GSM/UK Spec - LG Flash Tool 2014 asks to select whether it is cdma or something else . . . During this option do i select the cdma option??
Regards

Which model are you asking? H955, H950, H959 or LS996.
Ls996

if you read the forums there is no way to downgrade.
Why would you like to downgrade?
This LS996 with the latest software runs like a charm no more overheating like in ZV5 (5.0.1)
I was using the ls996 as an example. I know the sprint model can't be downgraded but hopefully anyone else who reads this also know.

i have D850 or D855. which model i have.

I just got used lg g3 D850 (in software details) but on identification sticker on back side it says D855... But IMEI is same in software and on sticker.
I cant see the android update option available in setting menu and its running android 4.4.2 version with build number KVT49L.D85010D.
I need to know which model i have in my hands and how to identify it.
Thanks and advance.
Build Number means nothing here. But if software imei matches the back sticker that says it's a D855 that is confusing but most likely it's a D855. But I'd return something like that.

First you need to find out its real model first.. Why would you want to flash D850 firmware? Its already running it from your build #

Android 7 or LineageOS on h810

So I rushed to buy refurbished lg g4 h810 from aliexpress recently only to find out that there is no official android 7 version for it (or is there? it seems like every other model has android 7), should have bought h811 or 815, they were even cheaper, but oh well. Is it at least possible to flash Lineage os android 7 on this phone?
I would also like to know how common is bootloop problem on this device? is it all devices or 10%? any idea?
Same issue. Is it possible to use the H811 ROM on the H810?
refurbished mobile will not boot any of the modified even original rom. It will brick

What was done to cause this?
If you flashed wrong model firmware. Or trying to fix it from wrong model firmware that means you’ve lost your EFS. Unless you backed it up it’s a WiFi only device.

I’d suggest returning the device if you bought it. That’s most likely a phone put together with binned parts.

This guide should help you downgrade the software on your LG TV so you can get root if you've updated to 3.30.10 like I did.
I've tried to include as much information as I can and there are 3 methods to choose from on the GitHub
This has been tested and confirmed to downgrade on an LG 43 Inch TV 2021 Model - LG-43UP75006LF https://www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-43up75006lf from Software Version 3.30.10 to 3.21.30 but should work on other LG TV models too with the relevant firmware for that TV.
Hope this helps and let me know if you've tried it
Dude this is awesome! Thanks for putting this together. Unfortunately, I cannot find a suitable previous firmware for my model(70UN6950ZUA). I got the reference list and tried all 73 models but I couldn't find any on the Korean website. I'm not giving up though. I will now scour the internet for firmware.
Well I found a the right 3.21.75 firmware for my tv using the way back machine! Unfortunately, I tried all three methods of downgrading and none of them worked… I can get to the usb software update screen but when I click update it just tells me it’s unable to update. My tv is on webOS 5.3.2-2208 software version 4.35.30 and I currently have a pending update to 4.40.09.

Thank you
With your tutorial i could downgrade my tv (wich is the same as yours, that would have helped me alot if you told wich korean model match with it) with method 3 (i like ssh on things )
You could had there is a Telegram group where there are all the lastest exploitable firmware : https://t.me/lgwebosusb
So nice job again
I have a 50" UN 70006LA and downloaded the latest firmware image from the telegram channel. All three methods fail with my current installed SW (4.40.09). Is there someone with the same issue and managed to downgrade the firmware?
Can someone search for the 32lm625bpsb firmware for me I can't find
Unfortunately, I can't find old firmware for my OLED77A19LA anywhere. Anyone knows where else to look?
This morning my unrooted OLED55G26LA tv updated to sw 03.21.45 and WebOs 7.2.0-47 (mullet marine)
Is there any way to root this tv?
I couldn't find my TV model nor any of the related models on the Korean LG website. If I try to use a different firmware is there a risk to brick my TV?
Hi there! Thanks for sharing this guide on downgrading LG TV software to get root access. It's great to see that you've included multiple methods to choose from on your GitHub page. This will be helpful to many people who have updated to version 3.30.10 and are looking to gain root access. If you need to test it professionally, I suggest using zaptest.com. Good luck, and I hope this helps!
i tried method 1 and 2, but for method 3 it doesn't give me access to the ssh client
