Android 7 or LineageOS on h810 - AT&T LG G4

So I rushed to buy refurbished lg g4 h810 from aliexpress recently only to find out that there is no official android 7 version for it (or is there? it seems like every other model has android 7), should have bought h811 or 815, they were even cheaper, but oh well. Is it at least possible to flash Lineage os android 7 on this phone?
I would also like to know how common is bootloop problem on this device? is it all devices or 10%? any idea?

Same issue. Is it possible to use the H811 ROM on the H810?

refurbished mobile will not boot any of the modified even original rom. It will brick

Honor 6, Weird Model, im desperate

Hello everyone, this is my first post, and I really do because I'm desperate, i buy honor 6 and I received a truly strange model, since configurations said to be the model "H300" , when I connect it to the computer tell me which is the model "H60-L01" and the box says "H60-L12"
I'm a little upset because I wanted a phone that could upgrade to 3.0 EMUI and really was not what I wanted.
Please, someone has a solution to this problem, expain me what have to do I am not very familiar with these temmas to update phone, I simply ask them to give me some steps to podersolucionar this problem.
sorry by my english
thx
you bought a refurbished or used honor? It seems like someone has flashed there other firmware as the stock for this model. When you turn it around so you can see the back of the phone. near the speaker on the back there should be a written text - two lines - most of the chars are chinese but in the 2nd row you should read something like: Chinese chars: H60-L12 CMIT ID: ...
If its so it can be a L12. Another way is to get CPU-Z from Play store and verify the specs with the data sheet to get sure not to got a fake.
If you bought a brand new phone and got an already used honor I would give it back and order a new one. If its not so you can revert the full stock rom with the howto here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/general/huawei-honor-6-index-t2963209
Scroll down to:3 Button Restore not working (If you change between variant example L02>L12) Or Partition been changes and cannot restore back Stock version. Use this steps below : -
But keep in mind there is a chance to brick the phone. So all things you do are on your own riks!
By the way... What was the model you bought? Honor 3C, Honor 6 L01 or Honor 6 L12?
Is it dual sim ? has NFC ? has 32gb ?
Yes, is the 32gb model
Sent from my H300 using XDA Free mobile app
So it seems your problem is solved?
how did you end up with a honor 6 running iuni from the start
that honor 6 must be a used one
its a honor 6 but running on iuni os
what is the build no
and the model no is printed on the back of the device

Is (was) CM and OxygenOS officially supported by OnePlus?

Hello,
i am new too oneplus one, i am bit confused. Was cyanogenmod up to version 13.1.2 officially supported by the manufacturer? Later they released an other OS called "OxygenOS" but as i can see, CM was longer supported and had more updates. And it stoped with Android 6.0.1, officially?
So the manufacturer supported 2 OS Versions officially?
Just asking, cause i want to sell my second Oneplus one and the buyer wants an official stock rom. Right now i have it on the latest (supported?) CM 13.1.2.

You're better off with cos13.1.2,just sell your device. And tell him to check XDA if he decides to upgrade to Nougat unofficially.
But is it an official OS which (was) supported by the manufacturer?
Yes, the OPO shipped with COS and got official support and updates up to COS 13.1.2. The software support was up to Cyanogen inc which has now shut down (I mean check the bottom back part of your phone and you'll see the branding).

Newer devices don't have the branding.
OnePlus one sets sold in China came with Color OS instead of CyanogenMod. So these sets did not have the CyanogenMod brand name at the back.
Just install CyanogenOS (not CyanogenMOD). It was officially supported by the manufacturer.
6.0.1 to 7.1.2
My OnePlus One was bought recently with Android 6.0.1 and Cyanogen OS version 13.1-ZNH2KAS1kN. I have rooted it and have been searching for some time to see if there are prerequisites involved before flashing a current ROM (7.1)? One other devices there are upgrade processes but for the life of me cannot find any threads on this subject....

I have been reading Heisenbergs threads for hours, I used his method for rooting but still do not see an answer to my question in them. I just installed [ROM][LineageOS][Android 6.0.1] TugaPower M104.0 and now I have a blank screen guess I'll go back to factory image then...

What was done to cause this?
If you flashed wrong model firmware. Or trying to fix it from wrong model firmware that means you’ve lost your EFS. Unless you backed it up it’s a WiFi only device.

I’d suggest returning the device if you bought it. That’s most likely a phone put together with binned parts.

LG G7 G710PM converted to ULM

I bought a lg g7 on ebay thinking it was the 710 ULM but investigating I realized that it was the 710pm converted to ULM. Is there any possibility to upload it to PIE since it does not update by OTA ...
return it and buy a pixel 3.
or get the modified lg up from here and the latest firmware from here
but seriously dont buy a g7. it could be great with a great rom, but there just isnt a lot of development behind it.
-Here- You can find step by step what I did to get android Pie 9 on LG G7. I had the same Phone, PM crossflashed to ULM.
LG G7 its a great phone, but if you want a phone with a large development community behind, this is not the chose one. IMO even not worth to try flash Custom Recovery or Root, there is not good rom out there and the Stock Rom with Android Pie work flawless.
Every Phone what I've have before got Custom Rom/Revovery since day One, but lately is not necessary to survive. A lot of things already are on stock rom. Anyway, I dont have any regret with this LG G7 (Good performance, Good Price $140), my last phone was a LePro 3 x727 with a great performance on Custom Rom (SD821, 4/64Gb Android 9 AOSiP, Magisk, Gcam Etc...) And I dont miss it at all...
I will try when I get home!

it works very well and its on high brightness bc thats how it is on any device on custom roms besides amoled screens that closes pixels
I bought this phone as well. It was too late to return it but I complained anyway. They gave me a $20 refund.
So all I can do is install lineage os 17 since there will be no OTA? Installing that OS or any OS looks very complicated. There is no way to upgrade from Oreo without wiping all the data?

Sadly not , but the crossflash process is not that difficult if you follow the guide .
I have sucessfully updated 2 G7's one pm(sprint) and a vm(verizon) both working pretty great on android 10. Can't speak about volte or wifi calling since I've bever used those services so if you are interested in that I can't give you any input
On the other hand you could try lineage os or any ither or the custom roms and some of them do support updates from within the same rom , no facotry reset needed unless upgrading from lets say 10 to 11
I have a PM I am trying to sell .. it was cross-flashed before I bought it.. I used as a wi-fi only phone very happily (that was my goal).. but am trying to get it saleable.... I cannot find an official Sprint ROM to flash? ie. I want to flash it back and sell it as original (ie. usable for Sprint) rather than sell as a frankenstein. Any pointers?

There is not Sprint stock Rom avaliable. Cross flash is a not-return journey. Anyway, there is nothing worng with crosflashed Roms, just a couple apps you cant download from Gplay Store, but you can grab apk from another store. On android 10 you can install some from Gplay like Netflix.

Which is what leads me to believe that most of the ‘ULM-PM’ model isn’t actually anything crossflashed but an actual ULM model ,that has imei that were simply issued to sprint assigned by lg firmware distribution division wtfever...
And that sprint G7’s simply were ulm models is all..
There may be crossflashed variant phones also BUT when u buy a bnib SEALED lg g7 and box says ulm but the sticker isn’t the ‘standard ulm’ and u look up imei and it says sprint..
well.... um yeah logic common sense wouuuuld dictate..
Thee Above^
**now if it were after the tmobile buyout then ofc the firmware would be MIGHT been ‘TM’
Any questions...
It’s already been said that most all g7 have ALL the bands but you have to enter a service menu to enable the ones the modem leaves open avail
Any other questions. .

Can I install a new OS version in my outdated device?

Hello everyone,
I have a Moto G7+ as my main phone, and the last OS version it received was Android 10.
I know that it's possible to install customs ROMs or some things like that (sorry, I don't know to much about that area).
So I was wondering if I can install the most recent Android version in this device even it's not supported. If so, can it causes me some performance problems, like a slower phone?
Thanks in advance for any help

Look into Lineage OS. I have a Moto G4 with Lineage installed and it gets fresh OTA updates each week if I want them. It's quite old, I know, but it still receives current security updates. Lineage OS is a pretty vanilla Android ROM, and if there's a Lineage ROM for your phone,it should work without issue.
