I would like to get an app working on Android 5 which uses more of Dalvik.
Is this possible?

I can tell you, Dalvik is gone in 5.0. There is only Art Runtime. There is no way to have dalvik running on lollipop.

Hello.
Today, installed Android L LPV81C
I just wanted to check, If L has runtime ART. But not, I installed the Art Checker from the Play Store and I saw Dalvik (see attachments)
I don't know if it is true.
Any suggestions to enable art??

Android L only has ART. Dalvik is removed in Android L. The app is reporting ART/Dalvik incorrectly due to incompatibility with Android L

If you search for dalvik in the settings search it will bring up the developer options. It doesn't show a dalvik option but it must still be in the code somewhere.

Uses ART but a believe it's custom art that Samsung uses

According to Doms diagnostics I have the following on my S6
Dalvik version 2.1.0
OS kernel 3.10.61-4497415

mine is the same.
Dalvik is still ON the software, its not fully removed, its just not active or being used. So any software looking for it will find it and tell you the version. That does not mean it's in use.

Hi! So I'm using a Samsung galaxy a3 running android 5.0.2 non rooted. I was trying to install the apps MIUI music anf Amazon underground. Whenever I tried to install Amazon underground, I got the message "app not installed" with only the option *done" after about 5 seconds, and the same with MIUI music. So I uninstalled a few apps that I thought may be using the problem, and I was able to install Amazon, and reinstall them after. But when it came to MIUI music, it still wouldn't work. I've heard of a problem on lollipop not allowing 2 apps with the same permissions to exist on your device, so could this be it? I do have other music apps such as Spotify, deezer(both patched versions) and TinyTunes. I would greatly appreciate any help here.

Recently acquired a tablet lazer MID-9108CM, by several searches I found I find it very similar or even equal to google mid , SELECLINE MID-9108cm and Xtreme.
The difficulty begins as soon as the installation of applications not bring the play store, brings a similar which is the lazer maker however the error to download any application. already installed the play store strength but she's always saying it was interrupted.
the version of Android is 4.1.1 jelly bean, did some can help you work around this problem or even perhaps to put a version of android capable and complete maybe 4.2.2

the problem is that it does not source brings the play store, went into the recovery mode volume + key and butom on / off and then wipe data / factory reset. but solves nothing, in my opinion I think so it goes with a new version of the system

Hello guys, I am unable to update my system and am stuck at EMUI 5.1
I have tried everything I found but I am (most importantly) stuck at unlocking the bootloader and accroding to this topic (https://www.xda-developers.com/huawei-honor-request-bootloader-unlock-code/) I might be too late to do so ..
When I try to update it downloads the update, seems like installing but when the phone restarts it ask me to connect to wifi but when I try to do so it keeps searching for WIFI with no result ...
I dunno what to do else but really want to wipe all data and install the fresh EMUI 8 .. what are my possibilities? Is there any way to force flash data (like format C .. I am an IT guy but not experienced with droids ...
thx for any help - this is really desperate
PS: if any info is needed please let me know.. will provide as much as possible
EDIT: I have found this https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/emui-unlock-site-page-t3779658/page2 ... I tried to ask HUAWEI support to provide me with me unlock code ... we will see
EDIT2: they already contacted me from H support but claimed that they have no rights to generate the code anymore (since July 24, 2018) ..
What are my other possibilities? I have an un-update-able phone now and update is prompting every week (which is quite bothering already ..
