I want it.
Already someone has this phone?
I am ordering right now at bangood.com for 132 usd + free shipping.
My comunication with official leagoo pre-sale ([email protected]):
Hello, is possible to update rom at home (OTA or download) in your Leagoo Elite 5, to fix bugs and problems?
Is phone rooted?
Do you sell and how much cost digitizer or display + digitizer for this model?
To update you need flash your system .
What is the problem for your screen please ?
Hello,
thanks for answer.
I want to buy your phone. Right now I have no problem, I just wanted to know how it will solved.
Because I broke digitizer at my previous Jiayu G4 and producers were not willing to sell any replacement part.
Jiayu also dos not updates ROM, so I had to use alternative ROM because of some bugs and problems.
Also my pre-previous phone HTC had software problems and when they released a new rom, there were new problems. For example, after the last update opening messages needs 40s. Before update works messages well.
Thats why Im asking.
1) Im interested how often do you release updates (fixing bugs).
2) Its possible to buy spare parts, exactly digitizer and lcd which is most often broken.
Our update time is not setted to one time ,engineer will do update once here is bugs .
Yes our accessory may be selling online after a while of phone's sale, you can buy online or send the phone to us for repair .
Ok thank for answer.
I dont mean accessory (battery, charger) but parts (display, speaker). Are you selling parts?
Is your phone rooted?
For the parts which you cannot find online you can contact us .
LEAGOO phones comes with android system ,NO root.

I think Leagoo Elite 1 better than Leagoo Elite 5.

Do you have it? Im interested in stability of original rom, is it freezing, crashing, rebooting?
Specification looks good, more RAM and ROM, more cores, gorilla glass, ...
But Elite 1 has 2400 mAh battery and 1920*1080 px screen. This could by deathly combination for battery life.

I have this phone and it is absolutely amazing, especially seeing the price. No crashes, no freezes, nice UI and modified android os. The only problem I have with this phone is the fact that at the moment it seems to be totally unrootable. I've tried nearly every android and pc app and nothing works.

Visit 4pda forum or ask ghost45 to make a recovery for your phone,so you can root it.

You need custom recovery first then you can flash SuperSU through that recovery.

What custom recovery would you recommend and how would I go about doing this? I apologize for my noobyness, but I'm used to one-click rooting.

Cwm recovery or twrp recovery are best recoveries. Request developer to make this recovery.

Hi, can you please share some pictures taken from the camera?
Curious to see how well the sony sensor is utilized on this phone
Also, can you check if xposed works on the leagoo rom once you've got twrp installed?
How's the battery life so far and what's the longest SOT yet? Apparently the geekbench battery score for elite 5 is almost 14 hours.

I don't know what xposed it, but I'll see if I can check it out at a later date.
Battery life seems to be pretty darn good. I'm on 83% battery life at the moment, sitting idle and DU Battery Saver Pro is indicating I should have about 10h40 left, 60h if I switch to airplane mode. I have managed to get DU Battery Saver to say I'd have over 120h of battery life on airplane mode when I'm on a full charge.
As for pictures:

Thanks, but can you also post the uncompressed pictures as well?
You haven't try xposed yet? Oh you're gonna love it
It basically allows to customize your stock ROM without having to flash a different ROM
For example you can use these popular xposed tweaks
Youtubeadaway - Just like the in name, blocks ads on YouTube app permanently
Gravitybox - You can customize everything from statusbar, lockscreen, power menu and others.
Starting with lollipop, you'll need to flash framework zip file with your custom recovery. If your device boots normally after flashing it, then congratz, xposed is compatible. If not, your device gets stuck in a bootloop.
Which is why you'll need to make a backup of your ROM with twrp if something happens.

The battery life last the usual time.
It all depends how many services you have connected.
So if you use the 3G network, Wifi and GPS all day, it will last 24h.
Otherwise, if you don't use them that much it can last 2 full days, maybe 2 days and a half.
The phone itself is good. Having a quad core phone with 1gb ram just for $199.99 is not for everyone.
The phone is very fast and the display has a nice quality (great resolution).
Some parts could be better, like the wifi and gps antenna. The wi-fi antenna doesn't have the range as it should be..but it is ok.
The phone definitely worth its price.
The factory only produced 200 for the first batch. And they are already almost sold. So if you could buy one you can consider yourself a lucky person.
So it all depends how do you use the phone and how often.
The main battery draining responsible is the huge display it has.
Capacitative buttons?
I was considering getting this phone but am curious to know if it has full home, back, menu buttons, it looks like it just has one.

I'm still waiting on my i9 to arrive but I have a ZP950+ that only has one hard button similar to i9. With the large display I find that the soft buttons don't take up much screen real estate and I rarely use the hard button.
Any updates about the phone?

The Android version of this phone is really 4.2.2?
can anyone show me how to flash the rom on i9 step by step? is there any tool requirement for that? thnk u
Looking forward to my device arriving in the next week then I'll be following this thread very closely
My arrives within 8 days ...
I look forward ...
JohnnyInBriz said:
I received my I9 a few days ago and it came installed with Android 4.2.2 but it was difficult to use with just the back button so I installed "I9-XUNI-0410v5ok" 4.2.1 version from http://bbs.ydss.cn. This has the virtual soft keys and is much nicer to use.
Everything is working great except for 3G data. Unfortunately I didn't check this on the original version and I've somehow deleted the backup I made. If anyone has a link to the 4.2.2 software I'd appreciate it.
I've tried a few roms now and the bands available for GSM and UMTS have been different so I guess it's a firmware issue. I need to be able to use WCDMA-GSM-900 to get 3G and faster data. If anyone knows how the available bands are set please let me know. The engineer mode has the one I need greyed out.
Apart from the above issues this is a very nice phone and is better value (~$80 cheaper) I think than the ZP950+ that I also have.

Great to hear from someone who has got one, can I ask how is the GPS reception and general WIFI/mobile signal strength? The MTK6577 phones had problems is the 6589 any better?
Thanks
Si
GPS is really quick once it's setup to use EPO and GPS-A. Just yesterday I was surprised that it locked onto 8 satellites in 11 seconds indoors. WIFI/mobile signal strength are same or better than other phones I have(or had). I've never had a 6577 phone so I can't compare.
Did anyone buy their I9 from goophone.hk? If so could you please register on http://bbs.goophone.hk/ and register your phone on there and download the latest I9 4.2.2 software.
You may need to use Google translate but it's on this page: http://bbs.goophone.hk/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6345&extra=page%3D1%26filter%3Dtypeid%26typeid%3D65%26typeid%3D65

Basically, backup(!) including internal 'sd' partition, install meteos-mtk6589-rom-edit-4gb-en.apk (linked above) and run, select partition size, reboot into recovery, wipe data, then for me I had to format /system else restoring nandroid failed. Finally, restore backup, reboot, mount as usb storage, format the internal drive in Windows, then dismount and I then formatted Phone Storage in Android before copying back everything to that partition.

Shame, such an empty thread.
Today I would like to contribute some information.
I own a GT99 for about a month. Overall I am very happy with the phone, but the GPS performance was really not good at all. I tried every software fix I could find on the Internet. Things improved a little bit but the result was still not good enough. Then, inspired by a video on You Tube I started looking on the hardware side of the story. To cut it short: Connect a approx. 10 cm long fine wire to the GPS antenna underneath the back cover and the phones GPS comes to life. No longer intermittent reception and the first fix is normally under 10 seconds now.
Cheers

Glad it worked for you too.
In the meantime I am convinced, this little modification also helped with the WiFi throughput. Seems to download a lot faster with the "enhanced" antenna. :good:
In any case, I recommend this to all GT99 users. It is quite harmless (you don't even have to dismantle you phone) and it really makes a difference.

Nope, all find for me. Might be worth checking logcat and seeing what's causing it to reboot.
Has anyone tired the MobileUncle Tools app to change the volume levels on this GT99? I've set most correctly but I can't seem to find what controls the speaker when Google Now voice search 'dings' or reads aloud the results, it's painfully loud. Any pointers?

Hmm, there must be something. Only thing I can suggest is completely wiping (after backing up) everything, reflash the 802 rom and just use the minimal sim card, google account etc and see how it goes, slowly adding stuff back in.

So far so good. No reboots. We will see.
There is even a 2.0!

* GPS not working even its enabled.
I want to root the device or flash with BTU rom but not able to get into Odin mode every-time I tried to get to Download Mode(Odin mode) it take me to "Factory Mode", I tried all way to get into download mode but none helped.
* Key combination: Vol - + Home+ Pwr
* Adb reboot download
* Restart phone and hold Vol - + home
Note: using Vol+ I can get into recovery mode but not download mode
I just wanted to mention, its working fine for Call with any Carrier.
Please help!!

The G930F is the international version with the Exynos and not the Snapdragon, which one do you have?
You bought a FAKE S7. It will never be compatible with odin and S7 firmwares.
Yep its a fake, the mt6580 is a mediatek processor most commonly found in cheap Chinese devices.

Thank you so much Travis Bickle, kykint, gsmyth for quick response
@travis it says Snapdragon
So looks like I got cheated by the guy and now stuck with this Chinese clone of S7.
Is there anyway I can root it and get rid of that Factory Mode and the adware?? As rest of the phone is really amazing, quality of picture, sound/video quality, fast charging and performance except the battery life.
So if I can remove the adware and get it rooted the phone is still usable for few years.
Please suggest.!!

One thing I could suggest is to disable a few apps from your phone. Check for the presence of SystemLocker and GoogleVending - that might account for most of the malware showing up especially when wifi is enabled.

You're welcome! There might be a few more depending on the ROM used. If you could give me the boot.prop and/or system folder I might try on coming up with a fix.
Oh and out of curiosity, can you take a pic or two of the phone in question? Usually with fakes they come with a slightly smaller screen hence the borders and/or thicker bezels. That's one tipoff with a fake Samsung device compared to the real thing.

The gap between the top of the home button and the bottom of the screen looks too big on that phone, it's much closer to the screen on the S7 (G930F)

Hard to tell from those pics, just turn it on and see if it has a thick black bezel around the screen like this one on the right, if it does then its a fake https://i.ytimg.com/vi/AzKnmffM2K4/maxresdefault.jpg

Do any of you all know anything about this one?
They claim it to have a "real" 820 Snap in it.
...I think at best case, a octa MTK and of course everything will be plastic.
G930f have sd820?
Enviado desde mi E6603 mediante Tapatalk
The real Samsung g930 phones have 820 (or Exynos in variants), The site I posted is a clone phone, that claims to have the real 820 snap processor in it. I am wondering how/if it can be true????
There are many ways to distinguish from a fake to a real s7, just youtube it.
- The fingerprint scanner on the fake one works with any fingers
- I bet the antutu score on the fake will be significantly lower than the real due to cheap outdated hardware
- battery, as you already know, is terrible on the fake
- No heart rate monitor on the fake, even if there are, it will just read random fake numbers
- The print on the box and manual of the fake are significantly lower than the real in terms of quality print, and even content are not the same.
- The fake one will display false specs on every monitor software such as 4.00GB ram (when it actually has like 512MB or something stupid like that) and snapdragon CPU when it actually has a MediaTek chinese cpu

Looks like we have a slightly different device then; mine had the microphone pinhole on the other side. And yeah, I am still looking for that damn Z6U030HA_V101En firmware. Haven't heard from anyone with the same ROM so far. :/
Friends,
Finally, I was able to get details for the phone its HDC S7 which is clone of Samsung S7, I was able to locate ROM for it on needrom and able to flash it.
Now the problem that I found is the phone doesn't connect to T mobile 4G LTE network, its only showing 2G and that is causing the GPS issue.
I am able to see AT&T 3G so looks its only Tmobile that has issue with this phone, I tried to add network ID myself but that didnt helped. Do anyone know if there is working solution for HDC S7 4G LTE network issue? Or suggestion on any alternative ROM for HDC S7 G930?
Hi, I have the same phone and I need the firmware because I flashed a wrong one. Can you give me a backup firmware from this device? Thanks

Vernee X

Hi All,
I recently got a Vernee X, and i have been attempting to Root it, to no avail. i am aware that some of these chinese phones have locked boot-loaders, or that you have to request to be allowed to root certain ones, im assuming that its something along these lines, as i am unable to root in the usual manner.
My question is does anyone know, if its possible to root, or is it too new, or if i do in fact need to unlock the bootloader, if so how to do it, or if i am missing something? i appreciate any advice, that anyone might have, i figured perhaps someone else has been in this position before.

I confirm that the Rom stock has several bugs. then it is very slow. this smartphone has a hardware that could be exploited better. i am hoping that this community can come up with some custom roms for the vernee x . I hope soon
after a few weeks of use, I can say that even if from the hardware point of view this smartphone vernee x is really remarkable:
- battery is excellent: even with various stresses I can finish three days. Never seen such a thing. And, also, it recharges really fast.
- satisfactory display and , with its 6 GB of ram and 128 ROM worth the money spent.
unfortunately, everything is not supported by adequate software.
photo and video compartment can be improved.
The fingerprint works only for unlocking but does not have any influence (practically it is as if it did not exist) on the apps that support it.
I tried to install sensor management apps but they do not work. Sometimes he "feels" his finger once and then goes off, sometimes he does not "feel" it.
There are no gesture like the dt2w or better known as double tap to awaken the cell (but is it so complicated to implement it in kernel?).
When I open some applications, for exple e-mail app, it takes a while to view leaving a nice white screen for about ten seconds.
I really hope that there are improvements because I would really like to abandon it: by now I have taken pleasure in the tranquility that gives me the battery
The phones battery life is excellent.
Both SIM CARDS are 4G
The Cameras are not very good - you need sunny days
It's smooth once it gets going but stutters here and there.
It is very well built with great button travel and very low tolerances with the fit and finish.
The screen is adequate. It's well constructed, sharp but the blacks are grey and there is some light bleed.
The back cover is some form of plastic NOT metal.
It feels good in the hand - even though it is quite thick. It's a very comfortable phone.
I have several flagship phones and you can feel, hear and see the difference. However - @200$ this is a supreme effort.
The phone looks like a flagship, handles nearly as well and absolutely buries everything in sight with its battery.
It has an FM radio!
It's very difficult for me to put this phone down!
Onward.
any rom development from any one for vernee x . please i want to see a lineage 14.1 or 15.1 port to the vernee x .
please i want to see also madOS port to the vernee x. i hope soon
Vernee X How to opend band 4
Hello Guys. I just buy a Vernee X and I find out the phone don't have band 4, so I can't get 4g. What is the best way to configure or get it? because is not listed in system.

With 'settings', Wi-Fi and Mobile network I can choose 2G, 3G and 4G...

General Down side of this phone and review !!

Crazy throttle. cant even have a stable 60fps gaming drop frame frequently unless remove game optimise service. Hope for fix in future ota. Gpu speed wont even go more than 500mhz when we have 840mhz max speed. I know because i rooted my phone. Tested game pubg, freefire, lol wildrift , mobile legend
Small battery. if u use 120hz adaptive mode it wont even last for 3 hour normal usage. Fb whatapps kakao youtube etc...
Takes forever to charge. 0 to 100% 2 hour with my 90watt charger and 5a cable since this phone only support 15w
The rest is nothing major. Awesome phone.
It takes 1h 20 minutes with an 15W pd compatible charger. Battery is better then I expected. 15 hours with 5:30 SOT on second charge. It will get better when it's done learning your usage patterns. This is with adaptive refresh rate and enhanced processing on.
I don't know, nor do I care about games. This is not a gaming phone .
How’d you root it if I may ask? Do you have the snapdragon variant or is it exynos? (If the latter variant even exists)

All flip 3 use snapdragon no exynos.
Unlock bootloader power down and press both vol key and plug in usb after that follow on screen instruction. Same step to lock back for warranty purpose. After unlock still able to recieve ota.(unless install magisk)
Download flip 3 firmware according to your firmware model use google search for firmware or use frija.
Extract the firmware AP file and copy boot.img file then patch it with magisk. And flash the patch boot.img using odin

There are a couple for European countries. I'm waiting for sammobile to publish them.
Hi, have the Z Flip 3 Korean edition. No way to merge call?
Almost 1 year with it. beside the batery problem, I find the camera in this phone to be basic. I come from having galaxy s 21 wich has un amazing camera. There is only one thing why i have this phone. the size is so conevenient it fits in almos every pocket. when samsung find a way to add a great camera and great battery, the z flip wont have competitors.
