So I own a Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 and I have it rooted using king of roots.I was occasionaly experiencing tablet freezing and then restarting on its own.Recently, while I was away,I think it downloaded some updates or something. When I tried to look at it,it restarted and from that time it gives me only a small amount of time like 10 seconds or something and then it restarts again and again.I tried to hard reset it half a dozen of times but everytime i reboot it everything is the same and it keep restarting like before.Any ideas on how to fix this ?I would really appreciate your help here guys.
so i tried to recover it using odin but still nothing happened.any ideas?

I have had this tab for a few weeks and noticed that when it is in sleep mode the screen tends to go on and off randomly. Am I missing a setting or is this an issue. It is rooted and I am running GO Launcher. Any clues?
Mine re-boot randomly. So, I always kill the sound because I don't want to wake up at midnight by booting sound.
Usually my GTP reboot every 1~2 days, and became soft brick every 3~4 days. I should hard reset to boot it again.
What I have done to my GTP? All vanila. Original rom from factory, didn't root, just install 10~14 apps.
Mine kept rebooting randomly, and became a brick one day (hard brick). I tried to so soft reset, hard reset, factory reset, Odin and re-write Original ROM and etc...
Nothing worked. So, sent to Samsung service center. My tab was only 3 month old.
After fixed, random re-boot keeps happening.
As of last night my tab 2 (p3100) has been playing up, have it running a pac rom, not updated in a while but all was working fine. Now when I do get it on, it lags a lot on home screen, can only really access anything for about 30 seconds before its practically unusable. When I try to power off or reboot it begins the process but ends up freezing, only way I can get it properly off it to plug it in to charge and then hold power for ages. Then getting it on again takes ages. Only thing I recall doing prior to these issues was installing the peel remote earlier that day, maybe just a coincidence but after that it all went wrong. I've just tried a factory reset and data wipe, seemed to initially solve the problem but after a few mins back to the same issues, any ideas?

Try flashing another ROM, like CM 10.2 or one of the stock-based ROMs. Make sure to wipe data, system and cache before flashing. If the issue still persists, try restoring a backup that you know worked.
Will give that a go, thanks.

My Samsung Galaxy P3110 suddenly keeps restarting itself 2 weeks ago until now.
I did hard reset using POWER button + VOLUMN UP button, even it says everything was wiped, but when the table get started, everything are still there, even my passwords and wallpapers.
Then it will start itself again. It does it about 10 - 20 seconds after it started.
When I manually removed widgets, uninstall apps, after it restarts, they are still there.
I did used odin and follow some instructions I found on the internet, even it says "PASS", but in real, it doesn't work for anything, the problem is still there.
My tablet is running under CyanogenMod.
Is there anyone can help me with this?
I will be so much appreciate if you guys can help me fix the problem.
Thankz in advance!
Hi,
I am using Xperia L C2104 (Android 4.2.2) for almost 3 years.
Yesterday, I manually restarted the phone. After that it kept continuously restarting.
Even when I booted to Safe Mode, it kept continuously restarting.
After a few hours, I tried again and it started working OK in Safe Mode. I took a backup and uninstalled most of the third-party apps.
Then I tried booting into normal mode and it worked OK.
After using the phone in normal mode for few hours, it restarted on its own.
It again kept on continuously restarting. After several attempts, it started working OK in Safe Mode.
I am currently using it in Safe Mode.
I am planning to take it to Sony service center in 1-2 days.
Any idea what could be going wrong?
Do you think a built-in app (Google etc) could be causing this problem?
Do you think a Factory Reset would help?
Or, do you think it could be a hardware problem?
Thanks for your help.
When I was browsing on chrome my tab automatically restarted but I didnt mind it much. **** got real when it once again restarted and then fell in a reboot loop. I just threw it and thought it will automatically fix itself and it did. AND it was a false alarm, the tab stopped restarting again and again for perhaps 10 min then it once again restarted but this time it was mucn more serious. It didnt start back up and kept vibrating. I tried to power it up but it failed.
It isnt booting but keeps vibrating, any solution other than going to repair center?

You definitely damaged the hardware in some kind of way, repair the damage to the hardware or get a new tablet.
