Is any one losing lte then on the phone after new update? ? No VoLTE just 4g ??

Is any one losing lte when you are using you phone it going to 4g not VoLTE just 4g

Does your area support volte? My understanding is that TMOBILE still can't get it to work properly.

I lose my 4g from time to time, in very strong signal areas, since the latest update. And I cant get it back unless I reboot or toggle airplane mode.

It has 800Mhz 1x Advanced support for Voice calls, it doesn't have 800Mhz LTE support
My current hotel (I live in SoCal, but commute to Silicon Valley every week) is in an unannounced LTE market (San Jose Metro, in city of Santa Clara) but has great LTE signal and speed. Maybe I'll do a(n unofficial) battery-life test in the next couple of days.

800Mhz LTE AND 2.5GHz LTE support; the latter to use Clearwire's upcoming LTE network.
There have been some faint signs of LTE appearing in my area. I've gotten it to connect for a minute or two and then it goes back to 3g, I managed to get a speed test and got ~10Mbps down and 7Mbps up. Still nowhere near as fast as it could be but hopefully once the network leaves its initial build out phase it'll be stable and fast.

Ha! The minimum I would be satisfied with is stable 3-4Mbps speed with wide coverage and no data caps.

[Q] Why dont ATT LTE bands work on tmobile 3g

To my understanding tmobile 3g runs on aws 1700/2100 while one x's lte has both 1700/2100 bands so whats the reason behind all this that doesn't let tmobiles 3g run on its lte bands...and sorry i know that there's other threads saying it doesn't work but i just wanted to know why
it probably needs to be configured, have you added the correct data needed. Plus does tmobile even have LTE bands? News to me... i know 3g but lte?
The LTE radio hardware is completely different than the 3G (UMTS/HSPA) hardware. They have nothing to do with each other. Having frequency compatibility on a certain band on 3G doesn't get you the same compatibility on LTE. Same goes for EDGE/2G. For instance having a phone with 1900 MHz compatibility on 2G will not allow you to get 3G signal on the 1900 MHz band.

Nope, no amount of software or setting tinkering will make the LTE radio work on T-Mob's HSPA+ network.

Using: http://www.worldtimezone.com/gsm.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexus_5 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands Italy 3g is all 2100 MHz which is band 1. So either you have a radio that's less band 1 friendly for 3g.
Recommendations: 1) Try a different modem: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands
2) It may be bad hardware. You could take the phone apart and try to fix it or RMA it if it still has a warranty.
3) Live with it.

LG G Style H634 unlocked, T-Mobile blocked the phone to use it's data?

Hello, I have my H634 (from Cricket) unlocked.
and recently switched to T-Mobile.
I know the phone might not 100% support T-Mobile network but want to give a try.
so I have put the T-Mobile Sim and I manually punch in the APN information.
Then I tried to access internet and it goes to T-Mobile website says my data plan not support this device.
Sounds like since no T-Mobile connect and it goes to it's partner connection but they refused to let you use it (since tmobile have to pay).
any idea I can force to enable to network connection in this case?
Did you call T-Mobile?
I thought Cricket,Verizon,Sprint,Boost was a cdma company not gsm like Tmobile,Metro,AT&T.

installing uk official rom on sprint

I bought a galaxy s5 sprint and i know its us model so what i want to do is i would like to install uk official rom or CyanogenMod rom which is made for uk not the sprint version.
I just want to know can i do that i dont want the sprint version as i am living in the uk and i didnt know the phone is us model so now i am stuck with it. Would appreciate your help
if its a G900P, then youre going to be best served going with the KLTESPR version of cyanogenmod. Technically, you can flash any ROM on it as long as you use the kltespr baseband, kernel and radio on it, but that can get sticky. Best bet is just to find a stripped down version of an AOSP ROM and install it. Itll make it as un-sprinty as possible

ok thanks for the info and so far its running fine the only problem i am having is i dont have 4g it only stays on 3g and i have tried cyanogenmod same thing but then i get hspa as well but no 4g, how can i get 4g?
what model # is it? its either the G900p, G900v, G900a or G900t (most likely). I ask because it could just be the data icons. My G900P only showed the 3G icon when it was running hspa+ until i changed some stuff around. BTW, hspa+ is 4G. LTE (long term evolution) is a made up term, not a name of a cell technology. 4G was first called that by sprint when they used ClearWire on the Evo4G. LTE+ is a different thing, which the S5 isnt capable of. If youre getting the h+ icon, then youre already on the right path. You might need to enable the right bands on the phone to get the full speed(which isnt a newb task)
Also, it doesnt really matter in the slightest if its a US model, since they all have the exact same hardware(minus the xynos processor versions, which havent really been discussed much here at all). A little discussion and changing stuff can get it to where it needs to be, of that, im sure.
---------- Post added at 09:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:38 PM ----------
another thing to note, what carrier are you using? Orange? Vodafone? Are they strictly GSM (like most EU carriers)? if so, then you shouldnt be having much trouble at all. The SSU.apk and a custom ROM that allows you to change APN settings should get you there.

also, i recommend MOAR 7.0. Its a very smooth ROM. I havent used any CM ROMs in quite a while because the gear 2 neo on my wrinst wont pair with CM ROMs, not sure why tho. MOAR is TW based, but its an excellent ROM. I think the problem youre having is the bands in the radio of the phone. Tou can enable the other bands to get LTE, but im not sure what bands T-Mob uses for LTE.

ok thanks bro i will try the link you posted and see if it works
Forgive me if this is too obvious, but have you gone into Settings -> More Networks -> Mobile networks -> Network mode and picked an appropriate mode for your network (presumably GSM/UMTS)? And did yo adjust the roaming settings?
Also, the G900P was built with a focus on working well on Sprint's (USA) CDMA network. The G900P has some hardware capability to work on non-USA networks, but not great hardware capability like some of the other Galaxy S5 variants. It's possible that there just aren't any compatible 4G networks where you live.
Here's are the frequencies/protocols the G9000P supports:
LTE: Band 25/26/41 CDMA 1x/EVDO Rev.A: 800/1900MHz; HSPA+/UMTS: 850/900/1900/2100MHz; GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz

actually, all USA S5s support all LTE bands. Its not a cakewalk to add them all to the phone, as the modem is what is limiting access to all bands (Sammy want to see more phones), here is the thread on how to do so
