[Q] help, problems with phone call

hi everyone, please help me, my htc Inspire has a little problem with the phone calls:
first the volume is to high even in when i put in to minimum, even higher that speaker.
second, the person on the other side of the call does not listen to me, only listen his own eco.
i have literally press all the buttons to try to fix it, but it does not work, please help me.... thanks

Is your phone running the stock rom, or one you've flashed into it?

i will try it, but i don't thing it will solve the volume problem; also when i make a call, it doesn´t sound until i press speaker button, then i press speaker button again and then it sounds from from where it is supposed to, but with high volume, and the other person, only listen eco from himself...

Make sure TTY mode is off
Settings>Call>TTY Mode. It's for the hearing impaired. I had a similar issue with my headset:

If TTY was checked, you might try restarting or soft resetting the phone after un-checking.

in fact it was unchecked, but i will UN-check and i will restart this now...

nop, anything works.... somebody knows what`s happening???

Might try an email to HTC Support. I used them once and they responded within a day. Google it for the site.

Low volume when calling

Hi everybody, I have a strange problem with my phone.
As title said, when I call for some time (like ca. 20mins or more) my volume completely drop if I use capsule audio and when I use stereo mode the other person hear a whistle. I've tried to change sim and reset phone but nothing changes. Have you any idea on how to fix this thing or do you think is hardware related? Just for information: at the beginning there wasn't that problem. Please help me

Mic problem during calling

Anyone having mic problem with P40 pro during the call? The other side cannot hear me when I use normal mode to talk. But when I turn on the speaker it is fixed and they can hear me well. Is it hardware ot software problem? Mine is 10.1.0.154.
It is annoying. I have tried factory reset, safe mode and still having the problem.
But it seems fine in whatsapp and messenger call though.
Please help me.

I just want to know that it is software or hardware issue. Because this is very annoying.

Try to go in Support app and then at Troubleshooting...one of those options from there should test mic also as I remember.

Hello, has your microphone returned to normal?
I have the same problem, the call works well on the speaker because it uses the upper microphone. But the bottom microphone has a very low volume, making the other person not hear the voice on calls.
That's what I deduced from the tests and the support app. I'm afraid of being a hardware problem, I recently purchased the smartphone.
The microphone appears to be wet or dirty.

I am still having the problem. How to clear the microphone? The hole is very small.

Question Low Call Speaker Volume

Hello to all and thanks for reading this...
This device is amazing, but when i use speaker for calling the sound is very low, i cant hear anything if i'm in the car or other outdoor places.
this problem is software related because if i call someone trough (es Watsapp) and use Speaker, the loudness is much more high and i can hear very well the caller.
there is a way to fix this problem? can i increase the calling volume ??

hi you can try restarting your phone and seeing if that fixes it, if not you can see go to setting and search 'clear speaker' and follow its instructions. or you can update your phone to latest version. if that fails then you are probably in a place that is too noisy.
ask again if you need help.

Question Top speaker sound instead of receiver

Hello everyone,
I've got the phone a few days ago and I've noticed that when I'm in call the sound comes from top speaker instead of the receiver (earpiece).
I went to CIT to test it and I found out that it's true, the sound really comes from the top speaker. Also I've found out that the receiver volume doesn't change anything, but if you mute the media there will be no sound at all.
I've tried factory reseting the phone and also tried to do the CIT in safe mode, but no luck.
I have the following question, is it only my device that has this problem or are there more of you with the same problem? I'm asking because I'm willing to ask for a replacement and I want to see if this is only happening with my device.
