Hello, I've been having this problem for a while now. It's basically what I said in the title. Sometimes when I start recording, a random thin/white vertical line that covers like 50% of the screen in height appears for half a second and then it's gone. Sometimes it happens more than once in one video. Is this solvable?

Is anyone having display issues with the bottom 3 pixel rows?
It's not entirely annoying.
The whole display is shifted up 3 pixels. (not the physical display)
The 3 rows of pixels on the bottom stretch out the image.
You can see what I mean if you use the ChargerBar application.
By sending the bar to the bottom 1px in height, the bar is stretched out by 3px.
Then send the bar up to the top and it disappears.
You would have to increase the height of the bar by 3px.
I want to show a video. But I don't have a camera...
Here's a video of the issue.

I see it too... running cm7. Something needs to be done to the display, just change the number a little. If linuxbozo was here he could easily but i have no idea how sorry. Just try to ignore it, thats what i do. It is hardly noticible.
I see it on mine running emancipation....
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA
Its normal, noticed it as well.
I think its two pixels, not 3
What's strange is that when I reboot the device it's normal, the way it should look on the bottom. Once I turn off the screen for the first time and then turn it back on, this issue happens, and it stays until the device is rebooted again.
Hello
A strange thing happen (maybe since the beginning ?) on the shield's screen but to reproduce it , it's not easy...
This thing is a vertical black line on the left side of the screen that appears one second and disappear...i can often reproduce it with a dark background and by scroll down and up the 'tool bar' (where there are the clock, wifi, battery...)
Really strange...
Bye !
Update : I do not reproduce the problem today...
Hello, I've been having a lot of trouble finding a rom that would work perfectly but where many issues were resolved by switching back to KitKat, one issue still remains. There's a faint horizontal stripe of green pixels visible on dark backgrounds and is maybe 1-2 pixels thick. Sometimes if flashes, sometimes it goes away as soon as I touch the screen and most of the time it's not present at all. Also, it does not appear at the same position each time. I cannot find the source of that and I've disabled HW overlay to see if it helps but it does not. Any ideas what could the cause be? In the attachment you can see the stripe on the lower part of the screen.
Right after the "powered by android" flash screen I get a blank white screen followed by three swiping movements, on the thrid swipe before the loop there is a very obvious frame drop as the animation lags at 5-10 fps. Is my model faulty or does this has something to do with the software, did factory reset and x companion repair but to no avail. Ahh.. I almost forgot, the phone also tend to crash 2 times a month and at a very bad time a couple of time a day, sometimes it just lags but sometimes a purple noise appeared covering 2/3 of the display from the bottom before crashing.
EDIT: battery performance is ????, amazing I might say, it doesn't seem to affected by it.

Xperia boot animations typically are low res and low framerates, if you see lag during the boot animation its probably because your device is trying to load something.
Hi guys,
I have noticed that sometimes when filming anything that has lights I get odd little artifacts that move around the screen even when the picture is still.
Also happens when photographing stars (extra stars appear lol).
In the pics provided the dots are not lights on the stage, in the video they move around. When I was filming they were not present on the screen.
I was wondering if anyone else had this and if they did how to stop it ?
Not too big a deal but not perfect either.
Thanks
