Docking Station for Pure? - X Style (Pure) Accessories

Ordered a FUZ dock. It has a couple of thicknesses of the pad, so I am going to see if it will work with my soon to be Pure. Will post.

Interested in the results. I was hoping to find one that works with the Pure.

I think i'm just going to design and print one after my phone gets here Wednesday. Wish I had exact dimensions before it got here.

I hope that the Seidio dock for my S4 will work with the XPE.
http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-desktop-charging-cradle-kit-p/bd3-crdssx1.htm
Connector is in the right direction
Compatible with with: LG Nexus 4 / Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note 2, Skyrocket, Epic 4G Touch, Galaxy S II (AT&T, T-Mobile, International), Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, Google Nexus S, Google Nexus S 4G / Motorola Moto X (2013)

My Sinjimoru Dock works great. I had to use a USB to Micro USB adapter to connect the charging cables but it recognizes the super charger just fine.

I'm using the Belkin PowerHouse dock and it works great. I have it connected to the original Motorola Turbo Charger 15 wall wart.

I have been using this dock for some days now. And it has been working great for me also. I also have mine plugged into a Motorola Turbo Charger 15 wall wart. It shows as TurboCharging when connected. So the cable has to be USB 2.0.

You have to pair it with last year's Motorola Turbo Charger brick. It won't do it by itself.
Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk

I see. I did pair it with a charger that does give me turbo when connected directly. But it seems to lose turbo once I put the cradle in between by phone and my quick charger. I will try with another charger I have and see if I get better results.
Do you have a link for the one you can confirm works for you?
Thx

Try docking with the screen unlocked. You should see the TurboCharge message show up. It's been working for me with the dock and 15 TurboCharge wall plug.
You can also try docking with the device totally off. You will see the TurboCharge message for sure then.
And of course, the device has to be below 100% charged when trying.

You sirs are correct. Getting Turbo through the craddle.
Thanks!!!

Anyone know if the Belkin dock with fit with a Supcase one?

My dock from Seidio works fine and passes thru turbo charging

I have a seidio surface case and would like to get a charging dock
Are you guys using cases with the docks you are recommending?

I highly recommend the Newtrent units
We have a few floating around the house. The newer ones charge via MicroUSB so there's no extra wallwart to misplace, and you can get the Samsung adapters from Dealextreme (as mentioned) or from Newtrent. I second the IMP500 recommendation - nice and compact, and even has an included LED flashlight and laser pointer. It's my cat's favorite toy.:silly:

I have a "PowerGen Duo-Power 8400mAh", which has just enough power to charge the tablet once from 20% to full. Got it from amazon, but I think it's floating around under a couple of different brand names.
Came with a Samsung adapter and a couple others. Can be charged itself via micro USB. So on a longer tour I am actually recharging that thing with something I built that runs on my bike's dynamo (With another 30Whrs battery buffer in between). Endless possibilities
The New Trent iTorch 52D comes with a cable specifically labeled for the Galaxy Tab. $29.95 at Amazon.

Anywhere to buy a charger for the TP?

Hey guys, I have broken my charger that came with the TP, and my phone charger that only outputs 0.5V doesn't do the job. I've been looking a for replacement but I haven't been too successful finding one, and especially one that ships to Canada. I would prefer the official charger as I would think that it'd be the most efficient way to go, and but if there's a charger that does a better job, and I'm open to it!
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction where I could find one, and one that is easy on the wallet would be bonus!
Thanks in advance,
Regards. :good:

I buy a lot of computer, fishing and photography stuff on eBay. So far I haven't been burnt. The seller has to have over 1000 transactions and a rating over 99% before I buy from them.
radioshack, best buy, fry's, office depot, office max, hell wall mart probably has one that will work.
Loads of third party ones will work, but the Touchpad will only charge properly with an official one, limited to half speed otherwise I think.
I accidentally threw mine away I bought a replacement from eBay and it works great its just like the original

If you are going to buy a new charger, I'd consider the Touchpad wireless charger. I think you can find them for around $30, and it's awesome.
Also, I bought one of these, and it works fine for charging the Touchpad and everything else I have.

if you still have your usb cable then you can buy just about any tablet charger, even one for an ipad as long as its just the 'brick' portion, or one from a samsung or asus tab....you just need the volts & amps to match up

Why are they going Kickstarter? They had a preorder going then cancelled. Now this? I guess this way because they can't mass produce a full production run and further delay to August? It was supposed to be delayed til July IIRC. Now no go. For 49 bux (current available Early Bird), that's not horrible. I always wanted the Tylt for home. Let's see if they can Kickstart this this time.

my biggest complaint about all these wireless charges is when i lay my nexus 4 flat on them its sitting right on the speaker and i cant hear my alarm. i had to put some weatherstripping on my current wireless charger so that it lifts the bottom of the phone just slightly off of the charger so the speaker isnt blocked...and still allows it to connect to charge

Can't you just put the phone in landscape on the charger so that the speaker is uncovered? Yes it would hang, but the speaker wouldn't be covered. This is of course if you have the LG flat charger. I am unsure if this would work on the Energizer one, that one is a bit bigger lol.
Does anybody know if this can do a trickle charge (i.e. when phone reaches 100%, tylt will stop charging it, but when phone reaches down to 95%, will it start charging it back up to 100% again).?

ORZLY USB A to USB C Cable Set

I thought I'd share as they finally got delivered. Still says it will be delivered on the 13TH of next month...
Orzly® Multi-Colour Value Pack of USB 2.0 Type C (USB-C) to Type A (USB-A) Cables (1M) for use with OnePlus 2, Nokia N1 Tablet, Lenovo Zuk Z1, and Other Type-C Supported Smartphones & Tablets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013RMG5WY/
They are USB 2.0, but I know I'll need some spare cables at home, in the car and at work.
The cables are much nicer than I thought it would be for this price. They actually are a beautiful color with a clear surrounding on them as you can see in the pictures. The end all have this really nice speckled metallic appearance. The connectors look like they're pretty well made and nothing feels cheap. I will say the cables themselves are a little floppier that I was expecting but I've noticed this from flat cables a lot more.
Only cost me $19 for the 4 cables. Let me know if you guys have any questions, I'll answer what I can.

They may, but I don't care, that's why they are spares. I've got a few others on the way and one of the dual port ones from Google work the long cable.
thanks these will probably work great for a nice slow trickle charge through usb at work!

That's what I was thinking, when you can't find your good cable and need something to keep it alive, or have to move some files or pictures at work.
I have these but haven't used then yet. They feel very cheap to me. I don't expect more than 500mA. I'm sure they'll be great for a trickle charge until they fall apart. I expect to keep them for that reason only, even if they only last 6 months.

(REVIEW) Tronsmart 2 port Quick Charge 2.0 Wall Charger*

(REVIEW) Tronsmart 2 port Quick Charge 2.0 Wall Charger*
I received this Tronsmart 2 port Quick Charge 2.0 wall charger for free in exchange for an honest review.
Look/Feel
First impressions were very good. The charger was packed well and came with two good quality micro usb cables. The actual charger has a good sturdy feel and seems to be made well and out of quality materials. The black and green colors are nice to look at.
If I have one complaint, it is the placement of the plug/jacks. With the current placement, the unit with a usb cable plugged in sticks out from the wall a minimum of 4.5” making it less than idea for direct wall plug in behind a shelf/nightstand etc. A right angle outlet adapter will remedy this, or plug into a surge protector where its slim factor only takes up one slot. Not a deal breaker as a surge protector is a good idea anyway for your $700 cell phone.**
Performance
The two phones I own that accept quick charging immediately recognized the charger and indicated the phones were “Fast Charging” just like with the OEM units. I tried three different phones and using the Tronsmart voltage tester, I recorded the following MAX volts/amps with the screen off.
- LG v10 :***9.09V/1.70A
- Samsung Note 4:**8.98V/1.59A
- Moto Droid Mini:***5.11V/1.24A
So the charger with Volt IQ did a good job of recognizing the phone and applying an appropriate amount of power. I found that it charged my LG v10 as fast as or maybe slightly faster than the OEM charger.
Overall impressions are excellent, I would buy this product. It is well made, did not get hot, performs great and looks nice. I see the 5 port desktop version in my future as we have a handful of phones and tablets in our household and it would also be perfect for travel.
Based on the Amazon reviews alone, I'd say Tronsmart is here to stay.
