Hey guys, I have broken my charger that came with the TP, and my phone charger that only outputs 0.5V doesn't do the job. I've been looking a for replacement but I haven't been too successful finding one, and especially one that ships to Canada. I would prefer the official charger as I would think that it'd be the most efficient way to go, and but if there's a charger that does a better job, and I'm open to it!
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction where I could find one, and one that is easy on the wallet would be bonus!
Thanks in advance,
Regards. :good:

I buy a lot of computer, fishing and photography stuff on eBay. So far I haven't been burnt. The seller has to have over 1000 transactions and a rating over 99% before I buy from them.
radioshack, best buy, fry's, office depot, office max, hell wall mart probably has one that will work.
Loads of third party ones will work, but the Touchpad will only charge properly with an official one, limited to half speed otherwise I think.
I accidentally threw mine away I bought a replacement from eBay and it works great its just like the original

If you are going to buy a new charger, I'd consider the Touchpad wireless charger. I think you can find them for around $30, and it's awesome.
Also, I bought one of these, and it works fine for charging the Touchpad and everything else I have.

if you still have your usb cable then you can buy just about any tablet charger, even one for an ipad as long as its just the 'brick' portion, or one from a samsung or asus tab....you just need the volts & amps to match up

I see in your photo you've got an international guenine charger. Could you told me if in this one you've got multiple wall adaptator??
I'm french and I'm seeking for an EU charger, very difficult to find today.
I'm seeking an adaptator with 2 round connection.
Do you have this in your package???

Yeah, you can usually find these things on eBay for pennies. Maybe in a week or two...
I have one of these that I occasionally use for my G1. It isnt amazing and charges very slowly, but with a high quality battery it should help a little on the go!

Ok I'm in as well
i found this one
ebay Item number: 120640014972 (new users aka me cannot post external links )
which is a battery powered portable charger rated at 5000maH and charges the battery in the phone.
that battery cover worries me so i dont want to have to open it too often. also it means you dont have to wait for the device to reboot. not sure how accurate that 5000mah is, but i should be able to fit that and my phone in my pocket for a couple of hours to charge.
not ideal, but i dont trust non-brand batteries, especially if im importing them from china since i have no legal comeback if it explodes in my phone because they are not a UK company.
This is the link -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....e-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1#ht_2465wt_1139
It does look really good actually. I like that you can charge two devices at one too. Anyone have any experience of these? I think I'll order one...
Mobilefun do one for around £20 that docks the phone and has a slot for a spare battery to charge aswell. Not in stock last I looked, but ill be buying one of those.

We have a few floating around the house. The newer ones charge via MicroUSB so there's no extra wallwart to misplace, and you can get the Samsung adapters from Dealextreme (as mentioned) or from Newtrent. I second the IMP500 recommendation - nice and compact, and even has an included LED flashlight and laser pointer. It's my cat's favorite toy.:silly:

I have a "PowerGen Duo-Power 8400mAh", which has just enough power to charge the tablet once from 20% to full. Got it from amazon, but I think it's floating around under a couple of different brand names.
Came with a Samsung adapter and a couple others. Can be charged itself via micro USB. So on a longer tour I am actually recharging that thing with something I built that runs on my bike's dynamo (With another 30Whrs battery buffer in between). Endless possibilities

For those of you interested in the Fatboy Pillow, do note that inside the pillow part is the exact same DT-900 charger that many have reported problems with (see jmquez above). Not sure if the pillow cures those, but it's worth keeping in mind before spending ~$100.

Problem is none should be having the slipping issue, especially if I'm paying 70 bucks for one. Why risk wasting my money on something I'm not sure will not have a problem. I'll pass on going through all of that hassle and look elsewhere (which I'm currently doing).

You have to pair it with last year's Motorola Turbo Charger brick. It won't do it by itself.
Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
I see. I did pair it with a charger that does give me turbo when connected directly. But it seems to lose turbo once I put the cradle in between by phone and my quick charger. I will try with another charger I have and see if I get better results.
Do you have a link for the one you can confirm works for you?

Try docking with the screen unlocked. You should see the TurboCharge message show up. It's been working for me with the dock and 15 TurboCharge wall plug.
You can also try docking with the device totally off. You will see the TurboCharge message for sure then.
And of course, the device has to be below 100% charged when trying.

Anyone know if the Belkin dock with fit with a Supcase one?
My dock from Seidio works fine and passes thru turbo charging
I have a seidio surface case and would like to get a charging dock
Are you guys using cases with the docks you are recommending?
