Rapidly flashing light (strobe) is used by many intelligence agencies around the world. Rapidly flashing light does not allow eyes to focus, which causes instant blindness.
You can find more details about the mechanism of the strobe on the Internet.
Usually strobe light is using to blind the enemy, or to reach the trance state (during the interrogation or hypnosis + specific strobe lights in night clubs).
WARNING! Fast blinking light causes epileptic seizures in 10% of accidents.
This app is created for the self-defense purposes .
After downloading the blinding flashlight you can always feel safe in the dark.
In addition to blinking available normal flashlight. Flash frequency is easily adjusted. The maximum blinding rate (16 Hz) - the most effective and immediate blindness, available only after purchasing the application.
The strength of the blinding also depends on the flashlight power on your device.

BallVenture for Android (sort-of like Bounce for Nokia)

I released my first game on Android (BallVenture) and would like to know people's opinion on it. Basically its a ball that you can control with your finger (fling it on screen) or trackball (if you have one). The goal is to reach a vortex in each level, and each level introduces new traps/challenges that prevent you from reaching it (harder every level).
Yeah it's sort-of like Bounce but from a top view and it has some very nice 2D graphics.
So would you play it? And what would you change in it?

First of all, this is a pretty neat game. However, I have only played it for five minutes and I have two pieces of constructive criticism. These are just based on what I feel personally, so please do not be offended by what I have to say:
1) The volume control: I feel that you should be able to control it with the hard volume keys (rocker for my nexus one) and that should adjust media volume, but it does not. You have to go into options and that's sort of a pain if you want to adjust volume in-game / on-the-fly.
2) The pause button: I was trying to pause the game to type this response and could not figure it out. Logically, to me, it makes more sense o use the menu key as a pause button as opposed to the back key.
3) Screen timeout: After X amount of minutes no change has been made, screen should turn off. Seems that the game forces it to stay on.
Again, these are just personal opinions I have formed in a few minutes of downloading the product. I will continue to post if I find things but if the full version costs, I don't feel it is one application I would pay for.
EDIT: Unfortunately, I died on the second level and realized I don't have the patience to play this game. The ball bouncing off the walls into spikes angers me in ways it should not... haha.

[APP][4.4+]CF.lumen PRO [root] [v2.74]

Hello XDA folks,
I present to you CF.lumen PRO [root] Android App.
It is a interesting app which can change the colors of your screen with the position of sun in the sky. When using CF.lumen PRO with default setting your display will have a warmer tint (liek lower color temperature) when the sun is down. This reduces the stain effect on the eyes. Blue light actually push your brain to stay awake and a lower color temperature dims the effect of blue color on the screen. It also reduces the effort that a human brain have to make in order to stay awake in the night time. Other than this there are many other things as well which include filtering of red light during the sleeping hours, light sensor and much more.
Features -
· Light sensor
The light sensor can be used to automagically adjust the color: switch to the sleep filter in full dark, or to the day filter (usually none) under bright lights.
Because light sensor quality varies wildly between devices, a calibration option is provided to experiment with.
· Color filters
Several filters are provided. Those named after a color (red, green, blue, amber, salmon) do not limit the display to those colors, but convert the displayed image to grayscale first, then display that image in levels of the selected color. This preserves details that would otherwise be lost.
Grayscale, invert colors, temperature adjustment and custom R/G/B adjustment filters are also provided.

{Free} Light Pollution Map

Light Pollution Map allows you to easily locate dark sites where the sky will not be affected by light pollution, allowing the best observance, star gazing, and photography of the night sky.
Features:
• High resolution, accurate data.
• Uses your device's GPS to find nearby dark locations.
• Search for new locations anywhere.
• Save your favorite locations. (pro version)
• Up to 12 levels of zoom (pro version)
• Adjust opacity of the map
• 90% coverage of the entire world
• Navigate to your saved locations using Google Maps
• Moon information such as moon phase, moonrise, and moonset.
The map automatically locates you via GPS, and you can find locations with an easy search. Or just look around the map! It's easy to save your favorite dark sites, just push and hold a spot on the map and click the save button. Is the light pollution map overlay too much? You can adjust the opacity to your liking! The map also features an easy to use legend, so you can be sure you are getting the darkest skies possible for star gazing or night time photography. Note: Legend only matches colors on 100% opacity setting.
Also included is information on the Moon, such as the Moon's phase, moonrise time, and moonset time! And guess what? That moon information is not only good for the current day, but any day in the future!
Note: Free version is ad-supported, has lower resolution/accuracy, and does not allow you to save your favorite locations. Free version also has limited zoom levels. Upgrade to the pro version in-app for a very small fee of $0.99 to remove ads and unlock all pro features.
Note: Light Pollution Map loads data online. Internet connection or wifi is required, and we are not responsible for any data usage chargers from your provider.

Always-On Pace - an app that shows pace and time with always-on display

This thread is no longer updated, use this link instead: https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/themes/fitness-apps-speed-pace-heart-rate-t3709791/
This app is similar to Always-On Speed, but instead of speed it shows pace, which is more useful for runners. Here is the full description:
This application shows time and your pace while keeping the device awake. It does not log your activity. Please read the information below before using the app.
Make sure that GPS is enabled before starting the app. In order to turn on GPS, start or start and stop a workout in the S Health app or enable GPS manually on your smartphone.
• The app cannot enable GPS on your phone automatically.
• The app is only as accurate as your phone's GPS.
• Touch the speed indicator three times at an interval of at least one second to change the unit of pace (min/km → min/mi). The app will remember your choice next time you launch it.
There are several features that reduce power consumption (currently at ~17% per hour):
• The rotating bezel on the Gear S2 can be used to adjust the screen brightness. Note: in bright sunlight the brightness level locks at 100% and cannot be adjusted.
• Only one type of subpixels is used at a time, either red, green or blue.
• As soon as you stop moving, the device will start vibrating every 10 seconds. The app will close automatically after 1.5 to 3 minutes of inactivity.
Features that prevent screen burn-in:
• Numbers move up and down the screen.
• Tap the time indicator to change the font color from green to alternating red and blue. Note: red or blue text has very poor readability in bright sunlight.
• Font size changes.

Updated the app to show the average pace calculated for the last 60 seconds.
