I just flashed RemICS ROM v1.7 in my phone. Everything is working fine but there's a one problem MY PHONE WON'T CONNECT TO MY PC
Before flashing the ROM I was on stock 2.3.6 DDLF2. I used these instruction to root my phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30336871&postcount=8
After rooting my device I had some problem with USB CONNECTION but then i just restarted my PC and it started working. But after flashing RemICS the phone won't connect to my pc. There is even no notification in my status bar like it came before. When I connect my phone to my laptop via USB cable there is no change in my phone it just starts charging.
I really love this ROM but I can't have it with this bug please help guys.
(ALSO ONE MORE THING: WHEN I FLASHED THIS ROM THERE WAS NO MUSIC PLAYER APP!! THIS IS STRANGE RIGHT? I THINK THERE MUST BE SOME WRONG WITH MY ZIP FILE. WILL RE-FLASHING WITH A NEW ZIP FILE SOLVE THIS TWO PROBLEMS?)
Whenever I connect my phone to the PC I'm not getting the connecting options..like whether to use the USB mode or MTP device etc. This issue started after I flashed JMP Xtream rom 3 months back. I told my problem to the service center but they are saying that they cannot help me.
I tried using my friends data cable but still no luck. But whenever I connect the phone its getting detected as an unrecognized device. I can charge the phone but cannot connect it. Also USB OTG is not getting detected even by using apps like stickmount and USB host controller..
Im irritated with the prob and require some help...any solutions for this prob..Im currently using Suvi v12 rom...
Try to install ur phone drivers correctly
Or i can suggest u to do this:
Download moborobo pc suite
Enable usb debugging on ur mobile
Connect ur phone to pc
Now open moborobo
You can also use wifi to connect to ur pc

same here..srsly irritated from this problem ...i evn made CWM backup of stock ICS from a friend's A110 still no USB options coming... plz help devs..

Do u have wifi?
Then u can use moborobo pc suite

Phone is not getting detected at all when connected with cable...Its still coming as unrecognized device...
Wifi is the only option available or using the bluetooth connectivity option....
But there should have been an option to restore those connection options back...specially after flashing stock rom using CWM...
Download vcom drivers

Try reverting to stock rom or flash some other custom rom as drivers are unable to serve.OR you can (after making a backup) wipe all your data.....restore factory settings on your fone as dis will remove any virus or faulty setting(some system paths nt shown in general).

Tried installing VCOM drivers long back but still its getting detected as unrecognized device...
Also tried restoring through back up of stock rom v2 using cwm but still no luck
Just now tried by restoring to factory settings but no luck again....
Instead of installing drivers on comp..are there drivers for phone and all??
"Run "regedit"and select the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/MountedDevices" folder. See all the "Dos Devices" listed? You'll have one entry for each physically mounted drive (HDD or Disc) plus you'll have one show up for each USB drive you attempt to insert. Double click each device listed and seeifyou seetextsaying something like"U.S.B.S.T.O.R...". Once you find that device, right click it and select "Rename". Now change the drive letter to something unused... like Q: or something. Close regedit, disconnect the USB device and reconnect again.
This will fix ur problem:thumbup:

If nothing is helping u den u must revert it to stock rom(unrooted) n get ir warranty back n take it to service crntre.
After everything goes right u can root it again and do vatever u want.

Guys my Micromax canvas 2 is not detected by any PC. But it charges well. I heard that it is a problem in most of the canvas 2 phones. I found a solution to wipe cache and then connect. But it is of no luck. Kindly help me to get this canvas 2 connected to pc. I'm afraid what can I do if the device is bricked.
if you have checked your setting ->developer options
Than try changing Kernel & ROM
My MMX A110Q has gone on a bootloop. (I guess its hard bricked). I do not have usb debugging on
I tried reinstalling stock rom with SPFlash Tool but didnt work as the phone does not stay connected to pc for more than 2 seconds. Installed the drivers in my PC successfully. Now what should i do in this case. I used this tool "Mt657xRepartition_EN.apk". Which lead to this issue. Please do reply.
