HELP NEEDED...
I Just installed a rom manager app then flash recovery thru Rom Manager..
then my phone restarted & freeze on lg logo... plz help..
The same happened to me, even when i put it to charge, it keeps rebooting (LG logo appears then reboot).
Even with the battery out, i've plugged into my USB and it keeps connecting and disconnecting. I've tried connecting it with the VOL+ pressed, it disconnects 2-3 times, and it remains connected; in Device Manager it appears as LGE Mobile USB Serial Port (COM12).
The drivers are installed; i've tried SmartFlashTool, i always get "We can't communicate with specific port"; i've tried LG Flash tool, nothing happens, it does not detect it..
Can anyome please help?

Uninstall all LG drivers and software first, restart PC then install as explained. You must be logged onto PC as admin.

I tried to downgrade the kitkat version because I couldn't update my apps, using a flash tool.
It then shut down and now does not turn on at all. When I plug into the computer the USB gets into a cycle/loop of connect and disconnect. Please help me if you have the time.

no. But I think it goes on '''META MODE'" ONLY on the computer for a few seconds.

Check device manager in your pc when you connect your phone, is it showing MTK 65xx preloader

It shows Mediatek preloader usb vcom port (com7) alternating with mtk usb port (com6).

U must have flashed some other device's firmware and which guide u have followed

I used this one.

I downloaded the latest firmware from
"THIS is the latest original ROW firmware (PC Flash Tool installation)"
This whole guide was fine, it worked for me.
But the problem was when I tried to downgrade the firmware to an older version.
I tried to replace the lastest official firmware with this one ROM Android 4.4.2 (older official needrom(dot)com/download/lenovo-a536/

except I downloaded the lenovo a536 stock rom.
the only thing I did different was that I plugged in (META MODE) and THEN pressed download or else the usb would never be detected (they both show different COM numerals.)
After that I firmly held the whole usb into the phone during the whole flashing, or else it might get automatically disconnected again.
Then I updated/upgraded to the latest firmware, And it is all optimal. :good:

My phone is not booting , unable to install USB VCOM Drivers and it is constantly going off while installing and unable to install driver ,phone vibrates shows logo but it goes in bootloop pls help urgent:crying:

What do u mean by "it is constantly going off while installing"
Does it boot in recovery mode? Please be as specific as you can while posting questions.

I don't think you need to connect phone during installing drivers and phone will stay connected after properly installing DA Vcom drivers

Hi, please I need your help. I tried to flash stock ROM but I hard bricked my phone. When I connect phone with computer I'm holding volume up button. In device manager it shows "MediaTek USB Port (COM4)" but after three seconds it disconnect. This is why I can't flash ROM. It's everytime disconnect after three seconds.. Please help me.

Hi, i recently flashed samsung s5 rom by santosh for mmx a250 in my mmx a117.. Bt it was accidental.. Bt i did not face any prob of booting or installing another rom.. The problem is my pc wont recognize my usb device and i cannot connect my phone or sd card with pc.. Under device manager it says usb device not recognized. Since i flashed wrong rom this problem occur. I cannot connect with sp tools also for flashing stock rom.. Tried everything but of no use. Please someone help me.
Recently i tried flashing cwm recovery using sp flash tools. I followed an online tutorial which asked me to specifically download the boot. Img (patched) and recovery. Img, which was cwm. I insatlled all the drivers as asked then I turned off my device as asked and connected the device using usb cable after pressing the download button on sp flash tools. After a few seconds i saw the red line which is the starting of the flashing process, and then i received an error 'b_rom error" or something like that... I forgot, i dont have screenshot .
The phone is not responding since then, but when i connect the phone to my laptop the phone is recognised as 'mediatek da com port' but this driver doesnt work if i want to flash the stock rom using the sp flash tools, the internet says that i need the 'mediatek preloader driver' which is supposed to appear for 2 seconds in the device manager section and dissapear, but alas this doesnt appear in my case, and i guess this is really important for flashing the stock rom using sp flash tools. I tried many ways to install the mtk preloader driver but even of it installs it is not compatible with my device. I cant find this driver and hence i cant bring my phone back from the dead
If any member could help me here i would be really thankful , i have the stock rom downloaded and all the drivers as asked in various tutorials so i am helpless now. Please someone respond to this thread...
My device is xolo 8x 1000i with mediatek 6592 octacore chip.

If you can see DA VCOM port when u connect the phone that means there is no need of mtk preloader to appear. You can try flashing the stock firmware.
If you really want to see mtk preloader 65xx, then right click on DA vcom port and click uninstall drivers. Then you will see mtk preloader 65xx for 2 seconds everytime you connect the phone.

first of all thankx for your swift reply
and coming to the driver part.. i tried uninstalling the da drivers but it reverted to someother driver nit mtk preloader it had a different name.... whatsoever
and finally... my device is up and running its a miracle.... i kept it for a whole day and later i plugged in the charger and viola the phone was discharged and it started charging
also i have another problem with which i ll start a thread.. do keep an eye out please sir

my micromax unite 2 was bricked i tried to unbrick using sp flash tool...but sp flash tool never detect my device.......i think that my usb debugging was turned off.......if it is due to off usb debugging.....then pls tell me how to enable it when device is bricked......and if its not due to turned off usb debugging.....then pls me solution for sp flash tool for not detecting my device...........my pc is running on windows 10.....pls help me regarding this.....please..........thank you
