In the moment I use OnePlus One 64GB and I am quite happy with it, however bigger screen ( I hope I`ll like it), AMOLED display, standard MicroUSB port and the GREAT Oppo`s quick charge is a deal breaker for me!!! I would upgrade to OnePlus Two but it has nothing to offer for me.
I wish to see many custom roms for this phone and it`d be great if it had [email protected] video recording with sound!! YAY

bear in the my the Oppo charger is only free with the OPPO Find 7A. i managed to get it free with my order for the R7 PLus however via customer services!
im looking forward to the battery life to be honest!

Hi, where do you get the information that R7 Plus is shipped with anything different then VOOC charger?

weird - I had to go through customer services to get it to add to my order free. which it shouldn't have been anyway because the R7 Plus isn't actually part of the promotion.
I guess you were lucky it worked in the shopping basket! mine is sitting in my order and will despatch with the handset - which is fine by me.

just checked again and its not free which is per the total also shown in your screenshot - which is correct as per their offer. you were seriously lucky for it to work automatically. you did order the R7 PLus yeh?

When I clicked on the button on my screenshot, it automaticaly applied the discount as follows:
Item Subtotal: £294.96
Postage & Packing: £3.96
Promotion Applied: -£29.13
Total Before VAT: £269.79
VAT: £53.96
Order Total: £323.75
So I got it for free, however it doesnt apply the discount now, you are right.

well... FInd 9 will be announced by then... and will take months to take place on market.... I sold my OnePlus One weeks ago and really dont want to wait for new phone any longer, I was waiting over 3 weeks to get the R7+ on 18th Sept and now, I have to wait another 2 weeks on top of that. I dont know, there is a good chance I`ll get a different phone in meantime as this is totally sucks... People messaging me a lot, but am not online because dont have any other android phone lol so they get grumpy

just noticed amazon issued a £10 GBP voucher due to the delay. not too bad ...

Hopefully they'll honour the preorders... I sold my oneplus one weeks ago, and I passed on the invite I received for the oneplus two because I'd preordered this.
Using my old HTC Desire at the minute - gingerbread was a nice blast from the past for about an hour, but I'm ready to go back to a modern phone again now.

Yey - apparently demand was high which is why they took it off for further preorders.

Would it kill them to get a few into the stores by the launch date? Best buy takes forever getting products lately. I may go down to my local best buy anyway and see if they really have any in store yet.

Like das0527, I was able to request mine shipped.
Unfortunately for me, instead of my normal work location in Delaware (no sales tax), I'm on a work trip until early August so I had it shipped to me in Arizona (sales tax). $42.60 for getting it now with earning RewardZone points, why does everything always cost more during a work trip?
Order status is still "Order in process of being fulfilled; Usually ships in 0 - 1 days.". Will complain here if it doesn't ship tomorrow.
I got a shipping confirmation this morning, it should be here Thursday/Friday.

Oh, I didn't mean that it wasn't available for shipping. When you check to see if there is in-store stock, it says "ship to store". In other words there aren't any on the shelves.
Just meant that if they are available to ship to people and to the stores, just seems like they could bother to put a few on the shelves already.
The 32gb tf300 was available for weeks at microcenter before they ever got around to having them in-store at Best Buy.
I'll probably have one shipped - no problem - but I'm hoping they at least have one on display - I would at least like to see the new display before purchase. I'm curious to see how it compares to the Acer a700 before I commit to one or the other.
You see - thats the point of being a brick and mortar store - its the big advantage that they have over Amazon and a zillion other online retailers - at Best Buy you can actually walk in see stuff and actually go home with it. Best buy seems to forget this. If they don't have in store inventory, then they lose their advantage, and early adopters will all have pre-orders with Amazon.

And if I knew Amazon had some in stock, I would have ordered from there. When I looked at them, they didn't have any. Best Buy sucks because they don't keep anything new stocked lol. You're completely right.
But I did finally get to track my tablet. It's expected to be here Friday. It's completely possible it could get here Thursday, but I expected Friday.

Ok so they get them at their distribution warehouses from asus on the 16th as promised, you expect them to be on shelves across the country at 10am the next morning? Or maybe you'd rather they not offer any for shipment to you until they're in the stores?

Why shouldn't they be on the shelves? If they can arrive at your house, then they can arrive at a Best Buy store. Its business. If you're in it to win, then you make it happen.
Otherwise you become Comp USA or Circuit City or Blockbuster or Borders Books or Eastman Kodak or Fudruckers or General Motors or Friendly's or KB toys or Fortunoff or Filene's Basement or Kmart or 6th Avenue Electronics or ........Best Buy.......

Because they're not at your house, they were shipped to you the same day(or day later) than they shipped to the stores. Add to that that they dont ship one product to the stores they ship everything that needs to go out once or twice a week.
Honestly impatience isn't what hurts B&Ms, most people dont track releases and need items 10 minutes after they roll off the assembly line, the reason B&Ms are going out of business is the overhead of shipping and maintaining the stores themselves. as stated it's a shame because for some things it's preferable to have a place to try things out before you buy or quickly return or exchange items, but it's likely within 10 years that will no longer be the case due to the overhead that internet sites do not need to incur. However for good or bad within a couple years all internet sites will be required to collect sales tax, amazon i believe will start next year. That should help B&Ms to an extent.

Oh and those lines for the iPud...thing from that fruit company....sleeping outside of stores waiting for them to open....yup people would never want something the moment it's released.....
Though of course you're right about overhead...thats the biggest killer of the B&M store...all the more reason that places like Best Buy have to work harder. Use their asset of a physical presence....or accept the inevitable now and become internet only....
I was being quite obsessive the last few days so I kept checking BB's website, then I finally saw yesterday that they posted the 32gb TF700 with "Available Soon." Checked back right at midnight and saw that you can order it for in-store pickup so today I took my TF300T back and exchanged it for the TF700. I lucked out and had a couple of days left before my 60-day return policy expired. I was scared they were gonna give me a hard time but they exchanged it, no questions asked.

I've already written to Samsung to bring this awesome accessory to the states. I could only find one European website that would sell it but the prohibitive shipping cost of $90 plus the actual item price makes it a no go.
You can certainly find a ceramic band for the S2 (or even a steel band but it won't match the S2's color scheme), however it'll most definitely have that hideous gap between the watch and the first link. Give Samsung a call or write as well so that maybe in large enough request we can get it over here at a reasonable price sooner rather than later.
Don't waste your time on Ebay, Aliexpress, China Wholesale, DH Gate, Amazon or whatever. They simply do not have anything that will fit. The 20mm fit is rare and if in fact you do buy one, -again-, it'll have that unconvincing tacked on after thought look that you'll see all over in pics on this forum with Gear S2 owners whom are sadly showing off their ill fitting ware. I'd gladly pay a few extra pennies for the svelte look in comparison.
This item has been available mainly in France, Belgium and a couple other countries for approximately 2 months now after the official unveiling back in late January. Let me know if you have any luck. I certainly can't be the only person wanting this super classy band.
BTW the Euro site you can buy in on and still has it in stock if you have the extra cash is (hardware.nl). I'm guessing the total USA dollars would be well over $250. Which would be ridiculous. I reason that if Samsung sold this product through normal official U.S. vessels it'd run about $80. A price that I'm cool with.

If you read through to the following reply post, you'll find that I detailed how I had made the preorder purchase on this original webpage http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/wea...ET-SCR73MBEGUJ and that'd I'd give my impressions when I was shipped the item. Sadly this is never going to happen.
The Band apparently turns out to be a myth.
{Keep in mind I've successfully received previously pre-ordered items from Samsung but this one is different and highly suspect. My credit card funds locked into the transaction and withdrawn when the item is shipped is typical, but this one is weird.}
The Original Ceramic band (ET-SCR73MBEGUJ) is now mysteriously missing from Samsung's official site. I had placed my pre-order with no idea on availability. The pre-order buy button was first removed, then the item itself. I just went ahead and canceled my order after logging into my Samsung account and speaking to representatives that have no clue as to what's going on with said product. My pre-order sat in limbo for about a month and a half. It is still listed on Amazon however as a pre-order as well but this has turned out to be a crock of bull. I now doubt that this official band will ever be released in the states.
Anyone knows what gives? Perhaps Samsung didn't get enough orders to make it worth their while, or maybe they somehow said screw it "we'll put our resources into shipping the gear fit 2". Whatever the reason is though, I'm extremely disappointed with how this release has been handled and would be highly skeptical about their commitment to any new product announcements. Supporting any fashion accessory in the future from me is highly unlikely being that I look at Apple and envy all the customization they've released for even their hideous Apple thing. Samsung has had a history of not following through with their products and software. It's time for them to acknowledge this fact and start paying attention to the details and respecting their customers and fans. One that I still am even today but.....

Purchase one
I purchased one on eb Samsung ET-SCR73MBEGWW Ceramic Strap Armband für Gear S2 Classic black. It is almost identical to the cheaper one I got on Eb

The problem with Ceramic is it will snap easy. I snapped the locking link on new Samsung pushing pin back in. Problem, I ordered it came from Germany. Samsung USA said to call Samsung Germany for replacement...but I do not speak the language.. so at this point money gone so be careful removing links if you import. I have picture but You get the the idea...be careful.. nice band

I've already written to Samsung to bring this awesome accessory to the states. I could only find one European website that would sell it but the prohibitive shipping cost of $90 plus the actual item price makes it a no go.
You can certainly find a ceramic band for the S2 (or even a steel band but it won't match the S2's color scheme), however it'll most definitely have that hideous gap between the watch and the first link. Give Samsung a call or write as well so that maybe in large enough request we can get it over here at a reasonable price sooner rather than later.
Don't waste your time on Ebay, Aliexpress, China Wholesale, DH Gate, Amazon or whatever. They simply do not have anything that will fit. The 20mm fit is rare and if in fact you do buy one, -again-, it'll have that unconvincing tacked on after thought look that you'll see all over in pics on this forum with Gear S2 owners whom are sadly showing off their ill fitting ware. I'd gladly pay a few extra pennies for the svelte look in comparison.

I'd like to think I'm the catalyst to this trigger since I'm the only one harping on this subject but whatever. Rock the band that you feel is worthy.

Darn, I'd missed the fact this is for the classic. I really like the strap.

I put an order in for it right away for my 4G model. Initially contacting Samsung as to when if ever the device would be available here in the States after discovering that it had been on the market in Europe for some time. It went up for preorder a few days after my query with the customer service rep not being sure if it would fit my TMobile model. Obviously I'm hoping that it does because this could possibly be a royal waste of time. At the moment I'm waiting for the preorder to be filled. I'll do a follow up to whether it fits the 4G model right away once I have it in hand.
Side note: I highly recommend most guys look into purchasing the 4G model being that it's a bit larger than the Wifi version 44mm vs 40mm (sceen size is the same). To me the Wifi version is way too aesthetically feminine and toy like. My wife has the wifi rose gold model and it's a perfect fit for her, but the 4G model looks silly on her wrist just as the reverse scenario fits for me.
For those that haven't seen the 44mm casing vs 40mm casing side by side, take my word for it, the larger design looks like the more serious device. Fitting for a proper men's wrist.

I don't know about spending a 100 bucks on this, I would definitely grab it if it was 50 and change. I like the way it looks and hope it comes down in price. I've looked all over for a strap with a bigger connection that fills in the gap and had no luck so far. But anything fancy about ceramic over stainless steel?

The Band apparently turns out to be a myth.
The Original Ceramic band (ET-SCR73MBEGUJ) is now mysteriously missing from Samsung's official site. I had placed my pre-order with no idea on availability. The pre-order buy button was first removed, then the item itself. I just went ahead and canceled my order after logging into my Samsung account and speaking to representatives that have no clue as to what's going on with said product. My pre-order sat in limbo for about a month and a half. It is still listed on Amazon however as a pre-order as well but this has turned out to be a crock of bull. I now doubt that this official band will ever be released in the states.
Anyone knows what gives? Perhaps Samsung didn't get enough orders to make it worth their while, or maybe they somehow said screw it "we'll put our resources into shipping the gear fit 2". Whatever the reason is though, I'm extremely disappointed with how this release has been handled and would be highly skeptical about their commitment to any new product announcements. Supporting any fashion accessory in the future from me is highly unlikely being that I look at Apple and envy all the customization they've released for even their hideous Apple thing. Samsung has had a history of not following through with their products and software. It's time for them to acknowledge this fact and start paying attention to the details and respecting their customers and fans. One that I still am even today but.....

I made an order from that seller on aliexpress, 12 days ago on black friday.
I was able to purchase the cheaper 6/128 version, plus aliexpress select coupon and a 10$ coupon that i was exchanged for ali coins. was happy about the price at first. later i realize that the option was fake.
He said that he will ship it in 2-5 working days, tried to contact him after 5 working days (7 days after I made the order), he didn`t answer, tried again after 2 days (9 days), still nothing.
the day after that I contract aliexpress customer service, and she told me to request order cancellation, I told her couple of times that I still want the order, but she kept saying that I have nothing to worry about, and the order wont be canceled right away.
So I did listen to her, and did it.
How long it took for Hongkong VT Store to cancel my order? 5 god dam minutes!
It confirmed my thoughts that he is ignoring me, and wont sending my mate 20x.
The seller is not trust worthy, scamming his customer.
Its a shame that ali express allows this kind of behavior from their sellers, but the rest of the story made me understand that ali express customer service is as bad as the seller.
I contract them again in order to at least get the same price on the product, since its their representative that gave me the false information. they ignored it.
I asked them to get the coupons again, he said that he will pass it to the manager. 2 days afterwards got a mail that said that I wont get any coupon, and if I want i can place new order.
Be advised to ali express awful customer, and their cunning seller.

Doesn't matter now I suppose but I order from AliExpress all the time and I've found the sellers will wait till the literal last day of their processing time to ship. Then they'll hold on to the package for a long time to. AliExpress gives massive amounts of time so they can **** around like that. Anyways I've found they rarely if ever respond to requests to ship/process faster. I ordered a lipin falcon from their official store and they took so long to ship it I missed black Friday with them since it was the first time buying lipin. Just AliExpress sadly.. also got to watch out for their advertising
Ya, i had little hope that he will ship it. but due to false information from the customer service it does not matter.
BTW, the processing time was 30 days!
I can only say good things about Aliexpress.

There is always some bad stories to tell for most web sites.
I feel sorry for u with this, its so ****ty when it happens.
I know the seller u talk about, i never buy from them, but i have been close some times, maybe one day i will and i know if something is wrong i can make a dispute and i always have good experience when i make disputes. But luckly it have always been from small orders my disputes.
The question is what ali express customer service do for you when a seller wont comply to his obligations.
95% percent of the my online orders is from amazon, never experienced something even close to that from amazons customer service. they take full responsibility for their actions and commitments.

I think that 4 days it more than enough for a seller to respond to message. Plus, when your customer service gives bad advice you should take responsibility for their mistakes, not the customer.
I made 30 orders on ali express but never had to deal with the customer service, so?
If i can recommend a seller on Aliexpress, would def be HW Retail Store. I order from this guy 2 Units Mate 20 X and i ask him to send both devices in Original Factory Sealed BOX, No PlayStore Installed ! He did it like i said, i was fingercrossed because i have paid by credit card, but everything was smooth and the seller keep his promise.
Not to mention that before i purchase from HW Retail Store, i have bought 1 unit from WondaMobile and another Unit from Giztop. Worst Sellers ever !
I have ask them to send me Sealed BOX, they promise me they will send it In Factory Sealed BOX... Guess what ? Both phones from WondaMobile and Giztop arrived with Open BOX and fingerprints all over the screen... ! Thanks God i paid by Paypal, i open Dispute and got refunded after i send both phones back to China !
Then i went on Aliexpress and after asking lots of seller about the Sealed BOX, this guy HW Retail Store was the only Seller who was honest, prompt reply and he send me pictures with the Sealed BOX before purchase. So, i can recommend you this Seller on Aliexpress with all my heart... in my case was a smooth transaction and a very pleasant experience to have both units in Original Sealed BOX !

Verizon is offering up to $1000 trade in value on phones w/ either new lines or upgrades when used on certain Unlimited Plans. Brought the cost of my Ultra 512 down to less than $10/month.

Odd. Did you register for the pre order? I got the full $250. As far as trade ins, trading in a Note 9 so only got about $220 for it.

Yes, I did pre-order and pre-register. I ran into an issue when placing the order with MS Edge browser, so I had to cancel & restart the order in Google Chrome browser. When I started the order in Edge, the $250 was there, when I restarted the order in Chrome, it was gone. Maybe they thought I was double-dipping?

I finally got an order through with the Shop Samsung app. After trying for 8 hours on and off and having the shopping cart delete itself countless times, that was a relief. The Verizon deal for $1000 off was tempting but having to upgrade your plan for 3 years (Adds $360 to $720), no bonus items, and sales tax on full retail really soured the deal. Also, even meeting all requirements, the Verizon trade in checker kept saying devices were ineligible. Instant trade in credit through Samsung is a great deal if you have to pay the device off early for whatever reason.
How do you get the extra $50 off for pre-registering? I did so, but going through the ordering process it only mentioned a $200 discount.

I did the pre-order register and the only way it would show up for me was through the samsung shop APP on my tablet or phone, but I was able to preorder the Green 512gb unlocked version, and skipped using the 250.00 since the USA site was cluster [email protected]@@ trying to get a order placed, but it says after 14 days of delivery I will get the 250.00 applied to my samsung account and use for anything on samsung website at later date. below is what my order says for pre-ordering.
"For reserve ( 2/9- 2/24) Use your redemption at the time of preorder, or redemption details will be emailed within 14 days after your order is delivered. 90 days to redeem"
In Samsung.com you dont need to use the $250 credit when you order. Instead you get a voucher by email that you can use at a future date.
I ordered from the Samsung Website because the trade in and deals were much better than ordering directly from the carrier.

I just ordered my S22 Ultra. First Galaxy S I've owned since the Note 8 came out. Been Note since then.
My Z Fold 3 is my daily driver, but I keep my Note 20 Ultra around as a backup device on a secondary line. Really wasn't considering trading in, but if you go through Samsung.com and choose TMo, it drops the price of the S22 Ultra 256GB a full $100 cheaper than the other carriers or unlocked. Plus with online activation that knocked off another $50. Trade in for the N20U was $800. It was $600 through everyone else. Brought the price down to $349.
Then I traded in my Galaxy Watch 4 for $120 and used $250 credit toward a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic (I missed that physical bezel). After tax, I'm spending $330 for the S22 Ultra and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Seemed like a no brainer to me.
This is the first carrier branded device I've purchased in a few years, but it'll be paid off and I can unlock it in I believe 45 days. Flash the factory unlocked firmware for a bloat free experience and I'll never know the difference.
I'll actually keep this one a couple years, unless the S23 Ultra does something just totally amazing. Plus I'll be saving up to get the ZF4 if it's a big upgrade over my ZF3.
So TL;DR - If you're a. TMo customer it's a no brainer. It's only $349. Even less if you go direct through TMo and don't mind the bill credits. I didn't want to deal with Bill credits and the $250 samsung store credit made up the difference in my mind.
LOL. Canceled and reordered. I forgot to sign into my first responder discount, which knocked $90 off. So I basically got the 512GB for the same price as the 256GB.
So trading in my Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 4. Ordered the 512GB TMo in Phantom Black and a matching black Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Total cost after tax $344.

Question S22U Back ordered

For the first time ever I ordered a Sammy device directly from Samsung instead of going through my carrier. Looking at the dates on the website, the white version looked like it was ready to ship but for some reason when I tried to order it I was told it couldn't deliver my location but the other colors were fine?
Anyway, went with Phantom Black, 256GB. Mother's Day sale. Said delivery by May 31st. In your experience, those of you that have bought directly from Samsung, what are the chances that this 31st date is reliable? Or if you think it'll ship before then? I don't know what the current state of their production is. Carriers have stock but their trade-in values suck.
I'm also wondering the chances that this date (that's estimated of course) will be pushed back? I keep checking the website like I'm shopping for a new phone and their ship dates keep going back since last week I checked.
More dumb questions. I never bought directly from Samsung before so do they ship in directly from the factory or they have stock inside the US they tap from? I'm assuming they're out of any stock they have inside this country since they're back ordered. So does that mean my phone's coming directly from overseas to me or are they like waiting to build up stock in a warehouse somewhere here then start to distribute?

as soon as they received the approval of the financial institution (less than a week) they sent it immediately and in 24 hours it arrived at my house.

Well I ordered black 256GB February 10th, it didn't arrive until March 15th.
Fingers crossed it arrives as per order date. In my case it took 7 instead of 4 weeks to arrive. But that was in UK and for a custom colour

I've been purchasing my phones, tablets, accessories etc directly from Samsung for about 8 years. Typically when they post a ship date you will actually receive the item by that date. My S22u was actually the first item Samsung pushed back a ship date but that was due to an overall shortage of S22u due to high demand.
I can also attest that Samsung has multiple warehouses in the US. The Samsung warehouse in Coppell, TX which is about 15 miles from where I live shipped my S22u, S-view cover and T7 portable SSD.

FWIW, I purchased my S20U, S21U, and now S22U all direct from Samsung (because of the great trade-in deals). I don't remember the first two beind delayed. The S22U I ordered on 5/1 with an expected delivery of 5/10 (I did not spring for expedited delivery). After several days I received an update that it had been pushed back to 5/24. It just arrived yesterday, so several days earlier than their pushed back date. It shipped out of Coppell, TX via FedEx.
Haven't been on here in ages, but was just coming to look at ROOT stuff for the S22 Ultra since I am being forced off my forever LG G8 phone I had.
As to the topic though, I JUST ordered a Phantom White S22 Ultra yesterday and it shipped same day already and is expected to be here in 3 days via FedEx. The ones I saw that appeared to be backordered were the Samsung Exclusive colors, but those don't look that good anyway so you do better to just get a regular color.

I called today after getting the email and they said they'd send a request to the fulfillment center to "prioritize" my order? I don't know if that's really what they did but they said expect a response within 48 hours.
I'm mostly anxious about getting this thing shipped ASAP because I don't want more time with this phone I'm using now for the trade just in case something happens to it. Ya know?

I am also in Texas so it's highly possible. I don't think many people order the 512GB and 1TB versions so that could be the reason mine shipped same day due to high stock availability. Sidenote, I actually loved my LG G8 and didn't want to change but the 5G crap being forced is the only reason. I'm still going to use it when I'm at home and only use my S22 Ultra when I need to be out with active service.

Black 256GB is also what I ordered. At the time, black appeared to be the only one available in a reasonable amount of time.

when I ordered mine it was a 256 Black and it it was pushed back and the new deliver date was June 11. I got it 2 days ago.
