Does anybody know why the option to keep screen on when charging is gone after update to 2.2?
Thank you
Samsung's infinite wisdom I suppose. I actually used that option sometimes too. Annoying.

I think it is done by purpose so that they won't get tons of warranty returns because of screen burn in. In case you don't know, all OLED/AMOLED screens have quite limited pixel life span (somewhere around 2,000 hours). Left a screen on for prolonged time is a quick way to have permanent burn in.
On the other hand, now when you dock the phone to Samsung Docks, it will automatically keep the screen on.
Anyway I haven't been using the fuze for like a year now so if you guys can't fix it then no problem. So, the display does not show at all. When I turn it on you feel the vibration, however the screen does not light up at all, you get no display. How it happened was that I had slept on it by accident (which makes me think it be fix unless I do something physically like take it apart), when I woke up a realized that I was laying on it I immediately got up and the display was not showing.
I've tried leaving it plugged in for 8 hours and it didn't work......that's all I tried.
Thanks for all the answers.
I sleep on mine all the time...
Have you attempted to get into bootloader; to see the multi-color screen?
no display
i think its about time you opened the device up and seen whats going on inside
if you break it, no biggie = can't fix it then no problem
Entire Screen is color dotted I cant see anything rebooting the phone wont work taking out the battery wont work. Ive taken best care of this phone and had a case mate, never even dropped it on top of having a case mate, what seems to be the problem? Its very aggravating going to bed with a phone working waking up finding out that your phone wont ever display anything again, I had this problem 1 night before this happened the night before it happened for about 10 mintues so I ignored it got home from school took a nap, and its permanent. any ideas? thank you
Maybe it is dead or stuck pixels
I had an issue which was similar to yours a couple of months ago. Actually my phone fell and some black spots appeared on the screen. First I thought am screwed badly cause they kept on spreading all over the screen. But after I searched internet, I found some information on this topic. There are some softwares on play store which help to find and remove stuck pixels. But, in my case they weren't useful. So I searched more and found a thread on xda where a member with the same phone had the same issue. He kept his phone in the fridge everyday for a few hours and eventually the dead pixels came to life. I followed the same thing and my phone came to life in a matter of days. Thanks to him, now my phone is perfectly fine. If you have stuck pixels, then you can try those play store softwares. Just search dead pixel on play store and check what you need. Stuck pixels are colored dots on the screen and dead pixels are black dots on the screen.

I unfortunately smashed my screen and ended up having it replaced by buying an oem screen from eBay. But whenever pressure is put on certain parts of the back of the phone the screen just cuts off. It's got to the point where the phones just sitting there or its in my pocket and the screen will die (the phone is still on as I can see the notification light blinking but this isn't always the case) and I have to push the back of the phone and reset it and after a few attempts this will usually work. Any idea what it could be? Faulty screen? Dodgy installation? (I've checked numerous YouTube videos and as far as I can tell nothing is missing).
I'm tempted to just send it to Google and see what they say as I'm getting pretty fed up with it constantly dying but thought I'd try here first
Thanks
I'm currently on holiday in Majorca, today the screen stopped working, the backlight comes on but nothing displays, I'm still getting notifications. I powered it off and left it for a while, now it shows the Sony and powered by Android screens but then goes off during the next animation
Any ideas what I can do?
I was using it for 4k video recording, photos and the only means of contacting people, currently on my wife's phone using the free WiFi in reception but we cannot use it for calls or texts.
Any help appreciated
I've used the 'off' thing under the flap a few times by the way, that's the only way I can turn it off at the moment

I'm on holiday, no access to a computer, hoping to get it going while here as it's our camera and video camera if something can be done ?
Without pc it cannot be done, or try to press the red button u mentioned above for 10 second let it off and charge it then turn it on
OK, left it powered off and in rice overnight, in case humidity affected it, this morning the screen now stays on but the touchscreen goes nuts like I'm pressing it everywhere, any ideas?
24 hours later, it's no longer going nuts but doesn't respond to my touch at all

Haha I am having a similar issue. I think mine is registering crazy touches too but my screen flickers like hell and then eventually goes black. I left it in a rice bag for two days but didnt solve it yet. I created a thread about it here because mine was directly due to water damage. Did you dip ti anywhere?
