Mi4i Best Compatible Headphones - Xiaomi Mi 4i

Hi guys
I am eager to know which headphones output is crisp and clear.
Have anyone of you tried the new in ear headphones by Xiaomi.

Last week I recived Mi Piston 3. I'm not a pro in terms of sound, but I love them. I also prefere clear sound over pur bass power but they have decent Bass also.

For better music experience you should use Poweramp. I myself use Sony XB-450 headphones Extra Bass. They work amazing on this phone. For Earphones I have used Sony MDR-XB70AP Extra Bass and Skullcandy 50-50. They all are just worth the cost. In Earphones the volume was just the half and still it was loud in there.

I use Samsung headphones.

[Q] [I9003]How to Improve Audio Quality ?

As everyone knows, the audio quality of I9003 is not up to the mark, and this has been discussed various times.
Its real bad when compared to that of I9000 or of any iphone (personally tried).
If anyone knows about any custom rom, with improved sound or any other rom, or any method to improve the sound quality, please discuss.
As crazy as it sounds I'm actually quite satisfied with the audio quality of our phone (despite my constant whining a few months ago). Although I do agree that the audio quality of most idevices is better.
Anyway I'm currently using cranium rom and miui player on XXKPH. I honestly cant tell if this has any impact on audio quality but recently I've been a happy camper
Others will suggest the use of the equalizer app from the market. Its honestly the best EQ available and you wont be using those EQs that come with the music player anymore. It's free too
I suggest the Playerpro app as well since I've found it to have a louder volume overall and the UI is pretty neat.
And although this might sound redundant but I'm curious as to what headset your'e using. It always helps to have a reliable pair of quality head/earphones
I have the headphones that comes with the i9003, they are quite good. With DSP Manager it has a good quality sound, but Im having a problem with it, the phones speakers keep doing a static sound and drink the battery.
Ill try the equalizer app...

Oh man I suggest you get the Koss Portapros. These are the best sounding and most comfortable headphones I've ever used (and I've used alot). Their sound quality is comparable to headsets which are 3x times more expensive. Plus it comes with a no questions asked LIFETIME warranty- just pay for shipping.
I've been using these for a year and it hasn't failed me. Here in the Philippines it gets pretty hot so comfort is a big issue for me when it comes to headsets. With these on I forget I'm even wearing them
Here is the link for more info: http://www.amazon.com/Koss-PortaPro...P4ZH/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1320488226&sr=8-1
For on ear headphones Ive the senheizer hd202. They are just great. But for listening to music while walking on street I use the in-ear samsung headphones.
The HD202's sound great on well driven devices but unfortunately thanks to its high resistance it just doesnt sound good on most portable devices.
If you want slightly inexpensive mic+ earphones combo like the stock earphones that came with the phone go for skullcandy riot!
They are better than the stock earphones and are not going to break the bank!
Also I want to know on sennheiser hd202 3.5 mm hack do you have 2 concentric black/gray rings or 3 rings?
Tapashocked via my gt-I9003 with a random keyboard of my choice !

There are 2 concentric rings.
Have you tried using those portable headphone amps from fiio? The E5 or the E6? I have the old E5 and it does improve the sound from my I9003. The earphones I have used that to my feeling had an improvement were the Denon reference C751 and the Sennheiser IE8 with silver cable. I have also used it on an AKG K420 and Sennheiser PX100 and I did feel some improvement on sound.
Guys what would you prefer
Equalizer app or the Music fx app.

I'm currently use both:
Meelectronics M-Duo (dual driver, one button +mic)
Xiaomy piston (single driver, 3 buttons + mic)
And they both works like a charm also all the buttons works (vol up/down or skip track).
Before i've used also a pair of bluetooth headphones: the Jabra Revo Wireless (no problem at all and same HIGH audio fidelity)

will they work well on stock rom or i have to flash a custom rom ? and what about sony newly released Sony sth 30 earphones ?
Hello,
I've also got a pair of Xiaomi Pistons V 2.0 and they're great. They're the best inearphones I've ever had and they're a lot better than my other inearphones such as Beats by Dre Urbeats and A-Jays One Plus.
Xiaomi Pistons works out of the box without the need of flashing a kernel, and does support volume control and such.
Make sure that you order from a trusted store such as PenonAudio or Ibuygou, there are a lot of counterfeits around. All of the ones sold on ebay are counterfeits.

Just to make your decision a bit harder - have you ever looked at the hippoVB's? They were my first IEMs and I never really like any others after them. What i really love is that you can change some screws in the back to adjust the amount of bass. If you get some comply foam tips with them you can hear almost nothing from the outside world

Too many options ,
now Just recommend one of these
1-Sony sth30
2-Soundmagic e10
3-soundmagic e30
4- recommend your own which is available in india
it should be loud with bass as z1c lacks loudness
I am sorry for intruding here, but after it is often pointed out how good headphone X keeps ambient noise out, I want to ask if there are any suggestions for android-compatible quality in-ears (more buttons are better than less) that do not mute ambient sounds too much(?)
That is, I want to - of course - hear what comes from the speakers but still be able to have a little acoustic feedback from my surroundings (when I'm cycling in heavy traffic, to give just one example). I sometimes use the stock in-ears that came with the phone and don't like how I can't hear much besides what comes out of the tiny speakers (and occasionally my blood rushing and whatever funny bodily sound effects there may be).
Ordered SoundMagic E10's - Will Post a Review soon after they Come.
I got SoundMagic ES18, after i heard the awesome sound for 12 USD price ... ordered 2 extra to have backup for the backup
make sure u "burn" them a bit before listening. just play white noise sound on full vol overnight.
if you are rooted, also install the volume boost so you get more volume.
I was thinking of burning them with pink noise, could you please give me links for good burn in tracks and little more information on that

Soundmagic e10 , I was very disappointed. after all those reviews and awards they are nothing special, good but not great. my stock samsung inears sound louder and equal quality to them
i just got the xiaomi pistons v2 .. well the soundmagic es18 sound better to me.
using the same earplugs silicons to make sure its exact same seal in the ear.
really not impressed for the double the price of es18

actually not, i gave them to my brother who used them for some days.
now i got em back and sound so much better than before.
still ES18 are quite close compared for the price tag.
to be sure, i will burn them today overnight with pink noise
Plz Somebody tell me a good inear earphones and headphones for my z1 compact, totally disappointed by the level of sound produced by them, way too low, Don't know why.
Currently i'm using
Sound magic ES18 (loudness ok which vanishes as bass part comes)
Razer electra ( Clear but lacks loudness )
Sony v55 ( whispering)
I'm currently planning to buy piston v2, will be there any significant change over es18.
If not is it possible to connect external sound card through otg to this ****ty phone, if yes plz tell me the name of sound dac.

[Q] Earphones

What earphones/headphones do you guys use with your oneplus one!?
I'm using the JayBird Bluebirds X bluetooth wireless headphones. They're awesome. For sure a little pricey, but the sound quality and fit is the best of any in-ear headphone I've tried. Plus I work out a lot, and 6 months on, they're holding up brilliantly.
http://www.amazon.com/JayBird-BlueBuds-Sport-Bluetooth-Headphones/dp/B00B6ZGSVI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1406202577&sr=8-2&keywords=bluebirds+x
Oh and paired with the Viper4Android app, they sound even better. Was a little disappointed with the stock EQ app on the OPO, but then again, it's probably sufficient for most people.
Heir Audio 8.A and sometimes the UE6000.
I have my old "beats" earphones that came with my old HTC phone. How do I make these work with other handsets? How can they lock these to certain types of phones?
Also using the Jaybird Bluebird X bluetooth in-ear headphones when working out, doing yard work or anything else that I might sweat with. Usually use my prior iPhone 5S headphones when I'm just lounging (they're actually pretty good), and if I need concentration or am traveling I use my Bose QC15. I haven't found the audio FX app to be a benefit to the sound of my music, so I keep it disabled.
Klipsch S4 with Viper4AndroidFX.

im using my modded sennheiser hd 555. the sound quality with the oneplus is great. its got a separate headphone amplifier and 24bit 192khz audio that you only get from lg and htc devices.
If you really want value for the money then you'd get some Xiaomi Pistons 2.0 (real ones, not the fake garbage on ebay)
ATH-M50 and DT 770
All good

Over the ears are great, at the cost of portability. For me, in ears suites me better as I live in a urban area. At home, I don't use the Pistons as I use my headset.
Sennheiser HD555s were awesome open ear headphones are super nice too but really only used indoors because of noise leaks
Jabra halo2 .... basic, cheap...at home sennheiser hd555/595, but mostly halo2 at home too.

Bluetooth or wireless Heaphones?

Anyone recommend wireless headphones for listening to music?
Strangely, my Sony headphones which work on my note 3 don't work on my 6P. I think I saw some complaints on the internet too. It's like the jack is just a prop on my 6P. Really my first complaint.....love the phone otherwise!

In ear, on ear, or over ear?
What kind of music?
Generally speaking, I haven't met a pair of Bluetooth headphones I've liked enough that I'd buy them. I'll stick with my Blue MoFi and Sony XBA-A3 headphones. That said, there are some I've heard which weren't bad.
http://amzn.com/B00MCHE38OO
I've heard those, and they were pretty good. Have to be careful on the bass boost, or it bleeds into mids. Can be used as wired headphones too. Very comfortable!
The Jaybird X2 buds are about as highly recommended as in ear Bluetooth devices come. I thought they were good, but didn't hold a candle to the A3's.
The phiaton 530's were good, but I can't stand on ear phones. Sound better wired, but that could have been due to the source I was using when I listened to them.
Parrot Zik is also very nice I've been told.
Hope that helps.

Doesn't say on the headphones. I probably threw the box away. Really solid built though. Very satisfied so far.
I know that people will bash anything "Beats", but my bluetooth Beats Studio headphones works fine with the 6P. When I bought it, there weren't too many options that had both Bluetooth and active noise cancelling, but there are some more now.
There are some great options. Beats, Parrot, V-moda and more. Most work with Android, but work better with an iPhone. Personally I really love the Sony headphones. Great sound, good comfort, really durable, subtle looks and work great with Android. Just grab a pair that matches your needs. I would recommend one of these:
- Sony MDR 1ABT
- Sony MDR 1RBT
- Sony MDR 10BT
Bought the 1ABT myself after trying loads of headphones. Got them for about 300. Hard to find a good deal on the internet though.
Any aptX compatible? How's creative?
http://www.aptx.com/products/browse/categories
Plantronics BackBeat 903+. Got them for around 80€ and I'm pretty satisfied for a daily driver.
I have the Earins initially founded on Kickstarter: www.earin.com I find they're pretty good for how small they are. In terms of sound quality I've heard better but, for the portability its really quite amazing. Here's an unboxing: https://youtu.be/uzeUEL9Ej08
