Anyone recommend wireless headphones for listening to music?
Strangely, my Sony headphones which work on my note 3 don't work on my 6P. I think I saw some complaints on the internet too. It's like the jack is just a prop on my 6P. Really my first complaint.....love the phone otherwise!

In ear, on ear, or over ear?
What kind of music?
Generally speaking, I haven't met a pair of Bluetooth headphones I've liked enough that I'd buy them. I'll stick with my Blue MoFi and Sony XBA-A3 headphones. That said, there are some I've heard which weren't bad.
http://amzn.com/B00MCHE38OO
I've heard those, and they were pretty good. Have to be careful on the bass boost, or it bleeds into mids. Can be used as wired headphones too. Very comfortable!
The Jaybird X2 buds are about as highly recommended as in ear Bluetooth devices come. I thought they were good, but didn't hold a candle to the A3's.
The phiaton 530's were good, but I can't stand on ear phones. Sound better wired, but that could have been due to the source I was using when I listened to them.
Parrot Zik is also very nice I've been told.
Hope that helps.

Doesn't say on the headphones. I probably threw the box away. Really solid built though. Very satisfied so far.
I know that people will bash anything "Beats", but my bluetooth Beats Studio headphones works fine with the 6P. When I bought it, there weren't too many options that had both Bluetooth and active noise cancelling, but there are some more now.
There are some great options. Beats, Parrot, V-moda and more. Most work with Android, but work better with an iPhone. Personally I really love the Sony headphones. Great sound, good comfort, really durable, subtle looks and work great with Android. Just grab a pair that matches your needs. I would recommend one of these:
- Sony MDR 1ABT
- Sony MDR 1RBT
- Sony MDR 10BT
Bought the 1ABT myself after trying loads of headphones. Got them for about 300. Hard to find a good deal on the internet though.
Any aptX compatible? How's creative?
http://www.aptx.com/products/browse/categories
Plantronics BackBeat 903+. Got them for around 80€ and I'm pretty satisfied for a daily driver.
I have the Earins initially founded on Kickstarter: www.earin.com I find they're pretty good for how small they are. In terms of sound quality I've heard better but, for the portability its really quite amazing. Here's an unboxing: https://youtu.be/uzeUEL9Ej08

Hi Guys,
Can you please suggest me a good in-ear earplugs with mic for my N1.
I love heavy bass.
if the mic has song previous next controls would be great.
Budget < $40(with shipping) or a deal would be great.

Too late I guess, and out of your price range. But I use the Bose MIE2 mobile headset and the sound quality is just incredible with the nexus, and all functions work well. Price is high at 140 dollars but totally worth it if you have the means. Best accessory I've got for my nexus.
I am using the Radius Atomic Bass II and love it.
Have a few brand new spare ones. If anyone interested, please PM me.

I can't really compare between what's better, because I haven't used any of those 3 but I have a pair of Bose IE2s (seems to be about the same price range as the Shures) and a blue tooth pair of Jaybird BlueBuds X with TX-500 Comply Foam Tips. Both sound amazing. The IE2 doesn't have any mic or media controls though, but they do sell ones that do (MIE2). I recently wanted better sound and those are what I got. Those coupled with the ViPer4Android Audio Mod and adding the Tips to the BlueBuds I'm content. Best 2 pair of headphones I've ever had, but then again... I've never spent more than 20 bucks on earphones. I can't image how much better the $200+ headphones would sound, but then again I can't even image the sound getting any better than this.
Also the J33i's say apple 3-button remote, so check if they do work on android if that's something you want.
Special Note: On the ViPer4Android Mod. It works so good that I'm thinking of buying cheaper headphones, but not until my IE2s die, Because I'm cheap like that. I'd have never bought those if I hadn't listened to the pair my friend had. They make cheap headphones sound pretty damned good and good headphones sound great. Never thought much of the iphones earpods, but with the mod they sound quite nice, also had a pair of earphones that I listened to once and toss them in a drawer because they sucked, with the mod again sounded pretty good too. So if you guys haven't tried it, check it out. ViPER4Android Audio Effects, sorry not trying to hijack your thread, but I think it's possibly the best thing ever on my phone.

I can vouch for the Klipsch S4. I've had my pair for about a year and they are still perfect. The soundstage is superb. The instruments do not sound like they are right on top of each other. The bass and treble are a bit exaggerated but most people probably prefer it that way.

So researching and most reviews are saying that the jaybird bluebuds x2 are the current best.
My dog ate my LG tone pro hbs 730 which are older but good.
Trying to figure out best ones to get. Want great sound and something great for running as well. I hear the x2 cover all that. Specially with the comply buds that come with it now.
The other was considering as the new lg infinim. Up to other suggestions as well.

I'd like to get on ear or over ear, something small tho. The in ear tend to hurt me, on ear might if they are too tight.
I recommend the hbs-810 or second gen tone ultra. Half the footprint of the tone infinim with retractable earbuds. The x2 is my best sport headphone set but isn't ideal for office environments. That is where the tone shines.

Ive found expensive bt headphones dont sound much better, but perhaps last long fit btter look better or have more features.
My point wasnt to buy them on groupon or that they had any btter price, but more a comparision at sub $40-50 worth buying~
Ive seen some recomendations, features, look and talk about how it feels after wearing for a while. Once i can determine decent ones ill search for pricing.

Been searching in multiple threads and found no definitive answer. I am a big fan of in ear headphones due to the magnitude of work calls, I take from my cell phone. Has anyone been able to find a good pair of in ear headphones with in line Mic and working controls?
I am not looking for Bluetooth headphones - trying to avoid one more device to charge due to my frequent travel.
I also travel frequently and I've been using these. They sound awesome and they work for both iPhone and Android which is perfect for me as my company makes me use an iPhone.
**I was going to post the link, but it's not allowing me. They are the a-Jays Five ear buds
Currently i'm using my samsung earbuds. they are ok. Don't love them and they work ok.
Last night there was a lightening deal for these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YJS4RLM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
I will get these tomorrow and see how they go.
I have the Bose QC 20 (Samsung model which is their Android compatible line) they work great! It has active noise canceling, volume +,- and play pause all work! They are pricey at $300 but well worth it for the ANC for a non audiophile
Waiting on my Glow headphones to arrive, hopefully they'll give a good experience.
Have a budget for these? I have tons of recommendations, but no use getting links for $200 headphones if you have a $40 budget.

Some are over the $100 price point, and some I'm not sure about microphone compatibility (RHA), but those are all about the best bang for the buck headphones I would recommend. The Sony XBA-A1 being my top pick in the list. Hybrid buds sound sooooo good. I had the RHA T20i and would highly recommend RHA.
Most of these headphones would be "fun" or warm sounding (bass emphasising) buds as that is what I enjoy for a daily driver. More natural or flat sounding headsets would be the Klipsch or Sennheiser sets.
I would love to recommend more balanced armature headsets, but none of the ones I've heard and liked can be had for less than $200. Westone and Etymotic, for example.
I hope that helps!

I see some links are broken. I'll try to fix when I can edit on a PC. My phone kills cut and pasted links at times. I blame autocorrect.

Sennheiser Momentum's in Ear confirmed to be working in this reddit post. https://m.reddit.com/r/Nexus6P/comments/3qsfx9/nexus_6p_headphone_compatibility/
The Klipsch R6m and Sony earphones are single button, and I haven't had an issue with them.
As for the RHA, you'll have to Google for that. I've heard they work on most Android phones, but it's so hit and miss.
I have the Sennheisers and they work perfectly

I would like some recommendations on In Ear Headphones that work and sound good with the Nexus 6p.
My price point is $100 or under. These will be for general use, listening to music, taking phone calls, etc.
What do you like?
Thanks,
Rick

I use the Klipsch s4 with the combination of the Comply Isolation tips. These headphones sound really good already, but with those tips you'll get an even better sound, bass, and more confort. There is now a newer version for the Klipsch that is the R6 and it's only $59.99, or the R6i that comes with phone controls and mic for $79.99. Now, if you'd like bluetooth, you can never go wrong with the Jaybirds X2's, I have them as well and sound very good to me, keep in mind I am no audiophile. Just my two cents!
My favorite pair of in-ear headphones has been my Jaybird X2's. http://www.jaybirdsport.com/x2-bluetooth-headphones/
The fact that they are not uncomfortable after a 20+ mile bike ride seals the deal for me. Fantastic headphones, and under your price point.
My back-up suggestion would be the LG Tone series headphones. They are also fantastic, but not as secure fitting or comfortable as the X2's I have.

Sound Magic E10 in-ear headphones - Win the What Hi-Fi award (UK) for in-ear headphones year on year and they're considerably cheaper than the opposition that they always beat.

Thanks for the replies. I think the first step is for me to order some comply tips. I have some Klipsch S4's that I need to try with new tips.
