[Q] Soft Bricked Galaxy S3- Kernel Level

Hey Guys,
I'm a noob and I was fooling around with overclocking my SIII and installed the invisiblek v2 kernel on an aosp rom and I have tried even re-partitioning (as my friend recommended) and that hasn't worked, can anybody help me?
Additional Information:
Device: Verizon 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy SIII
Stock Android version: 4.0.4
Version with AOSP: 4.1.1
Kernel: Was stock, now Invisiblek V2
Color: White (If that makes a difference.)
#EDIT: Its now hanging on the second Samsung logo.

Might want to flash stock kernel back by dirty flashing rom over again

Just return to stock. That should fix the problem. Tho Idk about the repartitioning part. Every guide I've seen says not to tick that box.

Just flash back to stock. Hopefully the partition box didn't Brick your phone.

if you checked repartition then its going to take a few extra steps to get it back! follow puremotives softbrick guide in the dev section.
Ive tried returning to stock, PureMotive's guide and flashing the stock kernel but it gives me one of two fails: 1. Fail(Auth) 2. Complete(Write) operation failed.
This is the log when i try using PureMotive's guide (1st step: VRALEC Bootchain)-

After the whole day of trial and error I have got to the point where there is no os on the s3. The only thing I can boot into is download and CWM. The last thing I need to do is copy a rom onto the phone but adb says no device found and I cant do much with odin. Any ideas?

[Q] I717 Odin Flash help; What's wrong?

I've soft bricked my Galaxy Note I717 3 times in the last week while trying to update to the Jellybean firmware. Samsung Kies does not work. It says that there was a communication error during the upgrade process, whatever that means. I took it to the ATT store and they revived it within a few minutes with no data loss. This happened twice. I just tried to manually flash the update using odin, but I get this message:
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..

Now I'm stuck in download mode. I tried to flash the Jellybean ROM again, but it stops right there. I'm currently runnin the stock ICS firmware. Any suggestions?

you must use the same base band if you have XXU you must download stock firmware with XXU & if you have XCU you should download the XCU stock rom :highfive:

Odin3 FAIL with unroot and flash stock firmware

Hi, I'm new here, but I'm experiencing some serious difficulties with my S7 SM-G930F (T-Mobile, The Netherlands). I managed to put on a custom rom and root (Resurrection Remix android 8.1.0), but with more difficulty than it was supposed to be. It took me hours and I'm happy my phone now finally works. However, I can't play PoGo andymore now and before the Resurrection ROM my first intention was to unroot and flash stock firmware. Warranty doesn't bother me that much. Yet Odin3 keeps giving me fails. I've tried 3 different ROM's so far and I think it has something to do with me wiping everything in the advanced section in TWRP (out of pure ignorance). This is the error I keep getting:
<ID:0/003> Odin engine v(ID:3.1301)..
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> Total Binary size: 4182 M
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..

Can somebody please help me with this?
Try 3.12 of Odin instead of 3.13 as sometimes it gives different results. Are you also flashing all 4 firmware files, or just AP?

I shall try Odin 3.12 and yes, I have been flashing all 4 firmware files; BL, AP, CP and CSC. I got my stock firmware from updato.com. It's the 8.0.0 android for the Netherlands, T-mobile, the right firmware for my phone.
im having a same problem here. my s7 edge can't be flashed to stock firmware eventhough i've downloaded the matched firmware. i was rotted my s7 edge sm g935fd to lineage os 14.1 using twrp, and now I just wanted it to be back to the factory setting, someone please help!
